Hootsuite succeeds at automating social media across the board

What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite streamlines the process of posting social media and allows for a myriad of content to be accessible with just a few clicks. The software is very clean and very user friendly across the board. Additionally, I liked the ability to switch between multiple accounts with ease.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hootsuite was generally very reliable but in some rare instances would become buggy. This would sometimes make me fearful that I couldn't rely on the software during important times with my company.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite allowed my company to have a stronger presence on social media - specifically Twitter. We were able to grow our followers and engage with our readers on a greater level.

All your social media... in one place!

What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can go to one place to see all of my social media accounts. There are a lot of applications that can use it. I like that I can manage my acting career a lot easier now than before where I had to go back and forth trying to make sure I didn't double post or miss a post on a certain platform. There is a way to do that on the specific apps but the view ends up looking very different than how I would like it would be seen.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't a lot to dislike. Maybe more nit picky things more than anything. I would use it more if there was more on-branding for actors. The set up is a bit confusing at first. I definitely recommend getting assistance from the little helper guy. I wish it almost had everything set up and if I wanted to pull back on what I was viewing or the content I was seeing, then I could just "X" out of them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am trying to keep track of how people view me as a brand. However, this issue is as an actor, its harder to track. There are a lot of benefits as far seeing how each post or content I post is across all social media outlets.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking for consolidating your social media, this is the place to be!

What do you like best about the product?
Strong Twitter game requires relevancy and frequency. Hootsuite allows for easy scheduling of Tweets as well as the ability to edit ad hoc. The reports were solid.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pretty good tool, have had issues with the scheduling calendar in the past but nothing major

Having a consistent social presence for a couple of hours a week

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to schedule posts in advance and have multiple accounts at my fingertips in one location.
What do you dislike about the product?
While it's an improvement to be able to schedule Instagram at all, it's still a pain to have to finish the post on mobile. Also, I've had issues with photos posting through properly on twitter.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest problem this has helped to solve is time management during busy seasons. All of those pre-game posts on a busy game day can now be done in advance.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can schedule posts in advance and only have to write them up once to apply to many accounts. I also like that I can have a newsfeed right on the platform and retweet directly from there.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform often stops responding and I have to refresh the browser. It also has a weird function when I choose the user I want a post to come from some unrelated dropdown gets in the way.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am saving time by scheduling posts and applying them to multiple accounts while keeping tabs on all of our activity across platforms. I also can keep track of other industry accounts on a stream. It significantly minimizes the number of screens I need up at one time, which slows my computer.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is very easy, but just in case there are tutorials to help figure it out. High recommend.

Great all-in-one social media manager

What do you like best about the product?
I love the fact that I can post to all of my social channels from the same place, using the correct formatting for each platform. I can even manage my freelance clients' social channels using the same software. Brilliant!
What do you dislike about the product?
The mobile app is a little challenging to navigate. I would prefer something with a more visual interface, but it's definitely something I can move past.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've been able to solve the constant headache of keeping social channels up-to-date in an organized manner. Now, I can see everything at a glance and have control over a surprising amount of detail with very little effort.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Just give it a shot! You won't be disappointed.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to set up and manage design, especially when you use lists for management. I like that searches can be tailored to location. It's helpful that Instagram is integrated, too. I use Hootsuite to schedule and plan for multiple accounts, and can always count on them to go out on time. I love that it can move seamlessly to mobile.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't much I don't like about it. It's my go-to social media management tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have several accounts I am managing and this helps me keep them organized and updated without too much additional work on my part.

Hootsuite is a must-have for any social media manager

What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite allows me to schedule social media posts days, weeks, even months ahead of time. Because my job requires so many other tasks, I can't always give my social media the time it needs on a daily basis. But I can carve out time every couple of weeks to go ahead and pre-load my posts and have them ready to go when they're relevant or just a couple times a day, if I prefer. It's great. I also love that they're adding new social media outlets, like YouTube and LinkedIn. Plus I can manage multiple accounts from one dashboard, which just makes things that much easier. The mobile app is amazing for posting to all my accounts while on the go, as well. I can't imagine staying on top of my social accounts without it.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I wish could be incorporated is the ability to batch upload posts with images. Currently, you can do a mass upload of text posts with a CSV file, which is great. But I post a lot on Instagram, plus images just get better views on Facebook and Twitter too. So I try to add images to most of my posts. But I do have to go in and post each post individually that way. Hootsuite is still a massive time-saver, but having an interface to do multiple posts at once with images would make it even more efficient for the user.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I work for a nonprofit that really needed to up our social media presence. But with a small staff and so many other needs, there isn't enough time to dedicate solely to posting on social sites. Hootsuite has made it possible to have a constant social media presence, without having to constantly be on our social pages. And it frees me up to post other relevant content as it comes up, in addition to my scheduled posts. Our reach on all social outlets has greatly increased since I started using Hootsuite.

Hashtag tracking, influencers, product reviews for social media management.

The benefit of Hootsuite is it keeps all the things I need to track in one place.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're looking to use Hootsuite as a tool for easy tracking, monitoring, and management, this is the right software. It is easy to navigate, however, it does limit you with your tabs. Though this can be annoying, it doesn't prevent you from adding more pages.
