Easy to use, helps to monitor
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite is easy to use to schedule tweets. It is also great for monitoring Twitter as it can show mentions so you don't miss them.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am not able to send a tweet right away. There is a 5-10 minute delay.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Hootsuite to schedule Twitter posts so that I always have content going out.
Hootsuite is a useful tool however...
What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can mirror postings with my social media accounts across all platforms. It makes it quick and easy to build marketing campaigns for my clients. The login process is smooth, and setting up accounts is effortless.
What do you dislike about the product?
Its extremely basic. There are other programs on the market that offer a better experience with more features. For example, although Facebook has multiple areas to post: groups, events, pages, etc. Hootsuite is limited to pages. There are other programs out there that are less expensive that are able to post in every nook and cranny of Facebook, not just business pages.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite saves me a ton of time. Being self-employed, my time is my money. So Hootsuite surely pays for itself. I also enjoy being able to track marketing campaigns by simply logging into the account and seeing every post that I have made.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Give it a whirl and make sure to use a dummy account on all SM platforms to see how the posts appear to the end-user.

Easily manage all platforms. Its easy to see whats perform in well and respond quickly to what is not

I like the ease of use and the User Interface.

A little glitchy connecting accounts at times.

Getting info out to multiple demographics, which is resulting in more feet in the door.

Anything automated is great. It worked well from an automation standpoint.

Interface was terrible. Not user friendly and hard to navigate.

Hootsuite makes it so easy to schedule social posts weeks and months in advance. I love how reliable this tool is and that I don't always have to be checking to make sure it's working right!

I would love to see Instagram post scheduling added to this tool.

Being able to manage several accounts with this tool.
Great system for scheduling social media content with straight-forward visual UI.
What do you like best about the product?
The dashboard is very straightforward and allows me to crosspost easily simply by checking the tab for the respective social platform.

You don't have all the same options posting through Hootsuite as you would posting on the respective platform.

It helps me stay consistent with my social media posting because i can schedule each week's worth of posts each weekend.
Hootsuite is great for scheduling Tweets, but the interface needs some work.
What do you like best about the product?
I really like that I'm able to use Hootsuite to schedule multiple posts, on various platforms. It's a helpful tool that I'm able to utilize for my clients and for my own personal use when scheduling out posts from my editorial calendar. It's pretty easy to use, as well. It's also great that you can download the free Hootsuite plugin that allows you to "hootsuite" anything on the web. I also enjoy the built in analytics the application provides.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't really like the way the Hootsuite website looks, to be honest. It seems a little outdated and could use a facelift. There is also a monthly cost to using this application and I'm not sure that it's really worth that cost, to be honest. I'm currently looking into other platforms that do the same thing, but are perhaps designed a little better. I might be alone here, but as a design & marketing agency, aesthetics are extremely important to me. However, the application does what it says and so many others may not feel the same way that I do about that aspect.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm able to schedule out several posts on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram for myself, as well as for my clients which allows the implementation of our editorial calendars to be used easily and without much effort on the clients end. Hootsuite really does streamline this marketing process and is part of what makes it possible to produce daily content across multiple social media platforms for several of my clients. I definitely appreciate that for my own business purposes as well.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Hootsuite does what it says it will and is especially helpful if you have a content/editorial calendar to implement or f you want to increase your posting, without the hassle of having to remember to log in everyday. Planning these kinds of posts ahead of time has really helped me and my clients to grow our online presence without too much extra time spent on the process.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to easily schedule tweets and then review what you have scheduled and easily edit if needed. You can also track mentions, hashtags, and keywords with ease.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a way to filter out unnecessary mentions or keywords.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This gave us the ability to schedule our CEO's tweets while she can also log in and review them before they are published. Many people can contribute to the same account and then have others review, even remotely.

Decide on your top 3-5 hashtags and keywords.
