Easy to use and customize
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to schedule out posts and move forward with our week, having confidence in the delivery of our posts.
What do you dislike about the product?
The integration with Instagram just isn't quite there yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping a consistent rhythm to our posts.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is a great platform for creating consistency, particularly in facebook or Twitter promotions or postings. It still lacks some of the functionality I need in Instagram, but overall it is a helpful tool in online and Social Management!
Great for scheduling tweets
What do you like best about the product?
The interface is easy to use and very easy to learn
What do you dislike about the product?
When I was using Hootsuite, users weren't able to schedule Instagrams or imbed videos in scheduled posts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps save time by allowing you to schedule content weeks or months in advance.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Hootsuite is a great simple tool for scheduling basic social media. However, if your content contains a lot of graphics or videos, it is difficult (and sometimes not possible) to schedule posts with imbedded content and Hootsuite will automatically turn your files into links.

So far I have found nothing that I dislike about this product.

I wish they had a setting where you could post to a neighborhood social media platform like NextDoor which we use a lot in the city.

Benefits are I can manage several pages at once and don't worry about dropping the ball.

I would recommend this product because it allows you to step away from work as a social media manager and feel like you still aren't missing a post.

Makes Social Media Simple
What do you like best about the product?
I love the scheduling feature, Instagram mobile app integration, and the dashboard analytics. It's great.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't really find anything I dislike about this product. I've had nothing but good experiences with Hootsuite and their customer support. It is a dense program in terms of learning how to use it, but I haven't had any trouble beyond the initial learning curve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It gives us one solid place to schedule media and collaborate. It makes keeping on track of analytics a breeze.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use the 30 day free trial to figure out if you need all of the features. If you're a small organization, you may not need all of the features Hootsuite offers.
Social Media Management made easy!
What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can view multiple pages at once - it makes monitoring 20 social media channels easier!
What do you dislike about the product?
I have noticed sometimes that if another user takes the individual page it's removed from my account - makes it hard to recommend the service for my colleagues!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have 21 Facebook pages and this provides a quick way to monitor and review content on multiple pages in one service.
Crucial for a one-person team!
What do you like best about the product?
The best part of about Hootsuite for me, is that as a one-person Marketing team I can schedule posts in advance. My job has tons of busy and slow times so during the slower times I can schedule out posts in advance as opposed to lacking in social media presence during our busier times when I don't have time to create content.
What do you dislike about the product?
One of the things I dislike the most about the multi-channel publishing, is that I have to know the Twitter handle ahead of time. Hootsuite can't search the platform for me and find the necessary handle like Twitter would do if I was on their platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm able to publish more content with less resources. Additionally it's easier to cross-pollenate content at different dates/times since I can schedule it out.
Hootsuite was wasy and fun to use!
What do you like best about the product?
I liked being able to submit a large amount of tweets in a timely manner. It helped manage my workload effectively. Thanks to Hootsuite, time management as Founder/Co-Producer of PRJCTHNK was a breeze! I was able to plan for social engagement and marketing thoroughly, which boosted our number of followers. Live tweeting can be a lot of work, so Hootsuite definitely took off some of that load.

It was extremely easy to use, so I didn't have any issues,

Audience engagement, increase in number of followers, effective marketing and branding strategies, etc.

Definitely use this, no matter how much or how little you need to use social media for work!
Not my cup of tea
What do you like best about the product?
Ability to monitor and post on multiple mediums on one tab, ability to have reports automatically emailed to you
What do you dislike about the product?
The service is not reliable as the connections to the services would routinely get interrupted, the reports are not all that customizable and therefore not really all that helpful, they lock you into a contract and are a little bit shady about the terms (we were forced to continue using their services when we were ready to quit because the fine print of their contract specified that we needed to give them 60-days notice if we wanted to terminate our agreement, even though we had satisfied the agreement)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were able to boost our Instagram follower numbers by watching who mentioned our brand but didn't tag our account. By liking their posts, they would see our account and usually followed us.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Just weigh the benefits with the price. In my opinion, it was a bloated app that cost us too much time (to learn) and money.
