HootSuite good basic tool
What do you like best about the product?
HootSuite makes it simple to carry out the basics of scheduling social media posts into the future.
What do you dislike about the product?
HootSuite's not going to offer fancy resources on a basic package if you're looking for more elaborate processes in scheduling your content.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
HootSuite makes it easy to schedule content in advance. That keeps you from spending too much time each day building your day around when you post content for your audience.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Give it a try. It will either meet your needs or help you decide what you need.

What do you like best about the product?
Coordination of all social media accounts and posts. Great for coordinating messaging across platforms

Not terribly intuitive at times, particularly via mobile

The ability to message across platforms. Maintaining a posting schedule has become easier.
Keeps Our Social Media Accounts Tidy and Organized
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Hootsuite lets me manage multiple social media platforms and allows me to schedule posts in advance. It keeps me organized and on track in terms of my posting schedule and allows me to work ahead when I need to.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hootsuite's dashboard can be a little confusing at first because there are so many things to look at!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Like many people, I am a busy business professional. Often times, social media can take up more of my time than I think it will. I run out of time or forget to post. Hootsuite helps keep me on track by allowing me to organize more effectively as well as providing me a snapshot of my content and audience across the various social media platforms we use.

What do you like best about the product?
What I find the most interesting about Hootsuite is how it integrates with numerous other cloud-based systems to make it a central place to manage all social media related activities.
I'm talking for example about the Zendesk or Digimind Social integrations for social customer support or social listening for example.

What do you dislike about the product?
In some aspects, the UX of the platform could be improved as it can feel a little messy at times especially if you manage a couple dozen social networks like in a multinational organization like ours.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite is the cornerstone of our social media governance. It helps us organize social media activities in a consistent way throughout our global organization by empowering our markets marketing teams with all that they need to manage the brand's social media presence.
In particular, it has helped us solve the issue of consistent promotional content distribution thanks to the very convenient content libraries that the platform offers.

Easy-to-use tool for managing multiple feeds in one location
What do you like best about the product?
Multiple people from my team can interact through the dashboard and respond to messages and comments.
What do you dislike about the product?
Non-admin users have limited privileges.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Hootsuite to disseminate our publications. It has been very helpful in gaining Twitter followers, and to see how our audience interacts with our feeds.

I like the ability to see all social media platforms at once.

It often can get confusing as to which social media site you are looking at when you open the dashboard.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm solving the issue of lack of social media presence at my company. The benefits of Hootsuite primarily are that I can post once and have posts uploaded to several of our social media sites at once.
Easy to use Social Media tool
What do you like best about the product?
I like how you can queue up social media posts.
What do you dislike about the product?
I did not like how "hootsuite" would show up on the bottom of my posts. I wish there was a way to pay extra and have that removed. Although that could just be the twitter api.

It has solved our problem of not having to be on social media 24/7

What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can post to all of my social media channels quickly and easily. I like that I can schedule all of my posts, so they can go up while I'm not at work.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that the windows sometimes close when I move the cursor away. I dislike that I have to re-size my photos to make them work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping my social media accounts current and active, even while I am not in the office.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is especially useful when it comes to smaller social media posts, like a quick tweet or an Instagram photo. It also allows you to schedule (which the regular apps do not), so posts can automatically appear, even if you are not at work.

Hootsuite is THE social media management tool I have preferred over others for various clients mainly because the UI is very user friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Apart from all the great features, the analytical reports are really expensive
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main benefits that Hootsuite provides me is team collaboration and social media listening of multiple streams.

Hootsuite is THE social media management tool I have preferred over others for various clients mainly because the UI is very user friendly.
All in one place
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to pre-schedule posts on multiple platforms. I can also log in one day and set multiple posts for the future. It also recommends the best time for posting. The free version offers sufficient features for a nonprofit that cannot afford to pay for a premium version so that's a pretty great benefit.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be confusing when using multiple accounts per platform (a personal and a business Twitter, for example.)

Need to post content efficiently across multiple platforms. Have upped the amount of content I share because it's pretty fast to do. I can also log in one day and set multiple posts for the future. It also recommends the best time for posting.
