What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, easily taught, and great free tool for non-profits.
What do you dislike about the product?
Unable to schedule digs in platform. Analytics are not worth paying for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a non-profit we are limited on resources; Hootsuite allows us to schedule content and remain active on social media without draining human capital or financial resources.

Good for what i needed it for but annoying

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to schedule out Twitter posts and Instagram
What do you dislike about the product?
the difficulty of adding photos to a bulk upload and the complications for pushing out instagram content (it makes you log into Instagram and approve and won't put things out automatically).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was able to write and schedule social media content for Twitter ahead of time rather than wasting time each day and scouring for trends, etc. I was able to do prior research and schedule and respond and post on a whim as needed.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Pick something that has better features when it comes to scheduling Twitter content with photos. Adding photos is a pain in the ass.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can see the dashboard and all my social media in ONE place. I also really like using its Twitter scheduling platform better than Twitter's actual platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a learning curve at the beginning, but once you learn where everything is, it's all good.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
TIME MANAGEMENT! Having to manage multiple social media platforms in a days time is consuming. Therefore, this gives me a one-stop-shop for our needs.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can set up automated reporting features and also schedule posts on social media sites. This feature is fairly simple to do for multiple platforms. I also like that I can customize reports to match the analytics I am tracking, and can update these regularly.
What do you dislike about the product?
The dashboard is pretty cumbersome and not intuitive. Sometimes posts that are scheduled do not go through. Some weeks I'll get data back from my reports and other weeks the reports don't show up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This helps me track social media statistics and set up social media posts in advance. I enjoy being able to track organic growth across platforms and see how my hyperlinks are performing on Twitter. I also like that I have credibility with non-marketing personnel and can show my value through the reports that are generated by Hootsuite, which are also easy to understand for non-,marketing employees.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Spend the time learning the product through the help section - it will help eliminate feature headaches that can come with not understanding how to do certain features, such as scheduled posts.

First Class software for ease of use!

What do you like best about the product?
This platform is very easy to use and navigate and can control all your social media channels in 1 place. It has a full screen mode to view all channels that will allow you to view what is going on right in front of you. I love the fact that Hootsuite is well priced in the marketplace and also you will like the layout especially. I also like the pricing structure that allows different size companies to upscale if needed. I also like the full screen mode showing all the channels in the 1 place so I can cast my eye over all streams. I used Social Pilot before but have found Hootsuite to be more user accessible and easier to navigate. So if you are choosing a best solution then after many months of research I would op for Hootsuite. Yo can also add as many channels or streams as you like that gives you a chance to cover all channels with your specific content. Look at the screenshot and you will see how easy it is to view all your channels.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not found any problems with the software. After many months of research I have found this to be the most unique software to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I run a marketing agency so it helps me communicate with all social channels for my clients.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You will find this software much better and easier to use.

Easy to coordinate all our social media campaigns

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Hootsuite has powerful features for free. My team manages our social accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn) using one Hootsuite account, so we're all on the same page as to what messaging is being sent out on each channel, and when.
What do you dislike about the product?
I sometimes find it difficult to differentiate the feeds. As someone who doesn't use the program that often, when I login I have to figure out what's what. There's a lot going on on one screen.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're using Hootsuite to help bring awareness to our research. Hootsuite has allowed us to share our messaging with a larger audience, at scheduled intervals so we don't need to be exclusively "on" social media all day. This is certainly a time saver!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is a great platform for managing your social channels. Highly recommend it!

Easy to use; Great for Delayed Posts

What do you like best about the product?
One of the features I loved was the ability to schedule posts. When using Facebook, twitter, Instagram, etc. each requires their own format, and with Hootsuite I was able to post to each while reducing the work involved.
What do you dislike about the product?
One area that it was not ideal was handling images. It seemed to have an issue with the same issue posted on different platforms. Once I figured this out, I was able to modify the images for each post.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The most simplest business problem solved, and obviously a benefit is the efficiency one obtains when using a system to handle posting (and review) of multiple social media sites.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try the free version (allows up to three social media connections) to see if this will be right for you. It is definitely worth reviewing when trying to increase the efficiency of handling multiple sites.

What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to organize by client and platform, and makes scheduling social media posts easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it had Pinterest functionality, and it's annoying that you can't post multiple pics in a Facebook post. Plus, you can only tag for one platform at a time, so if you're posting the same thing to say Facebook and Instagram you can't schedule to both at the same time, you need to make and schedule separate posts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I manage multiple clients' social media accounts, so social automation software was a necessity. Hootsuite has been a great time saver.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great for managing a few mid size clients, has good social listening features, has been implementing new features along the way and improving.

Not so user friendly at times. If account is signed out it takes time again to sync up again. It would be nice to have more seamless integration
