What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuites suite of products is robust and their free model is sufficient for many small orgs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sadly, when it comes to trying to implement a large scale social strategy in a decentralized organization the cost associated with Hootsuites product line is enormous.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A social dashboard is intended to streamline operations and encourage collaboration.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Have a big budge and a plan.

Ok for small scale

What do you like best about the product?
I liked being able to watch the live feed and organize each platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
I felt like there weren't too many features for what I was needing. It is great for small scale social listening, but I need very specific features for my position.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I only used it for about 6 months. It was easier to just organize my platforms manually due to the lack of options.

What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to type out and schedule my posts ahead of time so I do not need to take the time to do it in the middle of my busy day. The push notifications received at the time to schedule the post can be helpful as well. It enables me to "set it and forget it" until it is time to publish the post.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although I like that they have a notification feature, the arrival of notifications can be wonky. Sometimes a notification won't be delivered to my phone and I'll go all day before remembering that I needed to share the post. It also would be nice to have it more integrated with photo editing. I have to go into Instagram to set the filter for the photo before uploading it to Hootsuite.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use this app to set all of our social media posts in one go. I will set aside a specific time each week or two to draft up and schedule all posts for the coming weeks. By taking care of social media all at once, I can then focus on other projects without interruption.

Overall, it isn't the best product out there, but it helps alleviate some stress when putting together social media posts.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a simple product but one that gets the job done if you just need a reminder to send your posts to social media.

What do you like best about the product?
Very intuitive, easy to use interface. Provides transparency across an organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some features that are a bit buggy - like editing a scheduled post results in a blank "schedule a post" window after saving your changes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Transparency across the organization with regard to what posts are going out when.

Too many tweets from Hootsuite and they can't be deleted.

I like the fact we can schedule social media messages in advance and know they will be released when we designate.
What do you dislike about the product?
Haven't found anything yet - so far I've enjoyed all use.

What do you like best about the product?
I loved the flexibility and personalization the platform allows. It was easy to create one post to go across multiple channels, and make sure the character counts, image links and tags were optimized depending on stream.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI seemed a bit jumbled and hard to navigate. It felt like I needed to dig really deep into the rabbit hole just to find old, or scheduled posts. If I wanted to change something I needed to find it first - which took forever.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Management of multiple streams.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Learn to use it properly first. It's not exactly user friendly so I recommend getting any/all training.
