Excellent tool for marketing
What do you like best about the product?
I love that you can integrate multiple social networks and post to all of them at the same time. Also you can monitor and do follow ups all at once without having to leave the interface. Many problems, one solution. You can manage as many social websites as you desire without the pain.

What do you dislike about the product?
Perhaps I would make the interface more intuitive and more user friendly. Also posting into different places might not seem that intuitive at first. Also, I would love to see more individual reports from the different social networks our company uses. A more analytical perspective, which could help us make more accurate decisions in our company, based on what our customers are looking for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One person can control all my companies social networks from one single place. Not only that, you can also manage, view reports which will help to run a successful social media campaign.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You should really go for this tool, it simplifies your marketing and social media management. In my company, we do it ourselves. With this tool we dont have to hire expensive social management companies. Also, the most popular social platforms can be integrated into hootsuite, so if we want to open new social media profiles on different networks we can do so and still make it easy for us to manage our companies marketing through social media.
Makes life as a 1 person Social Media team so much easier
What do you like best about the product?
Ability to schedule posts across multiple platforms if you want to. I love the publisher view so I can see what I have scheduled for the upcoming week at a glance and see how they are spaced out.
What do you dislike about the product?
I tried the Instagram scheduling function and it kept deleting my caption. It would be nice if it would work correctly because I'm not supposed to work outside my scheduled work hours anymore.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Just streamlining my workload. I don't have to manually open Twitter and post every time I have something to post. I do really only use it for Twitter, but I like that it has the option of being used for multiple platforms. The dashboard for monitoring is really nice too.

I am solving the problem of having to post to numerous social media outlets by signing into each account. I have saved a great amount of time through this program.

I love being able to schedule posts ahead of time. This feature helps me stay organized.

Not being able to have scheduled Instagram posts automatically post without me having to do it.

Saving a lot of time. Staying extremely organized. Posting at the correct times, not just when I'm available.

Great tool to facilitate media management
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite gives me the ability to quickly manage numerous social media accounts at once, pre-schedule posts on multiple media platforms as well as giving me the ability to search by hashtags, easily follow and respond to messages and comments and see how my posts are doing. This is extremely valuable due to my very busy schedule and having to manage multiple social media platforms at once on a daily basis.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not yet encountered anything I dislike about using Hootsuite.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It saves me a lot of time by being able to manage multiple accounts at once instead of having to go to each social media site separately. It also helps me maintain an overview that I can then quickly pass on to colleagues in my organization.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're looking for a tool to manage multiple social media platforms at once, I recommend Hootusite. It was also very easy to learn and get used to and allows to make changes to which features you want to use easily even with the very basic plan that I use.

What do you like best about the product?
I leave for 2 months every year at my job. But I can still manage the social calendar (at least with posting). This makes my life so much easier. Love that Instagram is included.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't really dislike anything.. I used to hate that it didn't include Instagram. That would be my only gripe.

What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite made managing 4-5 social media sites that my company used very easy. Rather than having to login to every site, paste the post and upload the media or images again, this site lets you post to any and all of your sites in one step. Want to post different things? You can still do that simply by selecting each site.
Viewing our feeds became simple by having them line up all on one screen. When someone messaged us, we were alerted here. This made it 1000x easier to keep on top of incoming questions/posts with a very small team.

What do you dislike about the product?
As someone who was new to this type of a offering, it took a bit to understand how to use it and get all of our sites reconnected in such a way that Hootsuite could benefit us. Definitely a struggle at first.

Hootsuite Frees Up Time
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of scheduling posts to Twitter and between multiple accounts really frees up a lot of time.
What do you dislike about the product?
The free version I was using was just right for me, however they recently made it so you could only schedule up to 30 tweets at a time. While we do now have to pay for the ease we had before, it seems as thought it's worth the price.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have limited resources being a nonprofit and this really helps us better utilize our time. It also helps us upkeep the cadence of posting on our social spaces whereas before we were sporadic in posting.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I think if you're not a huge organization the new $19 a month plan will work fine. However, you will have to purchase the more expensive plan if you need more than one user. I believe that plan is $99 a month.
Simple to use
What do you like best about the product?
Simple for our small-scaled museum to keep track of multiple streams.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it was possible to have a few more streams at the basic plan--nonprofits utilize programs like this because we simply don't have the funds to do otherwise, and it would be nice to be able to use it a bit more.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Able to quickly monitor multiple feeds. Scheduling of posts cuts down on our time spent as well.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Hootsuite is the ability to schedule posts and forget about them. I like that I can see all platforms in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that now the free version will only let me schedule out 25 posts. Also, the app could use a lot of work. One time when I opened the app and made changes, it deleted everything from my desktop account. Also, many times my scheduled posts won't post. It's also very hard to search for specific accounts within the system. For instance, I will want to retweet something from a partner's account, but unless the just tweeted it so that it shows up at the top of the dashboard, I can never find it.

I use this as my social media schedule.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
We're about to start looking into a paid version of Hootsuite because the free version only allows 20 or 25 posts to be scheduled. I'm sure that's the goal of Hootsuite is to get you to pay for it, but now after using them for 5 years I will be shopping around. It works well but it's not so great that if I'm going to pay for something I wouldn't double check other software. Plus, with Facebook's updated scheduling system, I now use that since I can get so much more targeted with my posts than I can with Hootsuite. So do I really want to pay for something that I'm only using for one platform? That's the question I will be looking into in the next couple of months.
