Everything in one place
What do you like best about the product?
We run several versions of our social media accounts across multiple regions and countries and Hootsuite allows us to manage all of these in one location.
I love that we can setup users and assign them social media streams, control what they do and see.
You can also expand use by installing apps to help improve use and expand what can be done from one location.
I love that you can bulk upload tweets via a CSV file allowing us to plan months in advance.

What do you dislike about the product?
My only one thing I find annoying is that on occasion scheduled tweets fail to send and you never really get a reason why. Rare but annoying.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This allows operators to deal with social media in the same way we deal with emails.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Have a little patience initially when setting up streams etc as they can be a little tricky.
However, after that, you'll love it.

Twitter—but better!
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to see what's going on with my Twitter at a glance is huge. Twitter is so difficult to navigate on its own unless you are specifically searching for an individual person, which is so rare when it comes to social media marketing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Whenever a tweet is retweeted X amount of times with a keyword you're following, it shows every single retweet on that keyword stream, making it very hard to actually see what people are saying about the keyword.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Social media promotion and amplification. Amplifying content from industry leaders and thought leaders.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you don't have Hootsuite or something similar, you're doing yourself a disservice when it comes to social media management and monitoring.

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of scheduling posts ahead of time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Having to pay for additional accounts. It'd be great to be able to use a few different accounts without having to pay.

Time management and automation.

It is a very organized program. It is straight forward on what needs to be done and how it produces its product

Updating multiple social media news feed all at one time. Very efficient

This is great for people who are utilizing social on several platforms and want integrated messaging

There are times in which posts will not go live

Having timed messages for audiences across all platforms at the right time - definitely a benefit when one audience consumes at a different time on one platform than another
Hootsuite for Social Media Management
What do you like best about the product?
I love the ability to set up custom streams based on key word searches, hashtags and usernames.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a better option for previewing what posts would look like on their native platforms.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite allows me to manage all of our social media platforms in one place, and gives me the ability to create custom-tailored reports to share with leadership on a recurring basis.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely use the knowledge base and learning opportunities within the Hootsuite academy. They are invaluable to a new user.
It's Okay
What do you like best about the product?
Nothing amazing about it. Simple to use and is effective for small businesses.
What do you dislike about the product?
limiting and confusing at times. there were some features i wish i could quickly access.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
sending out mass emails and networking.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the design of Hootsuite. They make it easy to navigate and appealing to look at. Hootsuite's support is always timely and helpful. They have great communication with Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram in order to make their service better.
What do you dislike about the product?
Since Hootsuite is connected to Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook, sometimes Hootsuite features don't work because something has gone wrong with Twitter. Their scheduled messages fail to deliver to channels and they don't do a great job of telling you why unless you dig deeper.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Saving time is the biggest problem I've had solved with Hootsuite! I've noticed more time to create posts, reports, strategies, etc.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use EVERY feature! test out their new updates and ask questions. Trial and error is the best way.
Great starting point with a few hiccups
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite is extremely simple to set up individually without needing much research/training. It is also very user friendly, so adding multiple social media platforms is a breeze. This was an amazing help when creating a communication plan/strategy as you're able to schedule well out in advance and editing was very simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
When the scheduled post went to Facebook it would not always appear as intended. I ran into several issues with only having a link posted as opposed to the full preview with a picture that you get when you post or preschedule within Facebook itself.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With limited capacity within our office, Hootsuite allows us to have a platform for social media management across several outlets. I value the ease of editing content or pre-scheduled times.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is a great beginner tool, but I'd definitely look into other products if you're more advanced or already have experience with a social media management tool.

I love the reminders that it is time to post, and oftentimes I would forget without it.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like that it cannot automatically post to Instagram for my business.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Some issues in the past have been not remembering to post graphics and updates. it benefits me that I am able to have a laid out plan for my social media outlets.
