Efficient and easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
I liked how easy it was to schedule social media posts in advance. The software is very intuitive to figure out.
What do you dislike about the product?
I didn't like how expensive the analytics reports are. I would have bought more reports had they been more affordable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I save a lot of time by scheduling posts in advance and have more free time on weekends now. Before I would have to work on Saturday and Sunday mornings to post things to Facebook and Instagram. Now I don't even have to think about it.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try the mobile app. It's as easy to use as the website.
Hootsuite for great Social Media Content Planning
What do you like best about the product?
The calendar scheduling function. I am a visual person, seeing my planed posts on a calendar is fantastic.
What do you dislike about the product?
The calendar scheduling function is only available for paid subscribers. Also, they are making changes to that you can no longer choose the featured photo when pushing a URL link to Facebook. The first indexed image is often awful, and will not get me the response I desire!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Social media scheduling. The benefits are seeing better response/reach due to being able to use analytics in posting at specific times/dates.
It's not very user-friendly or intuitive. Also, it works very slowly.

How I can categorize everything and separate out my accounts.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not user-friendly, clunky to use, sometimes takes a while to load,

Makes it easy to monitor several social media accounts in one place.
Hootsuite for Social Media Management
What do you like best about the product?
I like Hootsuite for its simple and to-the-point user interface. It's easy to drag photos and select multiple accounts to post to at the same time, this is especially helpful when managing accounts for business' that have multiple locations but wish to share some of the same content across their location's pages and varying social accounts.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike HootSuite's mobile app as it is constantly crashing and loading slowly. This is especially annoying since the interface is required in order to schedule and post Instagram posts. I also wish there were an option to export analytics in the view that is first displayed with the more visual representation in addition to the standard graphs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having all accounts in one place is incredibly convenient when monitoring and creating posts for several accounts.I have been able to save a lot of time by scheduling posts weeks or even months ahead of time, it also provides a visual model that is easy to understand. It also makes it easier to monitor hashtags, follow users to grow a specific audience, and monitor other social pages. The auto schedule feature is also a great benefit and has worked well for me.
Get ahead of the Social Media Game!
What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can plan out my social media posts for the week and schedule them ahead of time. I also like that I can send the same post to many different social platforms at once!
What do you dislike about the product?
Interface can be a little confusing at first. Not a large learning curve, though!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite allows me to focus once during the week on social media. You can "set it & forget it" for the most part.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Go for it! If you work for a non-profit, there is discounted pricing.
Hootsuite is a HOOT
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite allows you to pre plan posts, that you would like to post later in time. This allows for ideal social media postings based on popular user times.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes a while to get it all set up. Hard to separate personal and work content
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has allowed for us to easily send out advertisements as needed. Able to manage more than one social media account in one place.
Simplicity
What do you like best about the product?
I love using Hootsuite to manage multiple social media platforms in one location. I can access my account on the computer or on my smartphone, so I can check statuses and make updates anywhere and anytime. It's also easy to share workload with coworkers, if needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only problem I've ever had with Hootsuite is that Twitter photos show up as links rather than an actual photo when posted.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite allows me to schedule and centralize social media management, which saves me a lot of time and effort on a daily basis. It also allows me to work with other team members from a centralized hub. I regularly monitor various news feeds and accounts to keep up with the industry, and I can do that all from one application.
The only social media management software I use
What do you like best about the product?
I mainly use Hootsuite to schedule posts for Twitter and Instagram. It is very easy to use and offers nice features like link shortening, drop and drop, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
The actual web design could use a refresher, looks a little bit old. The integration with Facebook pages isn't ideal. I still just schedule Facebook posts right on Facebook, not through Hootsuite.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to schedule posts to go out on a certain day at a certain time. Has made it much easier to manage social media on a daily basis.
Good experience with hootsuite
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can schedule out weeks ahead for content on social media.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish you could add on more accounts as a free user.

Time management. It allows me to worry about other work flows in the office
Useful But Costly
What do you like best about the product?
It's ability to manage all social media platforms in one place is excellent for streamlining. I was using it for a production with long weekend hours and multiple simultaneous events, and the ability to schedule social media was a great time saver. It also was great for keeping multiple employees in multiple locations on the same page.
What do you dislike about the product?
Far, far too many upcharges. The free version is not that useful - the pro version on it's face is not terribly expensive, but everything seems to cost extra. Extra for shortened urls, extra for specific custom analytics. It reached a point where everything we found most useful cost extra, and that cost went up significantly over the time we were using it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It was helpful for monitoring keywords and analytics could offer feedback on what the best schedules and creative directions for social media were. It also assisted with communication, as have multiple productions in multiple places at the same time. This helped with brand consistency.
