Good tool for scheduling
What do you like best about the product?
Can collaborate with large teams and multiple posters, almost functions as an editorial calendar of posts viewable by all, can schedule out as far in the future as you like which is most convenient.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would like to update interface for maximum convenience. Seeing posts in pop up window previews.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scheduling all social media in one place with multiple posters without need for large, unwieldy internal spreadsheets.
Affordable Solutions for Small Business
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite makes it easy to manage social media accounts across multiple platforms. Posting to duplicate platforms and altering content to suit each space is simple and easy with this great tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
Posting is sometimes tedious and buggy. Uploading content via csv is frequently difficult.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Hootsuite to manage multiple social media accounts for my business and other small businesses.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Evaluate all your options and compare the price to what you get. This software isn't as user-friendly as some other options, but the price-point is reflective of it's limitations, particularly in reporting.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can see all three platforms at once. That I can schedule facebook, twitter and instagram at once. It's easy to review what you have scheduled to make sure that you are keeping the message and branding consistent.
What do you dislike about the product?
It seems like facebook doesn't give as much traffic to posts from hootsuite. You need to pay if you manage more than 3 social media accounts-this could be a negative for larger companies.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am solving the problem of not being on facebook 24/7. By scheduling the posts I am able to keep a steady presence.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the articles they produce for starters. But also, I'm thankful to have a way to easily schedule Instagram posts. The notification just pops up on my phone and I can, with only a couple clicks, post. It's nice for when I need to post outside of work.
What do you dislike about the product?
There have been quite a few glitches. I might miss a post because I never get the notification. Or, if you open the app at the exact time it wants to send you the notification, it might delete your post or postpone it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We don't really use Hootsuite other than to publish posts. It's given us the ability to post to Instagram at high-traffic times easily.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I'm sure if you are using the paid services, it'll be great. They seem to have great customer service.

What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite is a platform we use to schedule social media posts in the future. We love how simple it is to use and teach someone else how to use. It saves us time and allows us to schedule posts for weeks/months in advance so we are always ahead of things. I don't know what we would do without it.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't anything we dislike about Hootsuite. It is a game changer and we will continue to use it for years. If I had to pick something very minor, I would say that I wish the scheduling posts box was just the tiniest bit larger. We have a few older employees that have trouble understanding the concept and it would be a little easier to show them if they could see the box better. That is the only problem we have ever come across while using Hootsuite.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We benefit by scheduling posts in the future. We can be weeks ahead of the game and never have to worry about missing a post that a client has paid for. This keeps our social media accounts up to date and highly active.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You will not regret it! It does everything you could want it to do and more. The fact that you can view current posts, current tags by others AND schedule future posts-- what more could you want. Hootsuite makes the social media life simpler.

What do you dislike about the product?
Cannot distinguish between Twitter-specific terminology or characteristics and non-specific, so a post to both Twitter and Facebook ends up looking a little odd on Facebook.

Always trying to increase engagement with audiences.
Great tool for Scheduling Posts
What do you like best about the product?
I love utilizing the streams to manage social media posts. Hootsuite makes it easy to connect to accounts and to view what is going on in the different social media networks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Accounts often become disconnected and at times it is a few days before we realize that posts are not going out as intended. Additionally, the view of a post with the thumbnail does not give a good sense of what the post will actually look like on Facebook or Twitter. This is certainly an area for improvement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Hootsuite now for managing Twitter specifically. Monitoring hashtags, keyword searches, and lists. This makes it easy to RT, mention and stay on top of different conversations.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Hootsuite has a great educational platform too as a way to expand your knowledge regarding social media and digital marketing. It is a close rival to Hubspot when it comes to education.
Hootsuite succeeds at automating social media across the board
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite streamlines the process of posting social media and allows for a myriad of content to be accessible with just a few clicks. The software is very clean and very user friendly across the board. Additionally, I liked the ability to switch between multiple accounts with ease.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hootsuite was generally very reliable but in some rare instances would become buggy. This would sometimes make me fearful that I couldn't rely on the software during important times with my company.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite allowed my company to have a stronger presence on social media - specifically Twitter. We were able to grow our followers and engage with our readers on a greater level.
All your social media... in one place!
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can go to one place to see all of my social media accounts. There are a lot of applications that can use it. I like that I can manage my acting career a lot easier now than before where I had to go back and forth trying to make sure I didn't double post or miss a post on a certain platform. There is a way to do that on the specific apps but the view ends up looking very different than how I would like it would be seen.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't a lot to dislike. Maybe more nit picky things more than anything. I would use it more if there was more on-branding for actors. The set up is a bit confusing at first. I definitely recommend getting assistance from the little helper guy. I wish it almost had everything set up and if I wanted to pull back on what I was viewing or the content I was seeing, then I could just "X" out of them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am trying to keep track of how people view me as a brand. However, this issue is as an actor, its harder to track. There are a lot of benefits as far seeing how each post or content I post is across all social media outlets.

What do you like best about the product?
Strong Twitter game requires relevancy and frequency. Hootsuite allows for easy scheduling of Tweets as well as the ability to edit ad hoc. The reports were solid.

Pretty good tool, have had issues with the scheduling calendar in the past but nothing major
