What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite has been a reliable tool for our social media management for the past 7 years. Its user-friendly interface and extensive support resources make it easy to navigate, even for beginners. The platform’s robust analytics allows us to delve deep into our social media performance, providing valuable insights to inform our strategy. Readily available customer support through chat, contract manager, and discussion forums.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Hootsuite offers excellent value for money, there are a few areas where it could improve. Occasional technical glitches can be frustrating, especially when it comes to features like LinkedIn tagging and Instagram Story scheduling. Additionally, the ability to edit scheduled posts across all platforms would be a significant time-saver.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite streamlines social media management by consolidating multiple platforms into one dashboard. This simplifies post scheduling, analytics, and team collaboration. By automating tasks and providing valuable insights, Hootsuite helps us save time, increase efficiency, and make data-driven decisions.

What do you like best about the product?
Customizing post for invidividual platforms like being able to edit photos without having to open photoshop, tailoring copy to the different platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
They can be behind on what the platforms are doing. Instagram allows 20 pics per carousel but, hootsuite only allows 10 right now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have many socia media accounts throughout our organization. Hootsuite allows us to manage all of them in one area. It's a mess when I do have to open the individual platforms to do things.

What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite is a fantastic tool – I’d give it a solid 9/10. It’s streamlined my social media work, keeping all my platforms organized and making it easy to stay on top of scheduling.

Their customer support team is incredibly responsive and quick to solve any issues, which has really helped smooth over any minor setbacks. Overall, it’s a reliable, nearly perfect tool with a few quirks – but the great support makes up for it!
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally, Hootsuite stumbles: scheduled posts sometimes don’t publish perfectly, and the reporting can be slightly off, especially when I need precise statistics.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite helps me streamline social media management by centralizing scheduling, tracking analytics, and monitoring audience engagement across platforms. It saves time, keeps my posts organized, and provides helpful insights to improve content strategy.

What do you like best about the product?
After using one of their competitors in the social media space for more than five years, we wanted to find a solution that offered more flexibility in our contract arrangements and give us room to grow as an agency without breaking the bank. We also needed to make sure that we were not sacrificing on the essential social media management features that made it easy for us to work with our clients. The pricing at Hootsuite is transparent, and even though we needed a customized package to fit our needs, the team at Hootsuite was easily available to discuss options and quickly provide us with a proposal. Hootsuite even offered us a certain amount of platform time free upfront in order to facilitate our transition between our old service provider and their platform. This was very much appreciated.

The support of the Hootsuite team through the setup process made it very easy for our teams to integrate this platform in to our workflow and to transition our clients. The structured on boarding process with a dedicated trainer might have been a bit much for some, but for companies who have never used Hootsuite this is a way to make sure your team members are armed with as much knowledge as they need to make full use of the platform when they start.

HootSuite has all of the standard features you would need for managing the social media accounts of multiple clients as an agency or as a freelancer. It includes drafts and published posts for sharing content, workflows for approval, inboxes for message monitoring and community management, analytics, and social listening out of the box (enterprise package). The calendar is viewable in different time periods and offers a few options for exporting or sharing with clients. For agencies with multiple teams or members managing different accounts, HootSuite has a very handy dashboard set up view where each team member can configure their own personalize view of accounts they want to keep a closer eye on.
What do you dislike about the product?
We didn't expect that we would be able to get every single feature we were accustomed to with our previous provider from HootSuite at a price point that was significantly less per month while supporting the same number of clients. One of the essential features for agencies is calendar sharing for approval with clients. This feature is less "polished" with fewer options and more limitations than it was with our previous platform. Exporting rich text or interactive calendars is limited to a short time period. This may be OK for some users depending on your social media cycle but it is important to get a free trial to have your teams fully test out the workflows before committing so you can decide if this is a deal breaker or not. However, it is also important to note that the platform is working towards future improvements and that they were able to quickly provide a solution to the calendar sharing limitations so that we could continue servicing our clients as close to our usual standard as possible.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As an agency, managing dozens of clients, across multiple countries with teams working remotely from various locations, Hootsuite provides a stable platform for monitoring social media channels in one place as well as producing and publishing social media content. At a time where there is much economic uncertainty and companies need to be able to pivot quickly to maintain profitability, Hootsuite offers affordable pricing with flexible contract arrangements that can grow with your operation as needed.

What do you like best about the product?
In my opinion, the strengths of Hootsuite are as follows:

- It provides a user-friendly platform that is easy and pleasant to navigate, which is important considering we using it at least 7 times à day.

- It covers a wide range of aspects related to social media management, including content scheduling, a centralized inbox, reporting tools, monitoring features, and more, making it an extremely valuable tool for a Social Media Manager. Every tool is easy to used and to integrate into our daily routine. The implementation is pretty easy as well.

- The team and customer service at Hootsuite are highly dedicated and diligent in their follow-ups. A special recognition goes to Jarred and Srinidhi for keeping us informed about new products and industry trends! Really appreciated.

- Hootsuite is really open to receive constructive feedback (which is again demostrared with this review).

In summary, I would recommend Hootsuite to anyone who is either new to social media management or does not require all the specific features offered by every individual social platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
From a more constructive point of view, it feels features are missing when it comes to publishing content or creating more in-depth content reports.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite saves me time in the following aspects of my work:

It provides a quick overview of all our social accounts.

It centralizes all my messages in one place.

It enables me to produce social reports more quickly.

It allows me and my team to post on different social platforms in just a few clicks.

What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite has great analytics that help us see different metrics that are positively or negatively impacting us.

Hoosuite has been very responsive to us when we have needed to open a support ticket in the past.

Webinars sent to us to join are very helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have noticed there are minor updates to the interface. Although helpful changes, we would like to be made aware of any changes to the interface so we can take full advantages of your improvements.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite is allowing us to have script templates available for our agents to use in the same application when responding to a customers comment/message. This allows us to not have to go to a different document to obtain these.

What do you like best about the product?
being able to work across multiple accounts and have visibility of our schedule. It makes working with teams across different locations and timezones possible.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not all the same functionality as posting natively.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We need strict governance over access to our channels for different levels and roles. We need to coordinate across multiple accounts, platforms, locations and timezones. We need to be able to anaylse and report on social media perfomance across our global social media estate.

What do you like best about the product?
I find the user experience to be very intuitive and clean, it feels very simple, like everything is where it should be! I use Hootsuite for everything, including content planning, calendar management, approving content, community management, and employee advocacy. My account manager and customer success manager are very helpful and attentive to my needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
It feels like each add on for users is a big jump, I can't grow my team in small increments.

Managing all of my content, approving posts, etc.
