What is our primary use case?
My main use case for CleverTap is to keep track records of users and create automated campaigns regarding email, SMS, and push notifications as per user events. I also use it for showcasing pop-ups. CleverTap helps me improve my business by enabling me to understand user behaviors, what device they use, their location, and much more. It aids me with marketing, testing, and more. The analytics help me know how many events I triggered, if users engaged, and whether users interacted with the campaigns or not. CleverTap also has the functionality to deliver messages immediately or at a specific time, which is very helpful. Event tracking for my users helps me build cohorts for push notifications and other action items, and my support team uses CleverTap to identify and troubleshoot issues.
Analytics and customer engagement are also great, especially the behavioral analytics. It has enabled me to create targeted campaigns for specific segments, analyze campaign performance, and make marketing decisions based on the engagement data.
What is most valuable?
The best features CleverTap offers include multi-platform engagement, funnel data, and marketing automation options.
Among those features, I find event tracking, user profiles, cohorts based on attributes, and visualization of data to be the most impactful. Overall, it helps enhance user experience, increase engagement, and keep track of events such as which user clicked which event and what actions were taken.
CleverTap has positively impacted my organization by saving manual work through automation, as it most probably saves thirty to forty percent of my manual work every day. It helps in real-time marketing, and I appreciate that CleverTap is not expensive compared to some of the competitors in the market, making it very cost-effective. However, some bugs have led me not to capture certain user events, which needs improvement.
What needs improvement?
CleverTap can be improved by enhancing the tracking of specific users for certain functionalities.
I would also suggest that CleverTap should make its interface much simpler and more user-friendly for new users and provide a module for better understanding.

I give CleverTap an eight out of ten because it has been a great tool compared to other tools, very cost-effective, and easy to use. It has helped me increase my customer engagement, deliver the right information at the right time to users, and enhance my marketing strategies through promotional emails.
What about the implementation team?
When I say forty percent of manual work is saved, I mean CleverTap helps in creating automated campaigns for various platforms and even includes event-triggered functionality while also providing template functionality to design templates according to my needs.

I have definitely seen a return on investment, as automation helps me save time, increase engagement, retention, and activation and reactivation.

The different types of events help in real-time data and create live segments, while trigger-based campaigns can help resolve drops in the app's website journey. CleverTap is a great and very recommendable tool.
I think CleverTap is an awesome tool if you have a mobile app and want your customers to access it constantly. It fits very easily into your marketing department's schedule and can be used by many users simultaneously.

Segmentation is robust, the journey builder has been dependable, and the reporting and dashboards make it straightforward to track performance and keep iterating across our different verticals.
We rely on Clevertap to run journeys and campaigns across email, WhatsApp, web and mobile popups, web push, and mobile push.
At VSF, CleverTap is our central CRM for Sadhana App, Tantra Sadhana, Black Lotus, AstroSadhana, Sadhana Tablet, and Sadhana Shop, spanning both our apps and our websites/landing pages.

At scale, it can start to feel complex - we needed strong discipline around event naming, property definitions, and campaign structure across multiple verticals.
And when we’re trying to answer very specific questions (for example, debugging a drop-off within a particular journey branch), the analysis can sometimes require extra effort or an export to get to the bottom of it.

It helps us centralize lifecycle marketing across products and platforms, rather than relying on separate tools for each channel.
We can coordinate messaging across app and web, automate onboarding, nurture, and reactivation flows, and measure results in one place.

I find the strategy plan and the platform itself very valuable. Additionally, their statistics system through events conducted in the application in Analytics is good, as it provides me with the necessary information and analyses to make decisions.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like CleverTap to improve its preview function in campaigns. It would be very helpful to have some kind of message preview in campaigns that are native display. Additionally, I found that the initial setup was not so easy since there are sections of the platform that are a bit complicated to understand.
