What do you like best about the product?
Huge no of connectors for different source system
Easy of use
Highly customizable (you can use scripting languages)
Single point for all activities - configuration, deployment, execution

What do you dislike about the product?
Scheduler - I won't say I don't like it. Instead it could have been better. The logs generated through should be more verbose (similar to how we get logs in Informatica).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Business problems we are solving:
1. Integration of more than one system into common platoform
2. ETL functionality
Benefits:
1. It is one for all kind of system. You don't need separate systems for integration, ETL and so on. You can tweak mulesoft and make it work for all your needs.
2. Common platform for master data management
3. It really serves purpose of Enterprise service Bus.

I will surely recommend to others based on following metrics.

However, before finalizing we should look for all possible options and do the evaluation. Sometimes Apache Kafka can also play a vital role as per needs.

Anypoint Platform Experience - for a Novice
What do you like best about the product?
The Tool really is does a great job when it comes to API Design(RAML), Documentation - using the features for exposing the details to Consumer using API Portal. API Notebook is another cool feature where I am yet to explore many things.
What do you dislike about the product?
Design Time Governance is lacking. If the API Design Lifecycle is also available then the enforcement of Design Time Governance will be great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

What do you like best about the product?
I was recently introduced to Mulesoft and anypoint studio and found it very helpful. Very good collection of connectors.
What do you dislike about the product?
Logging feature of anypoint studio can be improved. It can be made more error specific and user friendly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Integration of disparate systems has become very easy with anypoint studio with its wide array of connectors and new data weave feature.

Some features are deprecated and have not been updated in documentation properly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have been creating connectors in Anypoint platform. Benefits like easy deployment, quick testing are appreciable.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Anypoint platform is easy to use tool. I have an experience using it in connector development, so I can suggest you to go for it. Connecting it with other APIs can be done in fraction of time considering sound programming background as a prerequisite.
Enterprise Integration - time is the key!
What do you like best about the product?
I have been working as the architect on integration project using Mulesoft recently. The best benefit to me is the quick delivery of re-usable API on Mulesoft ESB. This gives me the lead time to drive the whole integration project. It also gives the business the confidence that the project delivery can be met in time.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have been dealing well with my Mulesoft Developers. The only problem is the documentation from the development team is lagging as the development goes so fast :)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are building up the ordering solution to integrate with billing platform. Mulesoft ESB serves as the middle layer to route, transform, orchestrate messages from/to billing platform.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Mulesoft provides the whole suite of development tools, learning materials, and cloud support. The API orchestration layer is fantastic as it is easy to pick up, powerful, and easy to change.

My best part would be Transformers especially transforming data with datsense and dataweave

Sometimes we need to take deep dive to understand the problem.

What do you like best about the product?
For the beginners who starting their carrier with integration anypoint makes their work easy and flexy.
Understanding is so easy and with in no time we can start integration. All are ready to use in this anypoint.

When we do datamapping using datamapper and mule xml with heavy load / code its little bit slow while opening those files.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Basically we work on integrating different systems. Till now we connected many source and target systems and FTP,SFTP,SAP,PGP,Expenses etc. No need to worry about code starting for components. when we drag them in canvas we can modify the component.

Make sure its should not be slow when we deal with lot of code/mappings

Any beginner can use if they know to use eclipse based tools. Drag and drop options to write flow and setting up properties/configuration settings. We can develop interfaces very fast.

Consumes more memory. At times, its get restarted/crashes automatically due to memory issues

when you first begin with anypoint studio its easy and convinient for quick learning and experimenting

it requires a minimum of 4gb ram memory. and anything less than that the software wont work
