Hootsuite for Nonprofit Use
What do you like best about the product?
Ability to schedule multiple posts to hit multiple social accounts. Ease of use. Ability to shorten links right from the scheduler. Very handy especially for Twitter posts that are more limited in number of character allowance.
What do you dislike about the product?
Instagram is limited what you can do, however I believe that may be completely Instagram's doing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to save time everyday on social management. I usually will schedule at least a week at a time or over vacations.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Facebook now has built in scheduling but this is still helpful if you want to do everything from one system.

Hootsuite is usable
What do you like best about the product?
There are plenty and plenty of options and features for managing your social media accounts. By far, the scheduling feature is the best.
What do you dislike about the product?
The userface is kind of clunky. It's sort of spotty and sometimes the important things are hidden between options and you have to go searching.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scheduling the posts all at once for a week have been a lifesaver.

It helped us for our business because we could pre-plan our posts and not have to worry about doing them in real time. I have realized that it helps us not have to remember when we need to post.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Hootsuite is great for the pre-planning function. It allows you to not have to remember when a post needs to actually post and I really like that it is a set it and forget it system. I took one day a week to schedule the posts and didn't have to worry about it after that.
Great for scheduling -- but not all venues at once
What do you like best about the product?
LOVE the bulk uploader & scheduling Twitter! Getting everything approved and up is much easier. Also, the auto scheduling feature is helpful, but use it with caution. Sometimes, your instinct is best.
What do you dislike about the product?
When I schedule a post to appear on several social media sites, the images don't always appear as I want. You should be able to control the appearance on each site WITHOUT having to post several times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're getting the word out, partnering with journalists, and generally promoting forensic DNA solutions.

Leading service for Social Media Managment
What do you like best about the product?
It's our go to service for posting content simultaneously to all of our company's social profiles. It handles social sharing well, links, hastags, the lot.
What do you dislike about the product?
It doesn't handle multiple brand accounts that well, and guys, please fix that pic issue when you post through various social platforms.

Most tweets are to be managed manually due to character limits

Very easy to use and very easy to learn how to use

I don't love all the emails they send about upgrading your account or getting certificates through them but that's probably something you can change in your settings.

Makes scheduling across all of our communities so manageable!
What do you like best about the product?
Working for a company that runs over 12 different social media handles on Twitter, as well as the same accounts across Facebook and LinkedIn, Hootsuite makes everything easy to stay on top of. I'm able to keep track, schedule, stay on top of our followers, and so much more from one place. It's a life saver.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I wish the UX itself for scheduling out posts to multiple accounts was a little more intuitive, but it's easy enough to learn.

One or two people in my company have to oversee dozens of social media accounts, and Hootsuite helps make this manageable from one single place. The bulk scheduler is amazing for being efficient.

Make use of the bulk scheduler - it can truly be a life and time saver for monotonous scheduling.
