What do you like best about the product?

What do you like best about the product?
Being able to view various feeds in the same place, and being able to post to multiple platforms at the same time.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were more analytics available with the free version.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite helps me keep track of multiple social feeds as well as schedule posts out for a week at a time. This saves a good deal of time and allows me to see if my posts are being viewed as well.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the fact that I can schedule tweets and LinkedIn posts, make lists to monitor my competitors on social media, and monitor different hashtags. It's so convenient to have all my feeds in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's hard to tell if your post is going to show up in the format you like. For example, sometimes my link previews don't show up the way I want them to on LinkedIn.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm solving the problem of not having to be tweeting while I'm out of the office because I have tweets scheduled. I can also keep my finger on the pulse of what people in my industry are discussing.

Streamlined but underused

What do you like best about the product?
I love that Hootsuite helps streamline the social media dept's job. With far less need for multiple tabs open it gives everyone more room to breathe.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that people don't use it enough. I don't know why they don',t even I could be using it more, but for some reason I don't.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem is mentioned above, we're just not using it even though the benefits of time saving are certainly there. The studies that show that multiple tabs open reduce productivity have opened our eyes to that small fact. So when it's used, it's DEFINITELY a time saver.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Hit the ground running and really consciously implement this into your training and usage.

What do you like best about the product?
It is extremely easy to plug content into Hootsuite and feel confident that it will hit the appropriate social media channels when I've asked it to. It allows me to focus on other things throughout the day and I love that it's working behind the scenes doing my work for me!
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that it was compatible with more social media channels and I wish there was a way to keep "hootsuite's" name off of some of my posts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Recruiting Team Members, Building Team Member Retention and Boosting Moral.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I highly recommend Hootsuite when it comes to using it to build content on your social media channels. I am eager to continue building my brand name and Hootsuite makes it so much easier for me to do that!

Powerful analytics that give an easy to read and concise overview of important Facebook and Twitter activity with easy-to-understand visualizations.
What do you dislike about the product?
Costly to receive advanced analytics with data exports

Hootsuite's analytics, auto scheduling, and content suggestions assists in day to day decisions and content rollout.

What do you like best about the product?
I love using HootSuite to schedule posts for my classroom twitter.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes all the features do not work 100% on my district network.

I can keep my students and parents updated when it's convenient for me.

Good tool, could be more user-friendly

What do you like best about the product?
I do like that Hootsuite allows you to add multiple tabs and organize them however I like. It allows me to create a workspace that makes the most sense to me, while some platforms don't allow that kind of flexibility. It's also fairly easy to connect profiles and schedule content. I love that you are able to set up different feeds in which you are able to share from to your different profiles, that has been a life saver for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hootsuite can be very glitchy. There are often times the feeds don't load up right away or more post that I'm in the middle of closes and the text is deleted. It's also difficult to create ongoing campaigns and the scheduler goes by every five minutes. I would rather be able to type in the time so things aren't posting at exactly five-minute increments. The analytics section leaves a lot to be desired as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am a social media community manager so am always looking for the best ways to organize and send out content. Hootsuite does help with organizing those feeds and allowing me to post from other feeds.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Play around with it for a while, it takes a bit to get used too for sure. It is good for social media monitoring but you will most likely need to use other tools for analytics. Thankfully most platforms offer that for you and is much more accurate than hootsuite.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Hootsuite allows you to see content posted from different geo-locations, and that there is the opportunity to set up different filtered views depending on your needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface could definitely use some work when it comes to UX best practices!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Social media management is our primary use for Hootsuite.

Consider your needs carefully-- Hootsuite is a good program but Pro offers many capabilities that you may find crucial!
