All-in-one social platform management

What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite has become perhaps the premier social management platform. Most social networks can be integrated into a user's Hootsuite account, and "dashboards" are highly customizable. Being able to schedule content across platforms, and in one place, is a huge timesaver for social management teams.

Additionally, Hootsuite is a great tool for managing several clients or brands in one platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hootsuite can be a bit cumbersome and seem disorganized when users have multiple brand accounts in use. This is really only a problem when writing/scheduling content, as it's easy to assign that content to the wrong client.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ability to increase efficiency of social channel management, especially for an agency that runs social media channels for 10+ clients.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Before paying for a subscription, check out the analytics capabilities. This may be a deciding factor for those who want a truly all-in-one solution.

What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to search for topics or keywords on social media. It also helps me group twitter users into lists so I can more easily keep up with a certain industry or topic.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't really think of anything I particularly dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can keep up with the massive amount of information on Twitter easier. I can group users into lists of say other reporters, reporters on a certain beat, PR people with fire organizations, or law enforcement or politics. This helps me keep up with what each group has going on in a more organized way.

What do you like best about the product?
Training is easy and helps implement use of product across teams. Monitoring and reporting are easy to set up and view multiple streams.
What do you dislike about the product?
Using the work flows and approval process are still confusing to work through and set up - even now that I've been using this for 3 years.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite helps us manage and monitor 24 different social media profiles for our global business. We have visibility into our entire social presence from one dashboard and can easily schedule posts while monitoring what our clients say and what our competitors are doing.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure you have enough seats to accommodate all users in your organization. We have 12 seats to support our global user base. They offer the Advance Social Media Strategy certificate with some of their software plans, which is a professional certification offered through Syracuse University. This is awesome. Take advantage of it!

Being able to schedule tweets so that we can ensure a consistent presence on Twitter.

The fact that the mobile app does not allow you to reschedule a scheduled tweet

Easy to integrate products

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to effortlessly post to more than one product simultaneously. (First one, then an automatic repost to the other.)
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't much that I dislike about HootSuite -- and in fact, it's a big time-saver -- but it would be great if there were greater customization options for the different products that will send the message(s).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
HootSuite gives me the ability to get more accomplished with fewer resources, and to automate a portion of the work.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
While it might not always be in your interest to make your posts match up identically on different products, if that's what you want to do, HootSuite is a good option.

What do you like best about the product?
I love being being able to schedule multiple posts across a number of different social media accounts all at once. It saves so much time.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the interface was more appealing. It is almost beta looking.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It help someone solve logging in to many accounts and having to schedule each post individually.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the ability to schedule social posts directly in one dashboard (Facebook, Twitter, Google+, and LinkedIn). You can also go in and make any edits to posts prior to them going live. No need to manually sign into each separate social channels- you can post all in one place. Just schedule and you are good to go! One less thing to worry about. You can also monitor your social media presence through the dashboard (mentions).
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing negative about my experience thus far with Hootsuite.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are pushing out content with Hootsuite on various social media platforms to get word out to our current customers and potential customers about out offerings.

Easy platform to schedule and monitor social media posts.

What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite makes it easy to schedule tweets, which you can't do within Twitter. It's also great for tracking everything on a platform from one page -- scheduled tweets, your own feed, mentions, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like using it to schedule Facebook posts, because they don't always appear correct once they're posted. Facebook's native app works better for that, especially the desktop version.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has helped me plan ahead more and think through an entire campaign by allowing me to schedule tweets.

What do you like best about the product?
I've used this for the three years I've been at my marketing agency. Simple easy to use to manage and schedule social content for all it social clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
Wish the analytics were better for reporting purposes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite allows everyone on our social team to access and schedule content for our clients and all their platforms in one place. Some of our clients have multiple platforms- that's a lot of log-ins to remember. But with hootsuite, we only need to remember one. It's a big time saver.

Formatting isn't very good outside of Twitter.
