Social Media Management with Hootsuite
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite has proven itself to be an excellent, user-friendly platform for posting content to multiple social media networks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hootsuite is a bit difficult to schedule timing of posts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to multi-task and decrease work hours spent on social media posting.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
A must have software for social media management!
One-Stop Shop for Social Media Management
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite is so simple and straight forward to use. Every option and feature is clearly labeled and easy to understand right off the bat. It's easily accessible for any somewhat tech-savvy user.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the analytics feature a little difficult to understand. I wish there was a more simplified version for users that aren't as familiar with analytics.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our busienss revolves around promoting local events, many of which happen on weekends when the office is closed. It gives me the freedom to schedule posts ahead of time for when I'm out of the office to keep our social media presence constant throughout the week.
Great Product for Social Posting/ Management
What do you like best about the product?
Scheduling content is a breeze. Everything is very organized, and teamwork is streamlined.
What do you dislike about the product?
Their reporting is not my favorite. Also, it is hard to edit scheduled posts from the mobile app.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having one location to post social content to multiple networks is extremely efficient and saves us a lot of time.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
We use this product strictly to streamline content posting. I do not prefer HootSuite for Analytics.
Good for scheduling Twitter but not Facebook
What do you like best about the product?
The service is one of the better low-cost options and has a very clean interface.
What do you dislike about the product?
At this point you can get better analytics offerings through the platforms themselves making the tool kind of a one-trick pony. The analytics report only seems to track owl.ly links which ignores anything off platform. Furthermore, to an unexperienced user it might not be clear that Facebook punishes outside scheduling (and it has it's own scheduling system that works better).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Given Twitter is less important than Facebook it can be easy to slack on posting to it. By using Hootsuite we can reduce the process to once a day.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Don't use the product for Facebook -- you can get better analytics and scheduling services from Facebook. Furthermore, Facebook punishes outside scheduling. While Hootsuite offers a good product in terms of streamlining services, it shouldn't replace actual social media analysis and consulting.
Great Social Media Marketing Tool
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use. Even if you aren't a social media professional, it's easy to use. I also like that they have a "university" where you can stay up to date on your SMM skills.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes there are issues with images populating on certain social media sites.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm helping my clients maximize their marketing ability of their content and saving time doing it.

Sign up for as many university classes and go to their webinars.
Split Twitter into the things you care about
What do you like best about the product?
Our twitter feed has several "channels" that I care about- our clients, our competitors, and local news I need to be aware about. I use Hootsuite to separate out the "noise" and create quick and easy posts about the things my followers care about.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not exactly easy to find some of the features and how to use them for your industry.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The product makes my PR processes faster and easier.

What do you like best about the product?
How easy it is to use is great for newbies in the field. Very easy to train others.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly for what we use it for to market a school newspaper, I don't dislike anything. It's very easy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Marketing to readers of our student newspaper, both the print version and the online version.

If you need something to schedule posts for social media, Hootsuite is very easy to use.
I use Hootsuite Pro for my business and manage over 10 accounts with ease.

Schedule timing is limited, cannot view FB feed

Hootsuite is a good analytical tool and scheduler.
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to view various feeds in the same place, and being able to post to multiple platforms at the same time.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were more analytics available with the free version.

Hootsuite helps me keep track of multiple social feeds as well as schedule posts out for a week at a time. This saves a good deal of time and allows me to see if my posts are being viewed as well.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the fact that I can schedule tweets and LinkedIn posts, make lists to monitor my competitors on social media, and monitor different hashtags. It's so convenient to have all my feeds in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's hard to tell if your post is going to show up in the format you like. For example, sometimes my link previews don't show up the way I want them to on LinkedIn.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm solving the problem of not having to be tweeting while I'm out of the office because I have tweets scheduled. I can also keep my finger on the pulse of what people in my industry are discussing.
