Gets the job done but doesn't go above and beyond
What do you like best about the product?
There are so many features - I really like that I can track feeds of different hashtags

What do you dislike about the product?
It's not intuitive, there are too many features. I don't like how the draft box closes up if I do not hover on it. I don't like that the feeds show retweeted content over and over again. I think that it is not really simplified enough. It's not really clear for someone who isn't already familiar with the industry.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scheduling tweets and posts is useful. I can create different tabs to keep track of different things.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Are you just starting out? Hootsuite is a bit more complex then it needs to be.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that you are able to manage multiple social media platforms in one, centralized location. It enables eased, efficient, clear, and productive social media work that would otherwise take much more time, having to jump between platforms, login, and post. I love that Hootsuite allows you to personalize the steams you want for each network you manage.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some quirky features with Facebook, in particular; I use Hootsuite for mainly Facebook and Twitter. It would be great to be able to respond to messages on Facebook through Hootsuite. It is a bit unclear how to share a Hootsuite team backend with additional team members.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are mainly trying to reach more people, continue our online and social presence and expand it.

Try it out! See how it works for you. I think, from experience, it will benefit you, your company, and your product!
Excellent To Manage Multiple Social Media Accounts and Mentions
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite allows me to keep up with everything which is happening in our social media accounts. I often use the possibility to track mentions to our brand.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love to use its reporting capability but this are is extremely expensive compared to other solutions in the market. A small company could be tempted to switch to other product because of this.

I love how all encompassing HootSuite is with regards to the social networks it covers.

I am not a huge fan of the high premium you pay for HootSuite

Definitely get enterprise if you can afford it.

What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite is a fantastic easy to use tool for social media automation. It's great for freelancers or teams alike; enables multiple accounts, and multiple social integrations; a great chrome extension and mobile app.
What do you dislike about the product?
Haven't yet found many frustrations with Hootsuite!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The benefits of hootsuite are huge for a small business that does not yet have the need or budget for Hubspot or Marketo.
Hootsuite is simple, not expensive (with a decent free version too) and I recommend it to all my small business clients, or to Cobsultants managing multiple client campaigns.

The ability to post information on all social media stite at one time. i can also review how postings are fairing at one time.

I like that all my social platforms are in one place, although I use it mostly for Twitter. But I like how easy it is to see and track both my activity and engagement.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that you can't schedule retweets. I currently use Buffer for this but would prefer to have it all in one place.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm trying to increase awareness and engagement of our brand.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would definitely recommend Hootsuite because it makes it easy to plan ahead and monitor engagement.

It is not compatible with Instagram in the same way as it is with Facebook. Not as user friendly for Instagram users.

I have been solving the problem of not being consistent in media presence.

Please create it to be more Instagram friendly.
Fantastic for automation and creating a content calendar for business small business owners
What do you like best about the product?
That you can link multiple accounts and it keeps track of your character count for each. It is a wonderful tool for automation and I recommend for small business owners who have to do their own marketing use it as a content calendar base for them.

What do you dislike about the product?
I have also used buffer and I like that buffer allows more segmentation of the channels so you can post all at once, but personalize each message for the channel it is going to go out with. I would love for this to be integrated into Hootsuite as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I work with small business owners who do not have the ability to hire someone to do their marketing and also don't want to feel like they have to sit on Facebook all day to get their marketing done.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use it as a tool for automation and content creation, but remember that you need to also have spontaneous posts and you need your content to look native for each channel is goes out to. If your marketing strategy is just to post the same content and verbiage across all channels, your marketing will not be optimized for each channel and you will look lazy.
