What do you like best about the product?
Scheduling posts, analytics and insight feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a few hick-ups but nothing too detrimental.

To post at times when your audience is most engaged.

What do you like best about the product?
This social media management tool has a lot of options- you can queue things for a variety of platforms, at a variety of times, in multiple languages and time zones.
What do you dislike about the product?
However, the amount of options given is overwhelming and things can easily be messed up due to the high amount of customization. I think there are simpler platforms to do the same functions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Since I work for a global company, we have marketing teams all over the world, so time zones and languages are things that vary greatly. This helps us to monitor and track all of our social media efforts.

Research and learn the product completely before use.

I wish that I could post in events via Hootsuite and schedule posts within events as well

I only need to type up one post that will be visible in three separate places

What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy the ability to manage several social media sites with just a few clicks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some limitations of the site include its inability to shorten facebook posts into tweets and difficulty linking up several accounts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a freelance marketer, it is easy to explain to clients the benefits of using hootsuite in-house and allow me time to focus on other marketing / communication outlets like personalized graphic design rather than social media posts.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Not fantastic for those clients who are not tech savy. We did not stay with Hootsuite because it posed as more difficult for the traditional social media user.

Ease of use, faster cross network streamlining

Price point jumps too drastically, isn't quite as lucrative for small businesses.

Streamlining between social media panels. Finding metrics for multiple social media interfaces.
Simple Tool For Social Media Monitoring
What do you like best about the product?
This is a very simplified platform that anyone can use. I consult other social team members, interns & clients on how to use the platform to listen to their audience & understand where UGC and other content is coming from. The analytics are basic also & make it easy for anyone to understand, even starters.
What do you dislike about the product?
For some skill levels, the software isn't totally advanced like other social listening tools or analytics platforms. It's more like a tool for small business owners to keep up to date with their customers rather than a bigger business or brand to manage a reputation & tons of content on a daily basis.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's not super advanced in terms of marketing tools & analytics. However, it's a simple way for business owners or starter social media managers to keep track of brand content, hashtags, posting, photos, and responses online (community management). It's a great beginner's too, but would recommend additional or different software for more advanced social managers.

This is a great starter product for social monitoring & listening. Very simple for anyone to use, but might not be advanced enough for someone looking for specific data & analytics. Could be a bit more organized but overall a good product for starter social managers, people busy with other tasks that just want a quick follow up, and a quick way to get in touch with customers.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to configure and to use even for people not enough skilled.
What do you dislike about the product?
Prices are not so cheap but affordable if you have many account to manage.

Hootsuite, A Social Media Personal Assistant
What do you like best about the product?
With so many social media platforms, and the fact that most web publishers use more than one account, Hootsuite makes it easy to be consistent on each platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
Ease of use can be tricky, and ability to manage numerous accounts can also be cumbersome.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Time saving is the primary benefit from Hootsuite, which results in increased productivity.
HootSuite Makes Managing Social Media Simple
What do you like best about the product?
I love being able to manage all of my personal and business social media accounts through one platform. I like that it's intuitive and the user interface reminds me a lot of WordPress, so if you're familiar with the WP back end, using HootSuite should be simple. I also find the auto-scheduler to be extremely useful for times when I know I will be busy and don't want my social media presence to lag.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, the only thing I dislike is not being able to control the appearance as much as I would like. It's a small thing that most people probably won't care about though.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My online presence and my brand are pretty closely tied, so being able to manage every platform I'm on from one application saves me a lot of time and stress. The customizability of the streams and feeds allows me to navigate through posts much more easily as well.
Social Media Scheduling
What do you like best about the product?
I like the control Hootsuite gives in scheduling posts. I can count on Hootsuite to post appropriately to social media without fail.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish Hootsuite had more control over the smart scheduling features. You can schedule a post for a time when your audience is most active, but don't have complete control over when that is or what window of time it goes out in. It would also be helpful to have additional analytics information.
