Brief review of HootSuite
What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy that I can schedule social media posts. This is great for when life gets busy, and I am not able to immediately tweet. Social media management is a large part of my position, thus it is important that I am curating content on a regular basis.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am not sure that this is specifically a Hoot Suite issue. However, I wish social media accepted JPGs for images. I often have to convert files form PDFs to JPGs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am getting the word out about our office, what we do, and how we can be of services. Others at my organization have commented on how they appreciate my content and what I have been able to do via Hoot Suite.
Solid tool for my needs
What do you like best about the product?
I have used Hootsuite for almost eight years, and it continues to fulfill my needs for monitoring, scheduling and posting to multiple media.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am not using some of the social channels that can be managed through Hootsuite, so I don't feel like I am using it to its full potential.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main way I use Hootsuite today is to monitor, post and schedule posts for my rider-sharing business. It allows me to schedule out content and see when it is most effective to post. I also use it monitor and amplify social content posted by our organization.

Explore its features and don't be afraid to tweak it to your needs
Social Media Heaven
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite has made social media management so much simpler. From the ability to post on all platforms at the same time to scheduling your messaging, Hootsuite is a great tool for all small companies and organizations to manage their social media all in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing that I dislike about this product, however, I don't use all the features that are offered. I definitely need to explore more on the dashboard to see what else would be beneficial to my organization and job.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a small nonprofit, I am the sole person responsible for managing five different social media platforms - along with the rest of my job description. Hootsuite decreases the amount of time spent posting on each platform and makes it easy to monitor all activity in the same place.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Very user-friendly and can have multiple users signed up (if necessary).
Worked, as needed.
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to schedule twitter and Facebook posts at the same time on any given day. Easy to do in advance.
What do you dislike about the product?
you were not able to successfully tag people/places on the Facebook option. It would never post correctly and I used to get complaints becuase our business partners were not getting aknowledged correctly.

The benefits of organization and scheduling social media posts.

Make sure you double check the work after it is posted.
Convenience in one place
What do you like best about the product?
I like the centralization of my sites! It makes it so much easier than posting the same thing repeatedly on different social media sites.
What do you dislike about the product?
The user interface could use some work. It is clunky and not always intuitive. The idea of streams vs. tabs makes sense to people acquainted with social media, but for new users, it might be intimidating.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This is efficient and I don't have to spend all day on 3-4 different sites.
Hootsuite is a hoot
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to set unique streams for specific sources of contact and being able to engage directly from the platform & note each engagement internally.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's difficult and clunky to assign tasks to other team members and there is no easy way to discuss specific interactions within the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to see multiple input sources in one place has made it much more efficient for our team.
Good Listening Product, Clunky Design
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite is a great tool, that allows you to manage your social media accounts as well as monitor social media mentions.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UX and UI feels a bit outdated. I highly recommend them to updWeate the interface. It's also sometimes hard to find the right buttons/items that you need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
At Waste Industries, we use it to monitor our Twitter account as well as to keep updated when people use keywords or branded phrases that relate to our services.
Social butterfly
What do you like best about the product?
That everything is aggregated together and easily accessible
What do you dislike about the product?
It is slightly hard to find things sometimes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The reports, particularly for Facebook, made it easier to analyze data.

being able to schedule posts all in one place for multiple social media platforms is efficient and easy to market our product.

How easy it is to post multiple articles and content online.
What do you dislike about the product?
The mobile version of the program. It is still kind of slow.

It is easier to plan marketing campaigns in a weekly manner.
