What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to schedule posts for multiple platforms at the same time.
What do you dislike about the product?
When adding a group of images for a Facebook page, they end up posting as individual posts so there will be a handful in a row with just a single image instead of all images in one post.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scheduling posts for my site's social media profiles is much easier and more efficient.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are frequently tagging people or artists in your social media posts, this is a great way to go.

What do you like best about the product?
I've been using hootsuite since I was an intern in college. It's simple, user friendly, and suits all of my needs. I'm a one woman social media team for a small chocolate company and it's perfect.
What do you dislike about the product?
The analytics could be improved upon. We pay for a business account, but can't access all of the data because we aren't enterprise customers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Because I work alone, it helps me organize my posts, easily move them around, and have everything right in front of my eyes.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's perfect for small businesses. Try out a free account before paying for an account and you'll be hooked.

We don't have a dedicated social media specialist, so this helps to manage.

What do you like best about the product?
I personally like that HootSuite is a one stop and shop tool. You can connect all your social media sites on it and watch the data come rolling in. I like that it aggregates all our social media platforms data and trends in one spot. It makes it easy to look at, easy to communicate to other team members, and easy to delegate social media tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that LinkedIn has to be reconnected every now and then and that so many of the analytics are additional charges. Sometimes we have planned content to push to LinkedIn but because of the way it is set up, we will miss our push due to a need for reconnection. This can be extremely frustrating as we may miss a deadline. I also don't like the UX of the scheduling, it is not as streamlined or easy to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We solved the problem of spotting industry trends, where as before we were just guessing and skimming hashtags. The benefits we have come to realize include knowing our audience better and understanding what they are talking about. We can put certain hashtags in that we use and see whose also using it but more importantly, who the conversation starters are, who the influencers are, and what they are talking about. From this we can create better content that serves these influencers and our audience based on their own conversations.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you don't need this tool for Instagram and LinkedIn, or if you have a large budget and analytical data from social platforms is valuable to you, this is the correct platform to use. Other platforms may offer services for Instagram (Hootsuite does not) and/or LinkedIn in a streamlined way, however when it comes to working with social media platforms

What do you like best about the product?
I liked the format and layout of the program. After using multiple services, I enjoyed how easy hootsuite was for all ages.
What do you dislike about the product?
I did not like that some of its features were limited. I found that at times, it was not easy to calculate data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were utilizing hootsuite for artist social media campaigns. We realized that hootsuite was able to help us focus on data we were not able to attain from basic softwares in the past.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I think focus on spending time understanding the software before analyzing the data.

What do you like best about the product?
It's very intuitive and allows you manage your company's social media in one place which saves so much time and allows you to put more of that time into your posts. It also connects to more social media platforms than any other social media management tool/program that I've used.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hootsuite Analytics is a bit more challenging to understand, it has a longer learning curve. It can also be a bit pricier when you add more team members.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're solving the problem of social media engagement. Hootsuite allowed us to grow our following and get our name out there. Not only that, but having all of our platforms on one interface allows us to focus more on brand exposure and monitor our feeds.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take the time to really learn all that Hootsuite is capable of. You should also really go through the interface as well as the analytics to have a better understanding of how it all works, which will only allow you to better your social media management in the long run.

All-inclusive social media solution provides a great base for your whole strategy

What do you like best about the product?
A very robust free version of the program is perfect for small businesses and individuals, offering a far more powerful tool than just using the social networks alone. The only limitation I have run into is that you can only have a small number of networks, but it is enough for my purposes to monitor YouTube, Twitter, and Facebook. The option to auto-post from RSS feeds is especially useful, as this automates the process of tweeting and posting when new content is released. The column design on the dashboard is intuitive and easy to customize.
What do you dislike about the product?
The names of the reports are not immediately apparent. It takes some time to learn how the reporting part of the site functions and what data is reported on which report.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have created minor automation for my YouTube brand with Hootsuite's features, especially with the auto-schedule feature. This is useful for me to put in content as I think about it and then allow the auto-schedule feature to post it over time to keep up the engagement. Increasing the frequency and creativity of my posts in this way allows my channel to get wider exposure.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Hootsuite offers a very helpful and inexpensive social media certification program that is worth checking into when you begin using the product. Their insight is actually applicable to any social media marketing situation but is especially relevant on their own product. It is worth doing just to get a good overview of how companies have used all the features in the Hootsuite product.

What do you like best about the product?
The free version is perfectly functional, but the paid version offers opportunity for more accounts and and analytics.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've run into issues when working with a large number of accounts (10+) that slows down the service a bit, but I feel that this has been resolved promptly when customer care was looped in.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Curating content and scheduling for social media is an extremely timely process, but Hootsuite expedites the workflow by allowing you to schedule across multiple platforms at once.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can see all my social media platforms at once and click through them with ease. I manage 8 accounts so this makes a big difference.
What do you dislike about the product?
The program has a lot of technical difficulties and doesn't usually get updated when the social platform it hosts gets updated, making it not as compatible as it could be.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing all my accounts at once while also answering customer service questions.
