Super easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
I love how organized it is! It's very easy to use and very user friendly. I never have any issues getting to where I need to go in the platform
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it is difficult to post because the window is so sensitive. I also cannot access in depth reports because of my subscription. Why should I have to pay $500 a year for a small business to learn about the metrics of customers?
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Social reach! I have realized what times are the best to post for various different platforms & have tailored our social media around it.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Pay for a basic plan. Honestly! It will save you so much time and energy having the extra features.

Kind of confusing interface and hard to see what you've previously posted

Engaging consumers, friends, or followers through this wizard. It makes you look extremely active, and you are extremely active.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use it during festivals like sxsw and coachella, tech conferences, CES's etc.

What do you like best about the product?
the ability to schedule way ahead on posts. i can match my inspirations with the times that people would see them. much more effective than the random 2am post. if it were not for hootsuite i would miss my target audience entirely. also since scheduled posts are not instant, i do not run into the issue of putting the toothpaste back in the tube, i have a little time if i need to fine tune the message. also for quick thoughts, i can get them on schedule before other projects cloud the thought at hand, its just the way that producing on social media should be.
What do you dislike about the product?
not as reliable to tag others from hootsuite. it does not seem to be a firm replacement for posting including other business and individuals as using the other social media platforms direct interface. but this is not a deal breaker for me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
timesavings, hands down. dont get mired into comsuming all the content of others, i can focus on what i have to publish and move on to other projects. I dont get sucked in to the debates of others which has no bearing on the outcome of my business. i get to promote myself and get out. keeps the distractions of social media out of my focus while still getting my message out to the world. less time is spent on social media allowing other things to get done.

try it, especially the scheduling, and you'll never use anything else.
Easy to use and helpful.
What do you like best about the product?
I found the site easy to navigate and use. There are handy tutorials available to walk you through the process of creating posts, setting them to auto-post, or post in advance. I'm able to link all my social media accounts both personal and work associated ones. It's not often that I have a glitch or issue with posting.
What do you dislike about the product?
I did have an issue with billing. I sent an email to the team and received a quick response and break down.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I haven't had any business problems with it. It's benefited me in a lot of ways because it's super easy for me to do. I can take just an hour a day or even two if I want to and have a week's worth of postings set, scheduled and ready to go. I check daily to make sure that the posts have gone through.
Useful but not always reliable

It's great to be able to view and publish from all of our social media accounts in one place

Sometimes scheduled posts fail to publish but it's not always clear as to why or how to fix it

I'm the only person in our organization who manages our social media engagement, so this is a serious time saver for me
Recommendations to others considering the product:
We have the discounted version of the software as a small non-profit but the full paid version has some attractive features
Solid choice for a free social media aggregator platform
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it allows you to schedule tweets and gives you basic analytics on Twitter, FB, and Instagram.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the clunky user interface of it all, but that is to be expected with a free product.

We don't have the most reliable wifi (firewall), so Hootsuite has been a great way for us to schedule social media posts when they need to go out.
User friendly and visually apealing
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy was to get started and to schedule my post. I use 6 different social media accounts so being able to draft, schedule and prep content is awesome. Also that it will shrink your URL's this is vital.
What do you dislike about the product?
I struggle with retweeting things on Hootsuite and at times find myself just going to the social media page itself because Hootsuite isn't able to recognize a name or company.

Organization and planning
Very convenient, helps build a better connection without high maintenance

HootSuite helps me plan social media in advance, giving me the time to focus on other facets of my job. The design of the site is very intuitive and user-friendly, making it easy for technologically challenged people to understand.
What do you dislike about the product?
Content publishing and curation could be smoother.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
At a busy law firm, HootSuite allows us to maintain a a constant social media presence without constantly demanding our attention.
Scheduling is my Jam
What do you like best about the product?
I love being able to schedule Tweets ahead of time and just forget about it.
What do you dislike about the product?
For what I use it for, it's actually pretty comprehensive.

Being able to easily monitor mentions for my company
Adequate features, adequate design
What do you like best about the product?
I was really thrilled at how easy it was for me to manage multiple social networks and post content that was formatted correctly to each.
What do you dislike about the product?
I thought that the design could use a little freshening up- it was just a little outdated and less than stunning.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've saved a vast amount of time and frustration from having to cross-post to other SM networks, as well as the ability to schedule posts in advance.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do your research and identify the product that works best for your individual needs. HS worked great for us because of its feature set and integration across platforms.
