Intuitive Analytics but Lacks Strong Support

  • December 18, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Hootsuite for managing social content posting and analytics for various clients. I appreciate how Hootsuite consolidates these activities into one platform, so I don't have to go back and forth across different platforms. The reporting and metrics tool has been particularly helpful to me. It's easy to use and intuitive. The consolidated metrics allow us to understand performance across platforms and adjust our approach for continuous improvement.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the social listening tool built into the basic level weak and not as useful as it could be. We also find customer service extremely difficult to navigate. Customer service is not responsive enough, and there needs to be better escalation of significant issues. The setup is easy enough, but it can be challenging to get all the accesses in place.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Hootsuite to manage social content and analytics for clients. It consolidates these activities into one platform, so we don’t need to switch between native platforms. The reporting and metrics tool is especially helpful and user-friendly, allowing us to understand performance and adjust strategies.

Powerful All-in-One Social Tool, But Steep Learning Curve and Pricey for Small Teams

  • December 16, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Hootsuite is having one dashboard where you can schedule, publish, and monitor posts across multiple platforms at once, instead of jumping between separate apps all day. The unified calendar, AI caption/hashtag tools, and analytics make it easier to plan a full content week, see gaps, and quickly understand what’s actually performing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hootsuite is powerful but it can feel heavy: the interface has a lot of sections and settings, so there’s a real learning curve, especially if you just want something simple. Pricing has also climbed over the years and there’s no real free plan anymore, which makes it harder for solo creators or very small teams to justify compared with lighter, cheaper tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite solves the chaos of managing several social accounts by centralizing scheduling, engagement, and analytics for all your profiles in one place. It helps you stay consistent with posting, respond faster to comments and messages through the unified inbox, and report results to clients or your team with exportable, branded analytics.

    Farming

Essential Tool for Streamlined Social Media Management

  • December 11, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite makes managing social media for our farm business much easier. I like how it allows us to schedule posts in advance for multiple platforms, which is especially helpful during busy harvest periods when time is limited. It also provides analytics to track engagement, helping us promote seasonal produce and recruitment campaigns effectively. Having everything in one dashboard saves time and keeps our messaging consistent.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hootsuite can be quite expensive for small farm businesses, especially if you need advanced features. It also takes time for new team members to learn the platform, which can be challenging during busy harvest periods. Another drawback is that it relies on a stable internet connection, so scheduling or posting updates from rural areas can sometimes be difficult.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite solves the challenge of managing multiple social media accounts for our farm business in one place. It allows us to schedule posts in advance, which is essential during busy harvest periods when time is limited. This keeps our marketing consistent and helps promote seasonal produce, recruitment campaigns, and community updates without last-minute stress. The analytics feature also helps us understand what content engages our audience, improving visibility and brand awareness..

Scheduling & publishing: Create posts in advance and schedule them across different channels, ensuring consistent engagement even when you’re offline.

Analytics & reporting: Track performance metrics like reach, engagement, and conversions with detailed reports that help refine your strategy.

Team collaboration: Assign tasks, approve posts, and manage workflows with multiple team members, which is especially useful for agencies or larger organizations
What do you dislike about the product?
High cost: Plans start at around $149/month, which is expensive for small businesses or solo users.

    Non-Profit Organization Management

Effortless Social Media Management with Reliable Scheduling Tools

  • December 08, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite makes it incredibly easy to manage multiple social media accounts across platforms. As a communications director with a high volume of scheduled content, I rely on the planner and scheduling tools every week. The interface is straightforward, the calendar view is clear, and the approval workflows help keep our team organized.
What do you dislike about the product?
Analytics can sometimes feel a little limited unless you upgrade to a higher plan. I’d also love to see even tighter integrations with tools like Canva. But overall, the platform is dependable and gets the job done.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It centralizes content planning, publishing, and monitoring into one place. Instead of juggling accounts separately, everything lives under a single dashboard, which saves our team time and reduces errors. For small nonprofit teams, that efficiency really matters.
