What do you like best about the product?
I like that you can view multiple platforms and accounts on one site, back to back
What do you dislike about the product?
Hootsuite does not allow posting inside of events

We were having trouble managing multiple station accounts and platforms...it helps being able to manage it all in one place

You cant delete in bulk. Need training for some other parts of the program.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that it acts as a hub for social media posting/ scheduling. Plus you can instantly shorten URLs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing in particular. I am not an advanced user.

What do you like best about the product?
Manage multiple social media accounts with specific, unique, timed posts.
What do you dislike about the product?
Limited without paying for premium features, interface is a little clunky at times

Not having to post each day at the moment you want to post, manage multiple platforms at once. Able to have far broader impact with followers.

What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite was easy to use and intuitive. It made scheduling posts easy, even when using it for multiple clients. I found the layout attractive and easily customizable. I was able to manage multiple Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, WordPress, Foursquare and Google+ networks all from one place... I was able to schedule updates (including on a calendar and even upload from a spreadsheet (csv file) and collaborate as a team (delegate replies, tweets, mark as done, track messages etc). It worked as a Mobile apps (I use iOS) and allowed me to check work on the go. It also provieded customised analytics (including scheduled reports) and RSS integration (post updates from an RSS feed). Overall I also found it had a helpful and comprehensive support pages and friendly customer support team.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really can't remember many downsides to this product, except possibly the price. If you're a smaller business, or a one-man-band operation this might not be for you. Although Hootsuite has a free option, and the pro option is $14.99 per month (or effectively $9.99 per month if you pay yearly).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before this program, I was setting timers on my phone and posting items early in the morning. After being trained to use it I was able to thoughtfully schedule my posts, and stagger them during the most opportune times for our clients. It was a game-changer in terms of extending our reach.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do the trial period first and see if its something that would benefit you.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that you can integrate LinkedIn Groups and the Auto Scheduler feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing that I dislike but with they would add in integration with Google+ communities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automating our social posts and saving a lot of time on the posting side. Also, this has made are posts more effective.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
They also have a bulk message uploaded feature which is very helpful when trying to schedule out a lot of messages.

Full Social reach but also "reach for your wallet"!

What do you like best about the product?
That I can manage nearly ALL of my social media platforms (including different aspects of those platforms, e.g. Facebook profiles AND pages). I can choose to delegate replies, tweets, reply to messages to different people to better collaborate and streamline social feeds. Analytics following the platforms and can post updates from an RSS feed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some functions are limited like thumbnail issues in Facebook and engagement/reach issues.
To access tools that I really needed the prices started getting out of hand. You are drawn in for free and discounted but essential analytics and reporting start to get expensive. The URL shorten-er is ridiculously priced when there are superior options out there for a fraction of this cost.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping track of multiple social media platforms without loosing my mind! Able to broadcast activity or products to multiple platforms at one time.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
THey continue to add different functions and are reevaluating tools constantly. They also have great customer support and answer questions. They also provide great training and tutorial pages.

Easy, integrated, and inexpensive.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that I have everything in one platform, it's totally integrated. I use it for two compnaies I work for, which alleviates signing in and out constantly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do wish Instagram became more easy to use, but I understand that's a nature of Instagram being mroe of a mobile based platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are gaining more exposure and connecting our sites analytics with our social media insights - it's telling a real story and bringing us forward.

The Instagram integration - understanding how effective it is for you is important.

Great for managing social media

What do you like best about the product?
I can easily manage multiple twitter streams, learn about the people following them, and track messages coming in and out. It's easy to see what's going on.
What do you dislike about the product?
I removed a social network from my account, but Hootsuite keeps asking me to reconnect with it, and I can't figure out how to remove the message. That's annoying.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite makes it really easy to handle social media, and as long as that's a thing, I'll use it.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's really useful, especially if you use several social media platforms and want to track many other accounts.

What do you like best about the product?
It's useful for consolidating our media outlets. Honestly, I have never personally used this product. I tried to re-do the survey without selecting Hootsuite, but it made me select it. My review is based on what I remember of my boss's experience with Hootsuite.
What do you dislike about the product?
My boss disliked that we cannot add 2 Facebook accounts to our Hootsuite accounts. My boss's boss linked his Facebook account with Hootsuite, and since then, my boss cannot add our Communications Facebook page. She is the Director of Communications but cannot use Hootsuite now because our messages will not go to our Communications Facebook.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As the administration office of a school corporation, we have used Hootsuite in the past to simplify communication efforts with our various stakeholders, such as parents, news outlets, teachers, students, staff, community members, Board members, etc.
