What do you like best about the product?
I think it's really easy and straightforward to use. I used it professional and for my student newspaper in college. It was easy to master at 18 and it continues to make my life easier now.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was one more very basic plan under $10 a month. $120 a year may not seem like much, but when you add to other business expenses...
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to schedule tweets is also a lifesaver for anyone working in social media. In journalism, you have SO MANY stories you need to promote. Being able to schedule posts ahead of time allows us to actually leave our desks once in a while.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the scheduling aspect, it allows me to schedule my posts out for the weekend without having to be on the actual social media platform
What do you dislike about the product?
That it is a hassle to schedule Instagram unless you download their app, which I haven't. I only use the desktop version.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves having to post on the weekends. The benefits are that it saves time and you can see multiple feeds in one place.

Hootsuite cannot post onto Instagram on it's own.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are in the primary market of young adults, so having a social media scheduling tool is incredibly important. This allows us to create and schedule posts for the future so we're always generating content. For us, this is crucial to constantly engaging with our demographics. It also allows our corporate company to give us sponsored content!!

The app makes things really easy, but the online software is even better!!
Hootsuite is a great place to send out the status update across multiple platforms.

Sometimes the connections to each platform don't always work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am trying to solve the issue of not having a solid brand appearance across all social accounts. Beneficially, it works.
Hootsuite Saves Time, Great for Visual Planners
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite allows you to visually see what is up on your social media accounts and what is scheduled. Being able to look at the various feeds and schedule them all in one place is a great timesaver for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, Hootsuite isn't all that intuitive. I wish there was a feature that allowed you to set up a schedule (like posts at :15 and :45) on a certain page and then all you to simply fill in the spots visually (like drop in the posts and re-arrange).

Having all my accounts on one app. No having to remember multiple passwords and ability to cross-post.

It has a lot of issues with posting photos to twitter. Rather than showing, they often post as just a link.

Need to provide consistent messaging between channels. Need to have all social contributors singing from the same sheet of music.

What do you like best about the product?
I really like the dashboard feature that showcased all your social media platforms in one clean view
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to have been able to create boards that contained more than just facebook and twitter, incorporating additional social media platforms would have been a nice feature.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I needed to be able to connect with an audience across multiple platforms while maintaining the same messaging to measure which platform my audience was using the most, and which platform received the most engagement. The ability to see all this on the dashboard was a huge benefit.
Easy Usage
What do you like best about the product?
I love the ability to select all the platforms I use and then even within a platform be able to select what 'pages' I want the post to show up on. This allows me to minimize the amount of time I actually have to wade through info. on the actual social media sites.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the only issues that I had was at setting up. That was probably my own inadequacies at the start rather than the software itself.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Really simply it has allowed me to broadcast over all my various platforms quickly and efficiently and therefore saved me time and made me more likely to actually send out messages.

New dashboarding tools allow actionable soxcial CRM insight

Old reporting tools (which are vital until the news dashboard are out of beta) keep breaking.

Allowing us to see what kind of queries from customers come in and are actioned - and make data-driven descisions

What do you like best about the product?
I think Hootsuite is the market leader for a reason, they always get new features quickly and have a great database of add on apps.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface of columns does seem tired now, it's often hard to monitor all your networks if you have multiple columns across different tabs. It would be great to have an alert feature on on main dashboard.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's a great tool to be a one stop shop to monitor all your social media channels. If you are not using a social media management tool like this - do it now! It will save you hours!

A good and cost effective solution, but consider other tools first.
