Hootsuite does everything I need it to.
What do you like best about the product?
I love the Hootsuite GUI and its integration with multiple social platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not much I dislike about Hootsuite. I find it very responsive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Social Media Management is fairly new and I am finding that it is very easy to see everything at first glance. Very easy to use when wanting to get the word out to multiple platforms at once.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
More platforms than any other I've seen for the price. Very good pricepoint.

great for scheduling social media team messaging for a corporate brand, use this with a global team and would highly reccomend

sometimes it's confusing to schedule across different networks, and see what is scheduled from different networks

this helps to get content scheduled and make sure that we have always on posted messaging across our brand channesl
Average Social Media Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I love how much data that Hootsuite provides about social media. There's a lot there that other social media tools can't provide.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it can get too confusing, especially if you're brand new to a tool like this. I moved onto Buffer because it was easier to navigate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am trying to make it easier for my business to schedule posts across multiple channels. Other people on my team are used to publishing posts in real time, but I think it's easier if we could schedule them out.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
See if Facebook's scheduling tools and insights are enough for your business. Otherwise, I would look into Hootsuite and compare it to Buffer.
Great Social Media Management Software
What do you like best about the product?
I recommend Hootsuite all the time for people who want to schedule out their social media postings. Facebook came in and added the feature to schedule posts to your fan pages but I still think that Hootsuite provides a competitive advantage in that you can create a calendar of posts for multiple social platforms. They also have a great app you can use if you are on the go.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike their GUI. It was relatively clunky and hard to use. I feel like they could use an upgrade on their interface and overall look to make things simpler. People want simple and Hootsuite definitely has a little bit of a learning curve to it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The business problems I like to solve is getting my content out everywhere on social media. In this day and age you really have to be everywhere at once yet we don't have the time to dedicate to all of that. Hootsuite allows me to pretend like I have extra time in my day so that I can bulk schedule things all at once.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I think that Hootsuite is a great option that could just use a bit of a facelift to join the ease of use that other softwares provide. There are of course always limitations in how Hootsuite can connect and interact with other social platforms but if you're looking for a good way to schedule all of your posts out, this is a great solution.
Great all in one social media manager
What do you like best about the product?
I like how you can schedule, and track your social media platforms all into one dashboard. The reports are helpful as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't connectivity to all of the SM platforms. The app is limited as well as you can not directly publish to Instagram anymore

I certainly would recommend following and connecting with Hootsuite for informative tips as well as the platform for your social media management. They have great articles and tutorials for anyone handling the marketing of a business. They offer training modules as well. These are very helpful
Social media - simplified
What do you like best about the product?
Ability to time tweets, view analytics, and manage multiple accounts on each platform — all together.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost. The number of steps it takes to complete a process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Coverage of sports teams, blasting WordPress posts, and timely images. The schedule function saves time and allows for more sanity (and sleep).
Timesaving, Cost-Effective, and Easy to Use
What do you like best about the product?
easy to interface with linked in (including groups), FB, twitter. It saves us a lot of time. Easy to use interface.
What do you dislike about the product?
It disconnects from the social media groups frequently. We have to reconnect them about once every two weeks.

Trying to best manage our time on social media. I like that it sends us reports each week of engagement.

I recommend setting up feeds to monitor key twitter feeds; it helps with usability.
Ideal for small teams
What do you like best about the product?
If your company is just getting their feet wet in the world of social media marketing and communications, HootSuite is by far the easiest platform to begin to develop your social media campaigns. The option to try before you buy as well as the ability to assign tasks to team members means you can dive right in and build out your company's social media strategy from a central place.
What do you dislike about the product?
The free options are limiting - you can only import 3 social media accounts but this is enough to get you started.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Company did not have a social media presence or plan in place prior to my hire. The goal was to increase the company's social presence in hopes of attracting new clients and customers. In the first 2 month's we've seen new potential leads and increased walk-in traffic as well as an increase in web registrations. Consistency is key and we hope to continue to use HootSuite as part of our social engagement initiatives.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Understand your business's needs. Make sure you've thought out your social media plan before jumping into any platform. Have a six-month implementation plan in place and decide if the tools offered by HootSuite will work for your plan.
Multi-purpose Social App
What do you like best about the product?
Great, easy to use, allows monitoring across social networks, great scheduling capabilities- with accurate read on posting times, can be used by multiple users to allow for easy collaboration
What do you dislike about the product?
pushing to Instagram can get buggy at times, doesn't always predict handles on Twitter + Facebook accurately and users need to double check or enter manually.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can schedule posts in advance. When balancing real life and internet life, hootsuite is a lifesaver. The most important thing when it comes to social media is staying present and constantly active, hootsuite helps me achieve that.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the layout at times. The way certain boxes pop up at time only when you scroll over. I think the interface could be planned out better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am solving the problem of being able to stay active on the internet while actually being able to live my life, without worrying about needing to post.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I told my friend last week who is starting to handle the social media at her job to use hootsuite to help with the process and to ease her into it. Especially since she is not crazy about having to use twitter, I believe hootsuite will help change her opinion of Twitter and dealing with social media to begin with since it wont be taking up her day to day life.
