HootSuite is Helpful for Metrics and For Posting to Several SM Accounts Simultaneously
What do you like best about the product?
HootSuite is free, is a good intro to looking at social media metrics, and for posting simultaneously to multiple social media accounts. It also shows you both your Twitter feed as well as all of your posts. It makes it easy to manage spam posts to your account.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not intuitive how to best use HootSuite for analytics. I'd like to see a demo - like a video that shows you how to best utilize HootSuite.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used it to track metrics on Titter: Followers, retweets, etc ...
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a nice platform to use if you have knowledge about how to best use metrics.
Quick, intuitive Social Media scheduling
What do you like best about the product?
I like that you can schedule across multiple platforms at the same time - we use Facebook and Instagram and are usually posting the same stuff there.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface is a little clunky at times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Streamlining our social media presence.

The interface takes some getting used to but is overall easy to use and really convenient.

Great for scheduling social media posts especially if you are a one-man-marketing show.
Great for managing a lot of accounts
What do you like best about the product?
It's really affordable for managing so many accounts. It's easy to use and view multiple accounts at a time. It links with pretty much every kind of social media platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that I can't duplicate a post. There isn't a way to view past posts that include images. You also can't create a posting schedule with set times that posts will be scheduled. All other platforms I've used do allow posting schedules.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a social media manager, this is a huge help for managing multiple accounts for multiple clients, for an affordable price. I would have to sign up for multiple accounts of other platforms in order to host this many social media accounts.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're managing a lot of social media accounts it's a no brainer to use this platform. If you're just using it for your personal business, I'd search for something else. It's a great way to keep track of all communication on your platforms. You're able to see mentions, and recent posts on the dashboard.

That you have all social media accounts in one place and have the ability to manage them simultaneously. Also, that you can schedule posts ahead of time.

You don't get all of the Twitter features (posts you may like, posts you may have missed).

What do you like best about the product?
I like that all of my social media apps can be found in the same place. It is pretty affordable whether you have one user or multiple users. I like that you can pre-write responses to be posted to your page.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be confusing when you first use it, however once you get used to it, it is pretty convenient.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It benefited us before greatly to pre-write responses so they can be posted to our page without us having to physically sit in front of a computer.

What do you like best about the product?
The convienience of scheduling social media content to all my platforms and for all the accounts I run in one place
What do you dislike about the product?
Having to go in and manually post instagram picture takes away from the ease of it
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It saves me a lot of time but I often have failed posts

What do you like best about the product?
I like the streams, and having everything in one place. I like to be able to see mentions and retweets easily. I like being able to schedule and hold drafts to share across team members. I like getting the email update to see top tweets and trends. I like the training offered as well. VERY helpful!
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes when posting, it gets glitchy- takes a while to load mentions or is difficult to go back and edit as I am typing. I have to clear the tweet instead. Also wish that I could click on the mentions as I am typing to ensure I have the right person.
I also dislike having to log into Instagram to post, but I think that is IG's issue, not Hootesuite.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I solve the issue of needing to schedule tweets, measure success, track which tweets do well. I like that my teammates and I can all see what is being scheduled so as not to overlap- and so I can edit tweets when my coworkers are drafting tweets.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure to get buy in from other coworkers and bosses who are posting on brand's social. Some of the features are only helpful if the team is using them.

Overall, very happy with Hootsuite
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to pre-schedule posts for multiple channels in one spot is very helpful and allows me to streamline things and plan my week of posts in advance. I typically will schedule the bulk of my week on Wednesdays because it is my planning day so that way even if the rest of the week gets busy, I don't have to worry about my social platforms outside of things that arise unexpected.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, the formatting when posting to LinkedIn or Facebook is off, so I mostly use it for Twitter. Also, they seem to have more "glitchy" days than I would expect where I will get logged off multiple times in a short time frame. They do have a support Twitter account but I haven't been overly impressed with their response times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a small marketing team, so this allows me to save time and still get content out when I want to. It is less expensive (free) than hiring an agency or an additional employee to help manage our social platforms. This helps us keep our budget in check.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Overall, if you are a small marketing department, I can't recommend Hootsuite enough. It makes my job easier and considering there are only two of us in my department and I'm the one primarily responsible for social media management, Hootsuite is like having a third employee or an intern.
