Fabulous
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ablility to schedule posts as far out as needed

It's to easy to accidentally post instead of schedule

Best for Twitter
What do you like best about the product?
I really like being able to track lists, hashtags, mentions, etc. all in one place for Twitter. As well as scheduling tweets. I would recommend Hootsuite to a friend or colleague if they are looking to use it for Twitter specifically.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Facebook and Instagram sections are far less useful. I am much more likely to schedule and track posts directly through Facebook Business Manager. Especially when sharing links. I wish you could schedule posts through Instagram like you can with Twitter, and not have to go in through the app at the time of the scheduled post.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping better track of Twitter activity.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to see all of our mentions from various platforms in once place.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't particularly like using Hootsuite for Facebook management or monitoring. I feel the actual Facebook site works better for this purpose.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Hootsuite to keep better track of our clients' mentions on social and to get a better idea about what consumers are saying about their brands. I also use the software to schedule tweets, which is helpful.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend Hootsuite as a great tool for monitoring and managing Twitter accounts. I still prefer to use Facebook directly for management and monitoring of that platform.
HootSuite Makes Social Media Management Easy!
What do you like best about the product?
HootSuite is simple to use and link various social media outlets in one location. I can schedule posts ahead of time to make social media management easy and less time consuming.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only complaint I have is that the scheduling drop down will sometimes disappear while I am typing my post. I do not lost any work, but it's annoying to have the drop down go away. The insertion of the shrunk link sometimes posts where I do not want it because of where my cursor is - so I have to remember to make sure I am at the end of the sentence so the link doesn't post in the middle of a word.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Great option to easily manage the various social media outlets. I don't have to remember to log in and post every day and can incorporate links, videos, and images easily.
Hootsuite Remembers When You Don't
What do you like best about the product?
I like that you can schedule a post on so many different platforms and it will automatically take care of it for you. You can also see responses/reactions/views with Hootsuite
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be frustrating when you can't post something because there are too many characters or it's not the correct format. Tailoring posts to meet each platforms requirements can be a chore at times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using Hootsuite, we can choose to post during peak internet user hours, therefore boosting the views. We can do this without even being in the office
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend educating yourself in how to use the software so that you don't become confused and frustrated using it. It has so many features I'm sure I didn't even know existed.
Social Media Made Easy
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to post to multiple accounts is such a time saver, and the ability to schedule them means that I can do it all at once so I can crank out the posts at the beginning of the month rather than posting daily.
What do you dislike about the product?
Interface is not intuitive or simple to use. It's not necessarily intuitive to find where you create a post, and then once you do it's not a very clean or streamlined process. It's somewhat of a dropdown box which I find finicky and annoying. It would be easier if there was something like in email platforms, with a simple "Compose" button that brought up a new smaller window to use rather than this weird drop down box.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having multiple social media accounts and having goals of posting every day is a very labor intensive initiative and is quite time consuming. Being able to schedule my posts all at once for the upcoming week, month, etc is such a time saver and so helpful. Also being able to post to all accounts at once from one location makes it even easier. I realized that I don't need to do it the old fashioned way by posting each day on each platform; I can do it all in a batch and send them off to each account. Such a lifesaver.

Easy to use, ability to send lots of posts at once.

Can get cluttered easily if you have a lot of pages to manage.

I LOVE HOOTSUITE!
What do you like best about the product?
My favorite thing about Hootsuite is how easy it is to use. It saves me time by allowing me to customize the lists and organizations I want to follow. It's easy to schedule tweets and I have never had any issues. I LOVE it! I also like how easy it is to track analytics and followers. Great for measuring engagement!
What do you dislike about the product?
I really don't have many complaints about Hootsuite. I have not tried to access my Hootsuite account on mobile so I can't speak to that. I have had just a couple times (over the 2 years I've used it) where my tweet has just published without me hitting enter or publish. However this is rare!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite allows me to manage multiple organizational twitter accounts easily and in one place. It saves me time by allowing me to schedule tweets in advance. I love the features!
Clunky
What do you like best about the product?
Multiple feeds were nice, but didn't allow for as many as I would've liked. The scheduling feature was easily the number one reason we began using Hootsuite. The "new followers" stream does come in handy when analyzing reach during specific times of year (for us as a college, it is application opening and new student move-in day).
What do you dislike about the product?
There weren't enough feeds possible, especially on the mobile platform. We have several keyword searches to monitor, and there simply wasn't enough space to have the number we needed. One key feature of twitter that we have begun using is the polling feature. Hootsuite does not include this capability, thus we are better served by using Twitter's own online platform. The algorithm it uses does not place priority on recent tweets within the streams either. The main reason to use a stream is to see the activity on the stream, preferably with most recent at the top. In addition, each time a hashtag is retweeted, it reappears in the stream. There should be a way to look for this and not include a single tweet multiple times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing multiple social media profiles was great and keeping track of a few keyword/hashtags was beneficial. That being said, the way of switching between them leaves something to be desired.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Give Hootsuite a try for at least a few months to see if it meets your company's needs. We found that managing directly through Twitter's interface online and in their app were better for our usage.
Hootsuite saves me time!
What do you like best about the product?
One thing I really like about Hootsuite is that I can manage both Facebook & Twitter, and multiple accounts in one location. It really allows me to see the full scope of a promotion once everything is inputed.
What do you dislike about the product?
A bulk upload and scheduler would be really helpful when doing large scale campaigns.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hours! Having one place to manage posts, feedback, and scheduling has really helped with the efficiency of managing social media.

If you're looking to manage multiple platforms in one space Hootsuite is very helpful. Or if you have multiple accounts you're managing this software gives you a central location to use for posting and feedback.
