One of the best in class options for social media content posting & social media analytics

What do you like best about the product?
In a space with so many social media content posting tools, I think what separates Hootsuite from the pack is their built-in approval workflow for posts, and their social media analytics tools that help us know how we are performing against benchmarks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hootsuite can get pricey if you need to manage a global enterprise with multiple regional channels. It's interface also is a little clunky, and unfortunately social platforms like LinkedIn are starting to prioritize advantages to posting natively within their platforms – all which makes us have to ask on an annual basis "Is the cost worth it to renew Hootsuite?" So far the answer has been yes, but Hootsuite is often walking a fine line there.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite gives us the ease of social media management across 15+ channels and on major platforms like LinkedIn, X, Facebook, and Instagram, all under one roof.

It makes scheduling content in advance convenient and gives a clear picture of what's coming up.

We've had some difficulty with posts failing to send after they've been scheduled.

It saves time and allows us to post content even when we're not in.

What do you like best about the product?
It has been a good platform to work with. There are a few glitches but our representative is always willing to find a fix. They like to do check ins often to make sure we are still liking what we pay for. It is fairly simple to learn how to use. If you have questions about it, the Hootsuite representatives are good to teach you how to use it. We use Hootsuite all day, every day.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a glitch with posting Instagram Reels sometimes. Hootsuite has yet to resolve our issue but they are working on it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It brings all of our platforms into one and makes it really easy to respond all in one place.

What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite is a reliable and comprehensive platform that supports our organization's multi-brand social media strategy with powerful tools for scheduling, analytics, listening, and employee advocacy that we use daily.

Key strengths include:

User-friendly scheduling tools that make it easy to plan and publish content across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and X, ensuring consistent and timely messaging across all clinic brands.

Robust analytics and reporting, which provide deep insights into post performance, audience engagement, and platform growth. These insights help guide content strategy and demonstrate ROI to stakeholders. Customizable reports and dashboards make it easy to track success at both a national and regional level.

Listening features, which allow our team to monitor conversations around key terms, brand mentions, and industry trends. This helps us stay informed about what matters to our audiences and respond to relevant conversations in real time.

Amplify, Hootsuite’s employee advocacy tool, empowers our associates to easily share approved, on-brand content to their personal LinkedIn and social platforms. This extends our reach, promotes our culture, and supports recruiting and brand awareness efforts.

We appreciate the quick response of their customer service team whenever we have any questions, their great training (both live and online Hootsuite Academy tutorials) and the feedback of our account rep on a monthly basis.

What do you dislike about the product?
While its interface can occasionally feel clunky with larger content libraries or multi-brand views, Hootsuite remains a solid choice for centralized social media management in a healthcare setting l—where compliance, consistency, and scheduling efficiency are essential.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite solves several key challenges for our social media team:

Centralized scheduling and publishing: With 23 brands under or corporate umbrella, Hootsuite allows us to plan, schedule, and manage all social content across many social media pages from one platform. This saves time, reduces manual errors, and ensures consistency in messaging.

Team collaboration and approvals: The platform makes it easy for multiple team members to collaborate on content while maintaining clear workflows for review and approval. This is especially important in a healthcare setting where compliance and brand voice are critical.

Social listening: Hootsuite’s listening tools help us monitor mentions, keywords, and industry conversations so we can stay ahead of trends, respond to questions or concerns quickly, and identify opportunities for engagement or thought leadership.

Analytics and performance tracking: We rely on Hootsuite’s analytics to measure what’s working across different platforms and brands. The ability to create custom reports helps us track growth, prove the value of our efforts, and continually improve our strategy.

Some essential features (like analytics, team collaboration, or multiple users) are only available on more expensive plans.

Inconsistent Posting and Missed Opportunities
Problem: It’s hard to maintain a consistent posting schedule, especially across platforms and time zones.

What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite is such a reliable social media management tool. Through my various roles in social media over the years, Hootsuite has been a go-to. Whether I was working on strategy with their Hootsuite Analytics, scheduling content with the Planner/Calendar features or managing digital communities through the Inbox, I knew I could rely on Hootsuite as the key tool to accomplish what I needed. It has ample features, analytics and internal team usage tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only significant downsides I've experienced with Hootsuite is 1) the downsizing of the account management team over the year, which has led to difficult communication with the team running things. Thank goodness the tool speaks for itself, or this would be a much bigger drawback. 2) I'd like to see more in depth integration of Threads, though I know Meta may have something to do with the connection across the tool and platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In my current role, my primary focus is community management. The updated Inbox 2.0 is a very sophisticated social customer care tool that we are still learning more features of to use and better our external communication. In addition, my team uses Analytics to assess our content performance, and using the Planning feature to schedule all of our monthly organic social content.

What do you like best about the product?
I have used Hootsuite for years to promote several no-profits with which I am affiliated, and most recently as part of my Univeristy's social sharing program. I log into Hootsuite a few times a week to see what content my organization would like shared this week. With a few clicks, I can promote content that is meaningful to me, and to my social media audience. Hootsuite makes it easy to perosnalize posts using AI to craft unique and meaningful messages. I wouldn't be nearly as organized or prolific on line without Hootsuite.

I'd like to see opprtunities to share on Bluesky
