Solving the time it takes to regularly tweet and share via FB

  • February 23, 2017
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to include multiple accounts, schedule postings across them, and decide what to post where
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd like to be able to divide different accounts into groups, so that I have a smaller chance of posting to the wrong accounts
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Marketing; we've had greater engagement with our services, and greater attention to our offerings

Great price for posting, scheduling and listening across dozens of social media platforms

  • February 21, 2017
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Listening! there are lots of scheduling platforms, but Hoot suite allows you to monitor hashtags, words and people that makes it infinitely more easy to track campaigns. With the purchase of AdEspresso they are completely knocking all competition out of the park
What do you dislike about the product?
Why do they charge more for basic reports and graphs?! It is seriously all automated and getting what I need for me and clients has to be made so much more difficult. Other companies offer this for less than what they are asking, but I d 't want to be in different apps
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For me, the 2 big ones are scheduling one post across platforms and into groups, and 2) monitoring specific campaigns
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Just get started adding your accounts and groups. When you can send one post to 10 different spots saving you an hour - you'll be done!

Great Tool for Small Business

  • February 17, 2017
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Simple, easy to use dashboard that organizes all of your social feeds in one spot

Post scheduling

Growing list of widgets to add
What do you dislike about the product?
The tool has become less robust since Facebook and Instagram changed their API and you can't see the facebook newsfeed or instagram feed of your friends
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Trying to solve the struggle of social media automation and find the best ways to reach our target market

Great organization tool

  • February 16, 2017
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The ease to personalize various aspects so that you have what you need. The ability to track analytics and performance is great too.
What do you dislike about the product?
The lack of true connectivity with Instagram. I realize this isn't an issue based on Hootsuite, rather something related to Instagram. It would be ideal for all social media platforms to have instant connectivity similar to Facebook and Twitter, rather than a multi-step process that is required in Instagram.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Connecting with current and past customers. We are a youth development organization, so having the ability to easily and consistently connect with participants, parents and staff is great.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
With a free 30-day trial there's not a lot to lose! Definitely give it a try!

Keeps me from going down the rabbit hole...

  • February 14, 2017
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can manage all social accounts from one dashboard, without succumbing to the temptation of being sucked into the newsfeed.
It's convenient for monitoring and responding to mentions in one spot, as well as scheduling out posts. I can spend half an hour and have posts set up for the next few days.
The Hootlet browser extension also makes it very easy to schedule an interesting post as you come across it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Uploading tweets via the CSV method can be finnickity. You can get the hang of it after a while, but then it rejects your upload for no apparent reason. Otherwise, I like that you're able to schedule up to 350 tweets at once.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating a more efficient process for managing and monitoring social media.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Get the Hootlet extension- it will save you loads of time.

Social Media Junk Drawer

  • February 14, 2017
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It can do pretty much everything you'd want to do with social media like scheduling/ analytics and managing multiple accounts.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's a pretty dated design. It kind of feels like you're using Wordpress. It's easy enough to figure out how to get around Hoosuite, but I wish it'd get a fresh coat of paint.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have several social media accounts that rely on scheduling posts months ahead of time. We also run an annual conference where we have to track hashtags throughout the week and it gives some pretty robust stats- at least enough for us to use.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You can't really go wrong with Hootsuite, but there are other options out there that seem to be a little more streamlined and updated like Buffer.

Amazing for Smaller Companies

  • February 14, 2017
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to create posts months in advance on an array of different social networks - and see all networks on the same user profile.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that you had more control over the 'schedule post for me' functionality. For example. I wish I could say "post this for me at the best time on Monday through Friday, 8-5p". I feel like whenever I've done the "post for me", it's posted at like 10p - a time when my audience is not using the platforms for professional use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Trying to engage my community on social networks - something that is new to this industry.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you need to be able to schedule posts far into the future, and don't want to pay for a platform to be able to do so, Hootsuite is for you.
