Great tool, great team, always improving.
What do you like best about the product?
Rocketlane is a robust tool that our team can customize to fit various needs and use cases. We found it compelling that in the free trial, their team partnered with us to help us visualize what our processes would look like and were there every step of the way.
What do you dislike about the product?
As with any tool, there are growing pains. They are still new and growing, so we do occasionally run into bugs or some usability issues that we didn't experience with our previous tool. That being said, their team has always responded quickly and resolved problems fast. What is more important to me than the issues (because there will always be issues) is how you respond to them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Rocketlane for customer onboarding - so every new customer who we sign gets a project spun up in rocketlane and we use it to guide them through our onboarding process.

Just what we were looking for
What do you like best about the product?
Rocketlane was the perfect solution for our customer onboarding process. We have a very unique product and process for planning upcoming jobs and installs and Rocketlane allows for a very clear, transparent view of the entire process and steps needed to keep the project moving along. It is also great that links, documents, and communication can all be done inside of rocketlane, allowing our entire team AND the customer's team and any stakeholder to have access. Other software we tried missed on the actual onboarding process and had too much other stuff we didn't need. Rocketlane is very focused, to the point, yet very feature-rich. Also, their customer support is super responsive, helpful, and easily accessible via chat on the home screen!
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some features that we would like to see added, but the tech support team took our suggestions and put them into the process of developing them! And in the meantime, they helped us find work arounds such as zapier and other items.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Rocketlane has allowed us to simplify and clearly lay out a once very intimidating and daunting process for our customers. Previously, non-savy customers would balk at everything we asked of them and some would leave upset, confused, or even wanting to cancel their order as it seemed like too much work. With Rocketlane, we can break up our processes, info gathering, training, and other milestone requirements into bite-sized, easily digestible content that clearly lays out expectations and progress. Also, allowing the customer to bring other stakeholders and communicate with stakeholders and us on the platform if they get stuck saves everyone's email and keeps the history where it should be, not buried in an inbox.
One of the best task management tools out there
What do you like best about the product?
Extremely easy to create projects/tasks and collaborate with other teams. The progress bar on the tool is also pretty cool. The UI is super clean unlinke other task management tools that look very clunky.
What do you dislike about the product?
Absolutely, no negatives that I can think of.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Has greatly helped in reducing the time taken in completing a task.
Outstanding solution to collaborate with your clients for onboarding
What do you like best about the product?
Super-easy to build a repeatable onboarding process for your clients with Rocketlane. You can ramp up new customer success reps faster and make sure they're delivering a consistent brand experience. The templates and dynamic task templates are amazing.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not easy to rearrange tasks by using drag and drop. The same limitation applies to task groups as well. But I hope the Rocketlane team can make this UX improvement soon.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to organise and assign tasks to our clients using Rocketlane projects. It also makes it easier for us to organise task-specific communications which otherwise is impossible to handle through multiple email threads.
Great and Thoughtful Solution for Client Implementations
What do you like best about the product?
We're excited to use Rocketlane as our first software application for client implementations. It has a very user-friendly Project Plan functionality and collaborative Spaces that can be customized and used as areas to collaborate with clients/other users. Their Magic Link sign in process is a must-have feature, because users (our clients) do not have to be concerned with remembering another user name and password. The Rocketlane team is great to work with, and are deploying new functionality quite rapdily and in very thoughtful ways.
What do you dislike about the product?
The experienced team at Rocketlane is moving very quickly, but it's still a new product. We are excited to see them continue to build more customization so that Rocketlane customers can further customize their client experiences.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were looking for an easy to use and secure portal where our clients could visit to see the status of their implementation, and access key reference documents. Rocketlane makes that process easy!

Rocketlane has helped us get started with customer onboarding. It has given us shared visibility on onboarding projects with our customers. There is a clear demarcation of responsibilities & the timely reminders also help us stick to timelines and keep the customer engaged. On top of it, you have the ability to manage conversations within the tool which replaces multiple email threads with the customers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Has a lot of features that might look overwhelming at the beginning but the team is always there to respond and help with questions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Rocketlane aids in improving time to value. You have the ability to track the progress on a task at every critical juncture which helps us stay updated with our customers. It has been a gamechanger in terms of improving the onboarding experience for both our customers and internal teams

What do you like best about the product?
The team is a pleasure to work with and their solution is easy to use. We can use Rocketlane to collaborate with customers on important projects or processes where transparency is key. We're literally on the same page and everyone knows who is doing what and when to expect results.
What do you dislike about the product?
The team imported my massive project plan template as I needed to upload it before that was feature was available. I'm looking forward to being able to import my CSV files from other project management system to quickly create the templates I need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For us it's transparency. It's really important that the customer be aware of all the things we're doing to ensure they are successful. We don't need credit but it's important they understand that we are continually engaging and delivering per our agreed upon SOW.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're doing PS work with customers and need them to be involved with or continually informed of your progress, this is a great solution for your team. Your customer will appreciate it.

Sometimes when we change timelines for a particular task we have to manually update the dates on the subtasks which is a little time consuming but overall its a great product

As we were growing we needed a tool to streamline our customer onboarding process and have to have a place to check the progress and status of all the projects
Rocketlane Implementation
What do you like best about the product?
The overall experience with the Rockelane application. When searching for an application for our PMO, we reviewed several project management applications, Rocketlane kept coming up as the best for our needs. Client engagement, intuitiveness, and support are game-changers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Since we are still very early in the process, I don't have any dislikes at this point. The team at Rocketlane have been supportive through the deployment and have commited to using our feedback on specific enhancements. No show-stoppers yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaborative project management with the customer and ease of use to deploy our SaaS applications efficiently. The ability to oversee multiple projects at the same time are key.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Rocketlane was developed specifically by Project Managers, so it provides my team all the necessary functionality to quickly set up collaborative projects with our clients. The personal care and support through implementation is fantastic. Comparing the experience with other PMO tools, Rocketlane is the clear choice
