Versatile and Efficient with Great Logging Features

    Reviewed on Sep 15, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
I use a lot of features within MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, like the design center exchange, API manager, and runtime manager regularly in my software development life cycle. The enhanced version, Omni Gateway, is impressive with features that track API usage, helping me understand performance metrics. The AI options available are well-organized, and I'm impressed every day by them. The logging and monitoring features out of the box are fantastic for tracking messages consistently, even past logs, helping me identify transaction issues quickly. I like the platform's centralized nature to track all AI, LLM, MCP, and APIs in one place, making it easy for me to search for actively working and deployed entities.
What do you dislike about the product?
I did encounter some learning curves with setting up the network rules and VPCs initially. However, it was not too complicated overall, and I actually enjoyed the process quite a bit.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
MuleSoft Anypoint Platform helps me by providing extensive logging and monitoring features, allowing me to track past events, find missed transactions, and understand failures. Its centralized platform enhances tracking of AI and APIs, which assists in managing and applying fixes effectively.

Powerful API-Led Integration and Centralized Management with MuleSoft

    Reviewed on Sep 15, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
MuleSoft provides a strong enterprise integration platform for connecting Salesforce with APIs and backend systems. I like the API-led approach, reusable integrations, centralized management and the ability to standardize how services are exposed and consumed across different systems.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main drawback is complexity. Development, deployment and troubleshooting can require specialist knowledge, and the platform can become difficult to manage at scale without strong governance. Licensing and infrastructure costs can also be significant for large enterprise implementations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
MuleSoft helps us connect Salesforce and other enterprise systems through reusable APIs and managed integrations. It reduces point-to-point integration complexity, standardizes how systems exchange data, and improves governance and monitoring. This makes integrations easier to maintain, reuse and scale while reducing duplicate development effort across teams.

Seamless API-Led Integration with Strong Monitoring, Security, and Governance

    Reviewed on Sep 15, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about MuleSoft Anypoint Platform is how seamlessly it connects applications, data, and systems through a unified integration platform. It streamlines API development, management, and monitoring, which supports faster delivery of integrations and digital services. The reusable, API-led connectivity approach reduces development effort, improves scalability, and helps organizations move their digital transformation initiatives forward more quickly. I also value the platform’s monitoring, security, and governance capabilities, as they make it easier to manage integrations across both cloud and on-premises environments while maintaining reliability and compliance.
What do you dislike about the product?
While MuleSoft Anypoint Platform is a powerful option for API-led integration, it comes with a few notable challenges. Licensing and infrastructure costs can be high, which can be especially difficult for smaller organizations. There’s also a steep learning curve for new developers, since it requires familiarity with Mule flows, DataWeave, and core API management concepts. When integrations become complex, debugging can be time-consuming, and performance tuning may require specialized expertise. Additionally, organizations can become somewhat dependent on the MuleSoft ecosystem, which can make future migrations harder. Overall, the platform is robust, but the main drawbacks are cost, complexity, and the ongoing maintenance effort.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
MuleSoft Anypoint Platform is helping us address critical integration and data accessibility challenges as part of our business transformation initiatives. We rely on MuleSoft to connect both legacy and modern systems, provide secure, API-driven access to customer and billing data, and streamline data exchange across multiple platforms. The platform benefits our team by reducing integration complexity, speeding up delivery, improving data consistency, and enabling reusable APIs that support multiple business capabilities. As a result, we can focus more on customer-facing enhancements and migration initiatives, while reducing our reliance on custom point-to-point integrations. MuleSoft’s governance, monitoring, and scalability capabilities also help us maintain reliable and secure data integrations across the enterprise.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
