The best current option for our social media efforts.
What do you like best about the product?
I love that there are ways to monitor nearby posts, as well as those that have interacted with our brand all in one place. There is also the scheduling that is very helpful. I also like that the analytics allow us to show the higher-ups how influential social media is, with numbers. Some people don't quite get the fuss behind it and the necessity of putting money behind our ads.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a way that it would auto-post to Instagram, instead of having to go in manually. But it is helpful that the caption and photo are easily accessible. My dislikes aren't many, I am actually very impressed with this programming. There is always more to learn.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm currently working to solve the issue of a lack of social media presence, with consistency and interactive posts. The benefits have been very clear when it comes to looking at the posts happening around us and ones we can choose to engage in.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is a great tool if you are willing to take the time to play with it and truly learn its ins and outs. In college, I took the course to become accredited in the Hootsuite University and it was so helpful - I definitely recommend doing that as well.
Easy to use!
What do you like best about the product?
You can pre-schedule all of you social media posts out for the week or month which opens up time for you (or who the task is delegated to) to work on other more pressing tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that the link for an image, website or page remains visible after being embedded into a Facebook post. When posting directly on Facebook, you can paste the link and then delete to remove clutter while maintaining the embedded link in the post.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We do social justice/food systems campaigning and marketing of our brand and Hootsuite allows us to do so in less time.
Awesome features even in the free version
What do you like best about the product?
Scheduling posts on several social media platforms, saves a lot of time! And the basic analytics is just enough for us to get a good understanding on what is happening.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dont have much to complain about, its a useful tool to say the least.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Its timesaving so we can get more information out there quicker! They could have a cheaper pro model starting at like 5USD perhaps.

What do you like best about the product?
Made posting to multiple accounts super easy and saved me tons of time. The calendar feature helps me organize my posting and makes me confident in what my pages will look like.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the interface is not as intuitive as I would like it to be. I struggle to find what I'm looking for, but once I do it's pretty easy to do it again.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
TIME for sure! I only spend about 2 hours once a week on social media now.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Hootsuite is great to save yourself time with social media posting. Especially if its not what you are great at doing. Saves you time, gets it done.
Prefer Buffer to Hootsuite
What do you like best about the product?
The upgrade options -- ability to add multiple channels and multiple team members
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface is hideous and the platform is incredibly buggy. Regularly disconnects accounts, the auto schedule tool is not laid out as nicely as buffer's. Buffer is an all around better scheduling app. The analytics are not easy to get to-- you have to download specific sets of analytics and only certain team members have access.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Social media scheduling. I've realized I need to return to using buffer as opposed to Hootsuite -- It better lays out what times of day are best for scheduling and that is integrated with its auto-scheduler.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use Buffer instead.
Hooray for Hootsuite
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite is a digital platform that allows the user to schedule Facebook and Twitter post weekly/daily, without having to provide live feeds. It allows the user to see multiple accounts.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only drawback with Hootsuite is it does not rank likes or tweets in order from "liking" to "retweeting/loves" unlike its competitor Buffer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite allows the busiest business professionals to set up and automate their accounts in a matter of 10 minutes.
Hootsuite is the Best and Easiest!
What do you like best about the product?
I loved how easy it was to use Hootsuite. Hootsuite is so helpful, too. I can post on social media any day at any time without actually having to physically push a button. Everything is scheduled and organized. I can plan early posts for holidays, events, and announcements. I also liked that Hootsuite allows users to add in links and photos into their posts.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing that I disliked about Hootsuite. I loved using it and I used to use it quite often. It honestly helped me so much. I could use it only once a week or once a month if I wanted to and schedule all of my posts for weeks in advance. Then, I wouldn't even have to worry about updating my social media pages anymore. The only thing that would make Hootsuite even better would be the ability to schedule Instagram posts on the software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've been able to solve problems like organization and timeliness with my posts. If it wasn't for Hootsuite, I would have forgotten to post some days and may have missed posting important information. Hootsuite lets me do everything in advance. I can do all of my work in one day if I wanted to and just schedule everything so that I would never need to worry about it again.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You can do a lot with the free version. The software also offers tutorials and help for using Hootsuite. It is super easy to use! You will love it for sure!

Organization of the marketing platform. It was also user friendly

definitely use this product for twitter but if you need direct posting to instagram, don't bother

We're solving a problem of time. It's much more efficient to schedule posts out in advance that do them live. The benefits are great.
