What do you like best about the product?
I love that it allows me to knock out many posts at a time so then I have time to focus on other aspects of my job.
What do you dislike about the product?
That it does not post to Instagram for you! ARGH.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Social media engagement
Recommendations to others considering the product:
investigate how important instagram is to your media use, and consider getting additional services such as Grum

What do you like best about the product?
Scheduling, analytics, and the educational opportunities are the major benefits for me. I'm the only communications staff in the department and it makes my life a lot easier. Our board loves the reporting capabilities, which we never used before.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like the analytics to be more intuitive and easier to communicate to staff outside of the communications department.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am a one person communications department for a rapidly growing nonprofit. Hootsuite allows me to quickly and easily manage our social strategy.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can access all of my social media accounts at one place and post on each account using only one website. It allows me to save time by not having to switch back and forth between accounts to post and monitor social media accounts. I like that it is somewhat customize-able, too. Scheduling and automation are also very helpful to only have to think about posting something once and not having to remember specific dates or times to post items.
What do you dislike about the product?
The visual aesthetics are not super user-friendly, however it is manageable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ease of ability to post on all social media accounts on one website. Saves time when using scheduling and automation. Monitoring and social listening are also easy to do on Hootsuite. Analytics are extremely helpful when deciding how to improve upon social media plans.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to schedule posts for later dates and times is really helpful. Also, monitoring social networks is handy on the platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
List building on Hootsuite isn't great - it's good for monitoring, but could use some help with list building and outreach.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a small team - it's a great resource when one person is out and we need a centralized platform to schedule social posts.

Twitter and Facebook scheduling with multiple accounts

What do you like best about the product?
I can schedule posts in advance across multiple twitter and facebook accounts/pages without having to log into multiple accounts. I can also see mentions, retweets, shares, etc. from multiple accounts in comparison to one another through the analytics tab. Can compare effectiveness of different campaigns easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
Cannot use with instagram, and cannot upload videos to twitter and/or facebook. It tries, but always returns an error that it could not process the video. It also seems to make multiple copies when posting to facebook with multiple pictures. I.E. when posting with 2 photos, it posts twice; once with photo1, and again with photo2.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have multiple campaigns that we're running simultaneously, and I can schedule a week's worth (or more - there doesn't appear to be a limit to how far out and how many you can pre-schedule) or more for one campaign at a time, so there's no worry about remembering the day/time of to send out from Campaign A or B, etc.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great for dealing with multiple twitter and/or facebook counts. Not great for instagram or videos attached to tweets.

What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite is very useful for scheduling posts on our social media accounts. I love being able to quickly upload images, as well. The streams are extremely useful for me to see users of Instagram talking about my account's keywords; I am then able to follow them and generate extremely relevant followers for my travel-based account.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I could schedule posts for every Monday, every Tuesday, etc. We have the same post each day of the week and there isn't a way to use Hootsuite to bulk schedule unless you purchase a higher level account. However, in forums I have read, it doesn't seem that even with the paid versions of Hootsuite is it possible to bulk upload for posts that need to be done on a certain schedule.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite is saving us a lot of time! Uploading posts and scheduling via Hootsuite is enabling us to plan posts for awhile each week but not have to work on it each day. I also love the streams option which is great for showing me users who are talking about the things I am posting about. It is then very easy to follow these specific users and grow my following with only people who have the interests about which I am speaking in my social media campaigns.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Hootsuite is a great resource and can help you to meet your social media goals.

What do you like best about the product?
The biggest feature that stands out to me is the ability to mass upload over multiple sites.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only part that I don't like is a lack of mobile app to change or edit all pages.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allowing myself more time to create and and interact with my customers is priceless and Hootesuite allows me to do that.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can easily broadcast a message across multiple social media platforms and profiles. Attaching media and scheduling is a breeze. The analytic tools are very helpful, easy to use and easy enough for others to understand without much explanation.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't a way to create a stream of all your Facebook pages for example. Our organization has over 25 pages, and it would be nice to just have a centralized stream of all page activity so I could ignore all the notifications on Pages Manager. We also had some persistent difficulties with account permissions. Also, using Instagram on it is a complete pain.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were struggling to broadcast information of all pages we own. It was a slow a manual process previously, now it is a simple automated one. We are putting out a lot more content on a much more regular basis.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would love to see more social media listening tools. The current stream system is too segmented. I need a stream of streams for multiple Facebook pages, for example.

What do you like best about the product?
I really like that it reminds you to post on Instagram (or other social media platform). I also like that everything is right there on the dashboard for visibility.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that it is hard to use right away and takes some video tutorials to figure out
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have realized that hoot suite is really beneficial to helping me not feel so overwhelmed with the social media posting experience. I don't have to think about what to post all day long.
