    Staffing and Recruiting

Time-Saving Application

What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact that if I want to post an item to multiple social platforms, I can do so fairly easily and save a lot of time, as opposed to logging into each platform and posting separately. I manage the social media for a staffing agency, so being able to post our jobs across multiple platforms at once is a HUGE benefit.
What do you dislike about the product?
One capability I wish Hootsuite would provide, is the ability to re-post previous postings. I post jobs on a regular basis in our office, and it would be helpful to be able to re-post an item from the last week without having to rewrite it all over again.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I utilize Hootsuite to post items to our social media platforms all at once. I like that I can not only plan my posting schedule, but also implement and schedule postings into the future. My position is mainly task oriented, so being able to take care of (some) of my posts in advance is a great thing.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend having a good, separate source of content for posting. I've tried to utilize the "Suggestions" segment in the Publisher, and rarely to the suggested articles have anything to do with the keywords relating to our type of business (staffing/employment agency).

What do you like best about the product?
This tool is GREAT because it makes monitoring 8 different accounts with multiple social profiles very easy whether it is in desktop or though the app!
Love having the ability to schedule out Instagram posts.
Very Customizable to your needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes messages don't get sent, but you don't know until you look at the social platform. I have had experience where I am not notified about an Instagram send out. I do not like that I don't receive the invoice at a decent time every month. Not Hootsuite's fault but not being able to view the Instagram home feed to regram anymore is not ideal.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Time saving with scheduling and seeing analytics on what is working and what is not.

Convenient, Easy to Use Social Publishing Platform

What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite allows users to track activity on multiple social channels within one screen.
What do you dislike about the product?
When adding links to posts via Hootsuite, the platform uses it's own URL shortener rather than a custom branded bit.ly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Real-time social monitoring, crisis management, audience response.

What do you like best about the product?
ease of use, accessibility, organisation, the platforms available
What do you dislike about the product?
the font size could be larger, or have a scroll over to preview.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
overall planning for social media and marketing strategies. When everything is planned in advance it makes it that much easier to be prepared for what is ahead in the coming weeks.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Its a great tool for all organisations, I have used it in many business structures, for profit, non profit and volunteer organisations. I cannot say enough how much this saves time and really helps to keep marketing and teams on track.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to access all of our clients' social accounts with one master login, bulk uploads, the ability to delegate, organizational options
What do you dislike about the product?
No ability to pre upload images for bulk uploads

Time saver!

Take the time to have someone on your time do Hootsuite University. It's quick and worth it.

Set up columns so you can monitor keywords in the vicinity of your business, and hop into the conversation

What do you like best about the product?
I use Hootsuite basically just to schedule tweets. For my company's Facebook page and other social media, I just use the queuing features within each platform. So, given my very limited usage of the product, I'm totally satisfied.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that more of the analytics tools were available without the Pro account. I guess I can't blame Hootsuite for doing this, but, to reiterate, my usage of the platform is so minimal but I definitely would make use of more analytic features if they came with the basic account.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The obvious one -- this enables us to schedule tweets. Pretty utilitarian in that regard, though I'm imagining other users getting more expansive usage out of the product.

Clunky interface-- but gets the job done

What do you like best about the product?
It's like an early day bulk copier-- giant, gray, gets the job done.

If I need to login to our company accounts, great, they're there.
What do you dislike about the product?
Doesn't feel new in design or innovation. Seems like they have made a product and are just fine with it with no changes.

Nothing feels exciting about social media, the feed doesn't seem engaging, I am never looking forward to signing in and posting content for our page.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have to promote shows and keep active on social media across many channels with a small staff and limited resources.

Benefits of this are the bulk scheduling and promotional messaging. We are able to at least get the job done that we need to accomplish-- no frills.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Know that this product is not at the leading source of innovation.

Social Media Management Made Easy

What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to integrate and link accounts. It was painless and took seconds ti complete.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the interface a tad clunky. It isn't as streamlined and clean looking as I'd expect. The product works well, but I wish the UX was a little more clean and polished.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're finding ways to streamline our social media efforts. It has made our lives easier to post social media content and manage our pages in one place.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I think if you need an affordable and easy to use product for social media management, then HootSuite is right for you. I think there are some products out there that have a nicer looking platform, but for what it is, it works great!

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to manage all of your social media accounts on one platform.
Particularly, the paid version allows you to view all of the posts that are scheduled in a monthly calendar view.
This allows for seamless scheduling of material that doesn't overlap.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the confusing aspect of the team function. There's too many permissions and logins needed separately from each other in order to manage all accounts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Consolidating all of our team's marketing efforts into one website has proved to be very beneficial.
It also cuts down on labor hours.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I definitely recommend this product for individuals who are using less than 3 social media platforms.
However, things tend to get a bit pricey once the paid version is needed.

Hootsuite Great For Beginners in Social Media Realm.

What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite is a little more clumsy as an application, but it's still a very good platform for social media managers and community managers. The addition of Facebook Campaigns has really made the platform stand out from some of the other offerings. The content recommendations are also a nice touch as well!
What do you dislike about the product?
The layout for scheduling social media content is not the best in my opinion. The Campaigns section was in Beta the last time I used it but it could use some polishing when it comes to targeting and setting the demographics. I feel that the content recommendations are a little hit or miss when looking for more broad topics.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's easy for me to manage my clients profiles with this tool because I can manage different accounts and switch between them quickly. It's a big time saver.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a good tool to get started with if you're looking for an SM tool to get you started. It's not the best for those who consider themselves power users, but it is a step in the right direction when it comes to beginner social media management tools.
