Useful for Twitter
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can combine tweets and shoot them out from more than one account at once. I also like the feature of splitting posts. In addition, I like that you can see multiple incoming tweet streams for your various accounts.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that this platform only works for Twitter. I have used Social Newsdesk in the past, which lets you use Twitter and Facebook, but it still wasn't a great program. I prefer HootSuite. If they find a way to include Facebook, I would use this for work often.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how hootsuite's dashboard has been setup. Its is much more simple than that of competition in rignite which I also tried. Hootsuite also offers a wealth of training tools for new marketers to understand.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like the stream setup function I would prefer a single stream setup for all media similar to rignite in this regard. I don't like to the post to instagram feature now that Instagram requires you to use a mobile phone to upload to instagram. Because of this setup I always have to be available via my phone to post.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to post to all my social channels simultaneously with ease. The dashboard for scheduling has saved me from tons of individual posting dates. And with multiple clients using social this is a life saver.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend improving the Instagram integration in hootsuite. I would also recommend a better price on the agency subscription. If there is a desktop version of hootsuite I have yet to find it and would prefer that rather than the online version.
Simple and convenient
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to see all your social feeds, as well as hashtag feeds, in one organized place is extremely helpful. I also think that the free version of Hootsuite is perfect for small organizations like my own -- no need to pay for an exorbitant amount of accounts.
What do you dislike about the product?
The inability to schedule Instagram posts. It simply reminds you to post on Instagram; it doesn't automate scheduling for IG. They give a valid reason for this but it is still inconvenient nonethless. The free version, I will say, is limited because you cannot see all your analytics. I still stick to the analytics in Facebook and Instagram. I don't use Hootsuite's analytics. I would also like to use the Organization feature, but I cannot, as I need to upgrade my plan.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Through Hootsuite, I have found multiple fake accounts of the institution I work at. I was able to make sure these accounts were shut down. I also engaged a larger community by constantly monitoring the #sierracanyonschool feed. We have also become more active on Twitter, and have been more able to engage with folks via Twitter.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
My experience is limited to usage for smaller organizations, but I highly recommend this product.

I like that you can manage multiple platforms. I do social media marketing for 4 different companies and this helps me to consolidate each of them.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that Instagram has to be separately authorized. I wish it would automatically post like it does for Facebook & Twitter.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to custom schedule posts is very helpful to me, so I am able to plan ahead. That way if I have a particularly busy day, the sites do not have to suffer.

Does a lot but not everything. Won't replace the features of the original interface, particularly in regards to formatting.
Easy, Breezy, Social Media
What do you like best about the product?
Multiple users at once, able to monitor multiple channels at once, basically a multitasker for the already hectic social media manager.
What do you dislike about the product?
The fact that is not as effective as others, In certain platforms we cannot add certain attachments, be sure to do it manually or go back and edit...then again, double the work.

This is great for small businesses. It is easy to use and track the different channels. Also, great when managing and levering social media content.

What do you like best about the product?
It makes it simple to post to multiple platforms without having to log into them individually. This is especially helpful when posting to social media from events.
What do you dislike about the product?
You can't post multiple images to Instagram from hootsuite (even though that feature is now available in Instagram) and if you post multiple images to Facebook, it posts separately instead of putting all the images together with the caption.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Engaging with our followers on the go. I don't have to be tied to my computer to like, share and comment. I've found that we're able to increase our followership by posting more regularly through Hootsuite.

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate how user friendly this product is. I have been able to adapt to updates easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it were simpler to generate reports.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that it is easy to schedule out most of my social media platforms so that I don't have to worry about posting directly to the individual sites every day.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that my Instagram posts don't automatically post and that I still have to go into the app and push the post out at the appropriate time
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest problem is that it won't push out my Instagram posts. However, it has allowed us to plan ahead with our social media.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The toughest thing for us is that you still have to manually push out Instagram posts at the appropriate time, other than that we have been very happy with Hootsuite.
