Hootsuite is a hoot
What do you like best about the product?
I love the bulk scheduling feature, it makes my life so much easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like the Linkedin integration, I feel like it needs some tweaks added.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I helps me to juggle 2 brands effectively and I'm able to see how my posts are doing on each platform and when I need to post.

Autoschedule feature is great, saves me lots of time!

I wish it offered suggested times to post for the week, like Facebook Insights does
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to see competitor tweets, mentions, replies and posts all in 1 dashboard. Saves time and allows me to manage multiple accts at once
Scheduling Made Easy
What do you like best about the product?
I love that the free version allows me to post in my Facebook group.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like that I can not post on Instagram but that's a limitation with all schedulers and not a Hootsuite issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I save so much time with batching content on social media and able to remain consistent.

The ability to schedule posts on various platforms with one app.

You have to pay for a subscription. This can be pricey after a while.

I am able to customize my analytical reports.

What do you like best about the product?
I like Hootsuite because it provides access to various social networks. While I primarily use Facebook and Instagram, I like that I have the opportunity to expand to other platforms like WordPress, Twitter and Foursquare in the future if I'd like. The Hootsuite's all-in-one interface is also very helpful because it allows me to organize my social media plan into different networks and streams. I also like the fact that they have an app directory.
What do you dislike about the product?
The app can be a little overwhelming if you do not have much experience or are not Hootsuite certified. It can be confusing at first to have so many streams and networks laid out at once. There are also so many aspects to Hoosuite. It can be difficult to gain a very strong understand of the app as a whole. The cost of the program is also a bummer. There are also many other additional expenses such as analytic reports & point systems and custom URL shortner.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Connecting with the right audience at the right time; Creating similar content through different types of platforms;
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend upcoming users become Hootsuite certified before they start using the app so they can gain a strong understanding of the app and ease your start with the app because you are still going to be learning as you go. It is best to have a strong grasp on the basics.

I like the feature that you can schedule the posts for different social media platforms.

the tagging system for Facebook sometimes doesn't work.

Easily schedule out all the posts for different social media platform at the same time. You can schedule a future post and save you a lot of time.

The ease in which you can navigate the program
What do you dislike about the product?
Design (aesthetic). Clean and minimal but could use more color.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving the staff-congregation disconnect through social media. Much more of our people are on SM than we realized.

Hootsuite is a Life Saver
What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to see all of my drafts in one place, and all of my scheduled posts in one place. It makes it easy to organize upcoming posts.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing that really bothers me right now is not being able to tell which Linked In page is our company page and which is our group page. One icon is brown and the other is green, so there isn't really a way to tell the difference unless I dig for it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Social media and marketing aren't a part of my job description, even though I am a part of the marketing team. I started using Hootsuite after I took over the social media responsibilities and it made everything so much easier. I can schedule posts weeks in advance so I don't have to worry about posting daily. I loved being able to link it up to our blog so it would automatically post new stories.

Definately go through the user education courses. They helped me out tremendously.

What do you like best about the product?
It helps me plan/set-up posts in advance

The cost. I originally had a free plan and was considering upgrading, but the company I was working for went a different direction.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can plan my posts on my time rather than having to worry about my posts each day.

Monitoring and engaging in twitter parties can be very stressful but the Hootsuite is perfect for tracking what users are saying while scheduling posts and engaging all at the same time, which is crucial for a successful twitter party!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely try out the free version to make sure it meets the clients' needs, most of the time we did not need to pay for the premium version
