What do you like best about the product?
I love being able to schedule stories. Hootsuite is set out in a very user friendly way and makes it easy to schedule content to keep your viewers engaged.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not able to schedule for Twitter & Facebook at the same time. They're different formats. Would be nice if this was an automatic feature.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Time management with social media posts. Better time management and more engagement.

Easy scheduling ability, and multiple account capabilities.

It is not easy to have more than one user on the same account.

Being able to tweet or share social media posts on the weekends, or when not in office. Nice to be able to schedule things in advance.

Baked-in analytics tools are practical; list view that updates automatically is helpful. Hootsuite works best for Twitter.
What do you dislike about the product?
Missing some essential features of Twitter's native platform (tagging people in photos, video preview, etc.)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scheduling is a must! And for simple straightforward analytics, Hootsuite is great.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Get as many free trials with competitors as possible—salespeople will gladly allow you onto their platforms to test out features and find out what works for you. Sprout offers very different listening and community management features, and Tweetdeck is a free Twitter product. There are so many of these types of products that it's absolutely essential to test (and to not get too caught up in customer loyalty). I'd also say that this isn't a great product for social platforms other than Twitter. Its setup really lends itself to shortform feed-based content, so Facebook messages or Instagram comments don't translate as well.
Easy to manage many priorities at once!
What do you like best about the product?
Do you manage a business or organization with Twitter, Facebook, Pintrest, or other social media sites? Would planning posts in advance and managing all of those sites on one page help you? Hootsuite was create just for that purpose, and has helped me in keeping all of the social media accounts for my organization organized and updated. I like that it lets me plan posts and make them uniform across platforms

Since Hootsuite added Instagram, I really dislike nothing! That was my only dislike previously.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite is the answer for the multitasking professional or student working with a small company or organization! Without someone dedicated to social media and marketing solely, it is an easy tool for organizing posts and information.

It's the best product on the market- free or not! Use it to help organize yourself and your small business or organization to be more efficient and user friendly!

It's wonderful to be able to see the conversations and engagements with our community on social media. Hootsuite makes it easy to manage social media when it's not necessarily a priority or we don't have time to schedule out each post.

I wish the interface for scheduling and linking was a bit smoother.

Hootsuite -- the ultimate in free social media schedulers
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite is the best on the market when it comes to free social media programs. It schedules, sorts, and automates much of the social media work that employees can spend hours trying to do without it's help. You can also schedule years in advance and there is no limit to the amount that you can schedule using the free program. This is SO different than other programs like Buffer, that charge you after five or so tweets. Hootsuite is the only way that I have kept my social media marketing ongoing through busy seasons and it is a program that I would recommend to anyone who uses Facebook Pages, Twitter, or Google+.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the only thing that I'm disappointed in is that Hootsuite does not integrate with Instagram. However, nothing integrates with Instagram, so I can't complain too much about that. I suppose additional features that would be nice would be looking up profiles in the main screen more easily.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite is my answer for working at small companies. Without a go-to person for social media, we require it to keep active on social media without spending precious manhours online. I can easily log on once a month, upload a month or more worth of tweets and posts, and go on my way.

Hootsuite is a great free social media tool and I highly recommend it's use at small companies!

This is a great setup for all of your communication needs. It allows you to set up everything all in one and has a great interface for all of your communication and output.

I do not like the layout. Interface is great for all of your things, but the layout could use some improvement.

I have used Hootsuite for a while now. It's great for personal and professional use!
What do you dislike about the product?
Analytics don't drive deep enough and the pricing structure makes no sense. They are no incentives for free customers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Auto-scheduling posts to separate social media networks.The benefits are that you can schedule posts depending on the time of day.

Just download it. The software really helps you keep track of your social media output.

What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to post to nearly all of my social media accounts.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the lack of certain social media platforms. And scheduling posts for Instagram is a bigger hassle than it's worth. And the main dashboard can get messy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's good for scheduling most of our social media posts. This saves me and my team from having to post at all hours seven days a week. Also, it's pretty good for monitoring all your social media accounts in one place.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try the free version first. Get a feel for the dashboard as it gets really messy really fast. Then, if you feel you can still read the cluttered dashboard, pay for the pro version to get the analytics, more accounts, etc.
