Easy to use and helpful.
What do you like best about the product?
I found the site easy to navigate and use. There are handy tutorials available to walk you through the process of creating posts, setting them to auto-post, or post in advance. I'm able to link all my social media accounts both personal and work associated ones. It's not often that I have a glitch or issue with posting.
What do you dislike about the product?
I did have an issue with billing. I sent an email to the team and received a quick response and break down.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I haven't had any business problems with it. It's benefited me in a lot of ways because it's super easy for me to do. I can take just an hour a day or even two if I want to and have a week's worth of postings set, scheduled and ready to go. I check daily to make sure that the posts have gone through.
Useful but not always reliable

It's great to be able to view and publish from all of our social media accounts in one place

Sometimes scheduled posts fail to publish but it's not always clear as to why or how to fix it

I'm the only person in our organization who manages our social media engagement, so this is a serious time saver for me
Recommendations to others considering the product:
We have the discounted version of the software as a small non-profit but the full paid version has some attractive features
Solid choice for a free social media aggregator platform
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it allows you to schedule tweets and gives you basic analytics on Twitter, FB, and Instagram.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the clunky user interface of it all, but that is to be expected with a free product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We don't have the most reliable wifi (firewall), so Hootsuite has been a great way for us to schedule social media posts when they need to go out.
User friendly and visually apealing
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy was to get started and to schedule my post. I use 6 different social media accounts so being able to draft, schedule and prep content is awesome. Also that it will shrink your URL's this is vital.
What do you dislike about the product?
I struggle with retweeting things on Hootsuite and at times find myself just going to the social media page itself because Hootsuite isn't able to recognize a name or company.

Organization and planning
Very convenient, helps build a better connection without high maintenance

HootSuite helps me plan social media in advance, giving me the time to focus on other facets of my job. The design of the site is very intuitive and user-friendly, making it easy for technologically challenged people to understand.
What do you dislike about the product?
Content publishing and curation could be smoother.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
At a busy law firm, HootSuite allows us to maintain a a constant social media presence without constantly demanding our attention.
Scheduling is my Jam
What do you like best about the product?
I love being able to schedule Tweets ahead of time and just forget about it.
What do you dislike about the product?
For what I use it for, it's actually pretty comprehensive.

Being able to easily monitor mentions for my company
Adequate features, adequate design
What do you like best about the product?
I was really thrilled at how easy it was for me to manage multiple social networks and post content that was formatted correctly to each.
What do you dislike about the product?
I thought that the design could use a little freshening up- it was just a little outdated and less than stunning.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've saved a vast amount of time and frustration from having to cross-post to other SM networks, as well as the ability to schedule posts in advance.

Do your research and identify the product that works best for your individual needs. HS worked great for us because of its feature set and integration across platforms.
Great product
What do you like best about the product?
I like it because because you can schedule posts for different social media sites for free. You can also monitor trends and different hashtags. For instance, I want to stay up-to-date on industry trends. For instance, I work with learning disabilities. I want to know what news is surrounding #learningdisabilities, #adhd, #autism etc. I also schedule my tweets and facebook posts through hootsuite. I use it for both my personal and professional work.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have anything to complain about other than when you scroll over the area to schedule a post. I hate that if you accidentally scroll away (without clicking), the scheduler goes away which is annoying. Also, I wish I could filter what I'm monitoring. For instance, I work at a learning disabilities focused nonprofit in the US. However, when I do social media monitoring for learning disabilities, a lot of information comes out of the United Kingdom because of Mencap. I wish I could filter out UK posts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I think we aren't solving "business problems..." It's just making life easier by scheduling posts for two of our social media sites at the same time. Yes, I can schedule our posts directly on Facebook, however, you can't on Twitter. So why not save time and do two social media sites at the same time?
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's free and it's easy. If you pay, you can have more features, however, if you are using this for a small business or for your personal life, then you shouldn't need to pay for it.
Worth Learning
What do you like best about the product?
Able to see all your streams in one place as well as your scheduled posts.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can get a little cluttered but you can minimize the issue

Great Product to use for social media!
What do you like best about the product?
It makes it incredibly easy to schedule social media posts for the future and the program will post for me. It condenses links so you can keep character count low for platforms like Twitter. I can monitor my scheduled posts, my profile, my feed, my events, where we have been mentioned and so much more!
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally, the program doesn't post. I would guess every 1 out of 500 posts do not get posted. For Instagram, I dislike that it doesn't post it automatically. You have to go through the Instagram app to do any filters you want and copy your caption into the text box.

I can spend an hour scheduling social media posts and not think about them for the next week or two. Instead of checking and posting social media everyday, I can spend a solid chunk of time and schedule everything out in advanced
