What do you like best about the product?
You can load multiple social media channels to schedule and post content across platforms with ease.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not a dislike as much as it is knowing that you need to pay a monthly fee if you need more than five accounts. Which is fair.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
How to schedule and post content into an editorial calendar.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a great option. It's gateway product that you can customize. Depending on the size of your organization and budget, you can upgrade for a more robust experience.

What do you like best about the product?
Its general ease of use. Regardless if you are a social media guru or newbie, Hootsuite makes it incredibly easy to plan out posts on multiple platforms.
-Easy to use interface
-Monitoring service gives you a 360 view of all of your platforms and allows you to easily access and monitor replies, likes, comments, etc.
-Easy to collaborate and work with other team members
What do you dislike about the product?
The free version is extremely limited, though this is to be expected for these services.
-The analytics are confusing and SUPER expensive to access
-The link shortener can only be used at the end of the post and cannot be used with any other analytics software
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
How to optimize social media to solve business objectives. Through the Hootsuite monitoring we are able to offer better customer service, actively monitoring responses and responding in a timely manner.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Really delve in and master the tool to get the best use out of it.

New to Hootsuite

What do you like best about the product?
I like that you can have a whole team working on Hootsuite. You can grant access to team members without giving them individual access to the actual signs - as in you won't need to log in to facebook, twiter, instagram etc. You can assign posts or whole social channels to teammates, which is neat. You can see and edit posts with your team and then schedule it.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's a bit overwhelming at first. I suppose the experience varies depending on how many channels you have on your plate. Toggling back and forth for me was a bit awkward at first. While it's highly customizable it takes a fair amount of time and training before you have all your ducks in a row.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite is allowing us to oversee all the channels and strategically plan how to trickle information to our followers and cross promote our campaigns. It also brings all the admins to the same table and now we all play with our cards up.

We are slowly transitioning from siloed efforts to a collaborative one.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Hootsuite is great to get your channels organized. If you need to make a map for your social media needs, consider using this to get all your pieces on the board and start putting it all together.

What do you like best about the product?
I like to be able to schedule social media posts in one location, I also like that I can edit posts after they're scheduled and delete them after they're posted.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that many key features aren't free, there are a lot of limitations to the free version and the interface could be simpler. I don't like that the input form for a post goes away when I scroll off of it. I have left many posts unscheduled that way.. thinking they were scheduled but didn't actually finish the process because the bar went away.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Consolidating social media accounts, simplifying the process.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Hootsuite is great for consolidating social media accounts and cutting down on time consumed by scheduling posts individually on the social media websites themselves. The user experience / interface could be smoother, but otherwise it does what it needs to do.

What do you dislike about the product?
Layout of the content in the tool. I don't like all the tabs.

Finding conversations and content that is relevant to the client's business helps us improve 1:1 communications.

What do you like best about the product?
Like other social media managing programs, Hootsuite works very well for a company trying to schedule and strategize its posts. Hootsuite lets you connect to a variety of social platforms, from the necessary giants to the niche platforms. That convenience is reason enough to use a management program; the data analytics is a huge bonus.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's a lot of information available on Hootsuite. Sometimes, it can get too cluttered and overwhelming. There are also some features which can only be utilized by paying extra.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The most obvious benefit of using something like Hootsuite is organization. I don't have to log in to multiple platforms to post or moderate; it's all done from one place. That saves time, which is precious. Hootsuite lets me do everything needed to make sure my clients' posts are seen when, where, and by the audience we want.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The newest version is a lot nicer to play around with, but there's still a lot of information blasting you in the face. Be patient, and keep digging.

All Social Media Profiles in One platform!

What do you like best about the product?
This is the best software to handle all social media accounts at once for multiple clients. Working with multiple clients to manage and monitor multiple accounts was a hectic task. We found hootsuite by Google search 3 years ago. It was not hard for a 1st time user and it was easy to navigate. With the difference in time between the workers' location and clients' location, scheduling was very much convenient to keep the clients satisfied. Interacting on tweet, checking feeds for clients was also very convenient comparatively.
What do you dislike about the product?
Though all features brought the work at fingertips, the scheduling was a bit of an annoying part for me. As it shows the current time and date for each scheduling, and there is no memory of the previous scheduling. I feel it would be best, if the scheduling had the memory of the past time it was scheduled, so it would make it more convenient.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I work for a marketing agency and during the period when I used hootsuite I had to manage about 12 clients' social media profiles along with other marketing work. So hootsuite become the savior for our team. We kept our clients happy with timely posts and managing all profiles to the point.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is a great software for anyone who manages and monitors multiple client profiles as it has stacked all in one. Any announcement or sharing is made easy as all profiles are linked to one platform.

What do you like best about the product?
I can manage all my (twitter / Facebook / Instagram / Google plus) accounts in one page. The options to schedule my posts, status updates and photos makes it so much convenient to organise my time and maintain my online presence while am still not being online. One of the best features. Having the option to post the same content in multiple platforms, shrinking a link are some of the best features.
What do you dislike about the product?
The twitter is character limited hence we have to post separately at times, and also there are issues encountered when uploading multiple photos for facebook / Google plus, I often ended up uploading them seperately. Also high quality images are a trouble when using hootsuite. Mentions are not feasible (eg: +username or @username)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have the time to manage my social media accounts and the multiple social media accounts of the start-up company I am working for. Scheduling posts ahead, daily, weekly and bi-weekly makes it so convenient to keep up my online presence.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You can start with the trial version and see if it benefits your needs, and then go to purchase the package which would suite your requirements.

What do you like best about the product?
Ability to schedule posts in advance. Also it's great to see an overview of all your managed pages at once.
What do you dislike about the product?
Inability to post directly from app. Interface is not the best.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I needed to schedule my posts in advance since I'm usually busy at peak posting time or I just forget. Also helpful in scheduling more than one post at once on a platform or scheduling on multiple platforms at once

What do you like best about the product?
As a freelance writer and blogger, having all of my social accounts at my finger tips is crucial. I don't have time to look at each platform individually and Hootsuite allows me to look at them on one screen as well as interact with all of them via their post integration.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the fact that I have to purchase a package to use more than two social channels.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite is a lifesaver and being able to pre-schedule my posts has made my brand much more manageable.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're an on the go blogger.. I suggest using Hootsuite for all your social media needs.
