Not user-friendly
What do you like best about the product?
I liked that you could have all platforms all on one easy to use interface. I liked that we could schedule Tweets via this interface as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Didn't like a lot of things. Most of all, it was really difficult to add additional users, even with the paid plan. The interface really didn't seem to keep up with scheduling tweets like other services like Buffer. I feel like the interface looks like the same it did back in 2012.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are are a Fintech company using an AI assistant to help people with their finances.
Solid product that's mobile friendly
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can check in on the social media channels anywhere by using the mobile app.
What do you dislike about the product?
Creating and replying tweets is not as intuitive at first as you might hope.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We need to monitor the social media channels all day, every day and this allows us to have a life and still be responsible.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that I am able to use one platform to schedule multiple messages. This platform makes life so much easier when working with several clients
What do you dislike about the product?
Scheduling posts on Instagram is not the most convenient due to it involving multiple steps.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Problems we are solving involve accuracy with timely posts and not having to do it manually on each platform.

At times i have had some difficulty uploading photos.

It's nice to view everything in one spot.
Hootesuite Suits me!
What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to follow multiple social streams, both accounts and topics.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I wish I could monitor more streams at once. But that would only clutter up an already cluttered page...so much text.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We share content from multiple websites, multiple times a day, so we are using Hootesuite to monitor our own streams as well as those of our contributors and topics of interest.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Start small, with just a few accounts to monitor. Learn the different features til you figure out what works better for you and your company. Find out how mobile works differently from desktop.
The best available but not greatest

I like being able to manage a large number of social accounts

I am unable to save high-performing posts and easily reschedule them. I also wish Hootsuite offered previews of how each post will look in feeds and on mobile vs. desktop.

Hootsuite allows me to manage a large number of social accounts and pre-schedule material efficiently.
Time Saver
What do you like best about the product?
Hoot Suite is easy to use and saves me time to so I get to the important things.
What do you dislike about the product?
It took a while to figure out the software. Some things were particularly user friendly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm responsible for the social media footprint of a state sponsored, university run, support provider for teachers attempting to gain National Board Certification. I primarily use the software to attract new candidates and keep current candidates up to date.
I use Hootsuite to monitor all social media accounts and post to them.
What do you like best about the product?
I like the layout of hoot suite. It's easy to navigate and see all your channels at once. They set it all up in columns so you can have, let's say, Facebook in the first column, Twitter in the second, LinkedIn in the third, and so on. Plus, you can have columns that reflect keywords. So for instance, I could have a column that shows all the Tweets containing "National Basketball Association," then another column shows all Tweets with "NBA" and another with "#NBA."
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that when you post videos and pictures through Hootsuite, they sometimes don't appear on your posts on Facebook and twitter. Additionally, it doesn't always find people when I'm trying to tag them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're able to quickly monitor all channels, as well as post to multiple channels at once.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you have less than 3 social media accounts, just use the free version. If you have more, then pay for the subscription. If you're posting a lot, it's totally worth the annual cost - it's actually cheap compared to others.
Nifty tool to schedule social media posts
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use and the layout of this SAAS tool. All of our social media assets are present there and can be viewed on just one dashboard. That makes scheduling and monitoring campaigns easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
The streams sometimes take time to refresh. It also seems to have issues with LinkedIn integration. The connection keeps getting lost and needs to be reconnected.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The benefit is being able to post content to social networks without actually being physically present at the computer. Just schedule with Hootsuite and it takes care of the rest. That saves time and effort.
Convenience is Key
What do you like best about the product?
Everything is together and easy to access. I love the idea of having one stop to do many things.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really like this product and have no complaints or dislikes about it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My main goal is to elevate the social profile of our school district. We have a problem with letting parents and other stakeholders know about all the great things going on in our system. They always hear about and remember the bad stuff. Social media has given us the opportunity to improve our image by getting more positive information out and it easier to manage all the avenues from one spot
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Go with the free trial and make sure it's what you need, but I think you'll find that it is a great product.
