Makes Social Media Manager Jobs Easy
What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to monitor so many things at once. It's nice to see who interacts with you and who is talking about issues related to your industry.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish you could tag people in your photos. It's a new feature on Twitter, so hopefully Hootsuite adds it as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Saves time and maximizes use of social media.

It's the best for shortening links, monitoring your social media interaction, and finding things to post.
Simplify and streamline social media accounts
What do you like best about the product?
I like the layout and simplicity to help you keep track of either your personal or professional social media accounts. Hootsuite let's you provide content across different platforms, but you only need to go to one website.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not found anything that I do not like about it. There is a free and a paid version, which of course offers more options, but I have managed fine with the free version.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have used Hootsuite in multiple work situations for a number of different reasons:
-to schedule posts to social media
-to have access to my social media accounts when their access was blocked on the work network

If you have or would like to have a consistent social media presence Hootsuite is a great product to use.
Hootsuite brings all my tasks into one!
What do you like best about the product?
I like hootsuite because I do a lot of social posting at work, thru multiple platforms and multiple accounts. I can schedule the same post on all of them at the same time, without the back and forth!
What do you dislike about the product?
support for instagram is not perfect - you need to have a picture to post. Would like an IG generator that can post words without having to go to another tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
bring one unitary branding image to a brand that has multiple facets.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
pro platform is worth is if you have a large social footprint
Good platform, great cost, but needs some work.
What do you like best about the product?
For the price, it's a great tool. I like that you can schedule Twitter and Instagram posts through the platform and it reminds you to post through push notifications from the app. I also like that you can monitor hashtags and mentions.
What do you dislike about the product?
You can't see the social influence of people talking about your brand. You can't see who is mentioning your Instagram handle. I would also love the ability for Instagram posts to automatically get published to Instagram instead of a push notification and having to do it manually.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing social media mentions, commenting and responding to conversations that mention the brand. I also love being able to schedule Instagram and Twitter posts.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a great and affordable platform. Easy to navigate and set up different tabs to monitor conversations and mentions. It's also great if your company has multiple brands or if you're in an agency.
Great program to manage social media sites
What do you like best about the product?
I really liked how easy it was to access all of the accounts within one main page. You can quickly get to your Facebook, Twitter, etc. page
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I would struggle with the views and adding certain topics or names to my dashboard.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Constant outreach and ease of use for scheduling all tweets and posts. This is a live saver for social media.

Dive in and try to understand everything as fast as possible, because this program makes your life so much easier with social media outreach.
Great tool forces social media management
What do you like best about the product?
I have been using HootSuite almost from the beginning of the company's existence and it is a very easy to use and comprehensive solution that manages all my social networks and my clients social networks.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't think that there is much to really dislike with HootSuite. Compared to other tools such as buffer however it is not as user-friendly
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have always needed to solve the problem of managing multiple social networks from One dashboard. HootSuite is one of the best and most comprehensive platforms where you can manage almost every single social network from one interface.
Would be awesome if it were perfect
What do you like best about the product?
I love that all of our social media is on one screen, with scrollable sections.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike how it doesn't update immediately and lacks some features that you can only perform on the actual platform. For instance, we can't check our ads or see Instagram DMs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're saving time by viewing all of our social media comments in one place. It's easier to see which features are more appealing at first glance.

While it's probably the best platform available for social media management, it's not perfect.
Hootsuite- Helpful but Lagging
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite is a great beginner scheduling service that helps you organize and pre schedule posts to various social channels. It also has a great feed system, where you can set up what you want to monitor from the tool directly. The scheduler is often easier than locally prescheduling a post like you can do on Facebook, because you have the option to send it to multiple channels at a time. Also, the detailed stream options are great for keeping an eye on all your channels, earned media, and mentions. There is also an integrated analytics program if you want to use one platform for everything.
What do you dislike about the product?
Often the site lags and causes slow down to production. When an important post needs to go out, I would rather post is localy to the channel necessary. It also is removing the ability to see link previews- such as those displayed on Facebook, which limits the control you have for the post and what it looks like once it goes live. It also often has issues with its tagging ability and mistags accounts of partners.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite helps to organize a social calendar and automate the social content process. It offers the ability to preschedule posts so that as a business you can be sure to hit high trafficked times, even if you are not currently at your computer. It also offers an app that helps make all your social accounts accessible from your phone and all your posts editable at your fingertips. This helps your social manager actually be where the action happens.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I don't love their analytics feature. If you are just starting, it is a good baseline, but if you are looking to dig deeper, you may want to graduate to using a different software.
Great Scheduling Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to schedule posts/tweets on Hootsuite. I also like that I can see past scheduled posts.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the user interface could be a bit more easy to use and navigate. I think Hootsuite is heading in the right direction with their most recent updates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Hootsuite to schedule social media for my organization. We are now able to plan in advance and schedule posts for off-business hours.

It's the only social media management tool I use!

What do you like best about the product?
The interface is a bit confusing at first, but with the help of the on screen guides i quickly learned the basics of the website and how to efficiently work with Hootsuite. The app is perfect for when I am away from my office and not near any computer. Mobile friendly is the way of the future.
What do you dislike about the product?
Again as i mentioned before, the interface was confusing at first but then over time I was able to adapt and navigate the site and the app with little to no issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a small company, thus we needed a way to spread our brand. We already had a small following on Facebook but we wanted to spread further. We added Instagram and Twitter soon there after but realized that managing all three platforms required more time than we could give. Hootsuite allowed us to expand out brand and post on multiple platforms without costing us too much time in doing so.

Read the walk-throughs carefully and make sure that when they update their system that your platforms are still valid and usable..
