Social monitoring, scheduling and analytics tool

What do you like best about the product?
Multi stream view for monitoring, scheduling tools and analytics
What do you dislike about the product?
Analytics are not very easy to understand, and most available only through premium service...yet its not premium data they are analyzing. Also when posting to twitter the content does not carry over properly (i.e. photos, links)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scheduling needs and multi network monitoring. Scheduling tool is a huge benefit.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Utilize it but find what works for you

What do you like best about the product?
Once you learn the ropes with Hootsuite, you be REALLY glad you did! Creating and scheduling social media post couldn't get any easier. I love the UI and also the uploading and scheduling features. Very easy to use once you get the hang of how it works.
What do you dislike about the product?
At a glance, Hootsuite can be a little overwhelming to the average user. I had a colleague look at other options because they said it seemed too daunting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Limited time but needed to grow and stay on top of using all of our social media outlets. We needed a one stop shop to handle Twitter, Instagram, Google+ and Facebook. Hootsuite has been able to provide a way to meet our social needs. The benefits? Saves lots of time!

What do you like best about the product?
I love the fact that it's free. I love the fact that I can schedule tweets days, weeks, and months in advance. I appreciate the basic analytics that are provided to free users.
What do you dislike about the product?
When I copy and paste the title of a news article along with the URL to the piece in to the box on Hootsuite that allows me to schedule tweets, it takes a few seconds for me to be able to see everything that I just pasted into the box. I find it irritating. Also, the pop up box that appears when I finally succeed in shortening a URL appears directly on top of the box where I'm still trying to compose my tweet. Grrr. On occasion, tweets that I've scheduled in advance are sent out without the links that I've shortened. Once again, grrr. Copy and pasting Twitter handles into Hootsuite is now a pain that Hootsuite is linked to Twitter so that when a user starts typing "@TwitterHandle" it turns blue and links to the Twitter account. I don't know every Twitter handle off the top of my head. I want to be able to copy and past them in without having to retype them to make sure they link to Twitter.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I manage the social media for a few different entities that operate globally. I can't send out tweets at all hours of the day and night. I need this tool for scheduling tweets that go out at all different times to reach followers in time zones across the globe from Dubai to Seoul and Beijing.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I can't believe that any company or organization isn't using Hootsuite. I recommend it to all of my affiliates and clients. Take advantage of this tool that allows you to communicate with your customers, clients, and partners 24/7 wherever they live around the world.

Easy To Manage Social Distribution Platform

I love being able to work one day a week on social and schedule posts out for days I'm not in the office.

The teams functionality requires a higher dollar investment.

What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite helps me manage multiple social media accounts across various brands.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface can be cumbersome at times, and I'd like to be able to customize messages while bulk posting them to different services.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I handle Facebook, etc for multiple brands. Posting and monitoring all these accounts is impossible individually. Hootsuite helps me with that.

Ensure that the messaging and posting aspects fit your needs.

Easy to manage multiple social media pages

What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite makes it easy for me to schedule social media posts, and do so across multiple platforms. I work for a small firm and taking time off means social media sometimes gets left behind - hootsuite allows me to schedule in advance and leave me with peace of mind that campaigns are not getting delayed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Since I work in a small company with a small budget, the cost to have added features can be difficult. Otherwise, we very much enjoy it
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest problem solved for us was the time it takes to manage a campaign across multiple platforms - no longer having to sign into different sites makes it much easier. We also like being able to schedule in advance.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would highlight recommend hootsuite! It is very easy to use, and can be paid or free depending on your needs.

What do you like best about the product?
The suggestions for content and advanced scheduling for multiple accounts at once make it easy to use. Hootsuite also provides training to be able to up-to-date on social media marketing best practices.
What do you dislike about the product?
The additional reporting are a pay as you go fee rather than simply including them in the monthly fee.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to monitor all social channels for several businesses in one place allowing us to stay connected to customers and respond quickly to both positive and negative comments and posts.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The pro level plan is definitely worth it.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can schedule social media posts ahead of time with Hootsuite and that I have the option to receive an email when the posts are sent.
What do you dislike about the product?
Every now and again my posts don't push out to my social media networks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I no longer have to be attached to my social media accounts as I schedule most of my posts ahead of time. Very convenient and a total time saver!

What do you like best about the product?
HootSuite makes scheduling social media content super easy. The Link shortener works within the dash and helps you save precious characters in tweets. Great for collaboration. Easy to use content calendar/manager.
What do you dislike about the product?
Analytics need some work. They are good, but some of the bigger platforms offer more in-depth insights. Occasional hiccups with posts going live.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy to collaborate. Free accounts. Manage social media and content easily.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Start out with the free level before moving up, unless you absolutely need the enterprise level. The offer training and even have a social media academy, which is very helpful to beginners.

Great Time Saver!

What do you like best about the product?
It's so easy to schedule a whole month of social media post in just one day. It's such a lifesaver, and gives me a lot of peace of mind knowing that it's finished. I can also add in posts, move posts, and delete posts in advance if something comes up. It's a fairly usable dashboard, and the streams make it easy to check that everything has posted on time, that the photos are all there, and that my media platforms are all consistent.
What do you dislike about the product?
The dashboard is fairly usable, but when I hover over anything in left column, there are so many pop ups that I can't see anything around it. The app, which I have on my phone to publish to Instagram, is a bit tricky sometimes. If I'm scheduling a post through the app, the 'send' and 'schedule' icons are really close together, and a couple of times I've ended up sending out a post that I meant to schedule for a later time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm able to create and present a consistent and streamlined promotional campaign across multiple social platforms at once. I don't have to be tied to my desktop; I can post Insta posts on the weekends from my phone with a quick reminder. Hoosuite lets me have complete control over what gets posted, and when. I am also saving time by being able to upload and schedule a month's worth of post in one day. It frees me up to complete other tasks!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely worth a try. The free program includes three social platforms, which is plenty for a company (or person) just starting to create a social media campaign or branding campaign. It may feel a little clunky at first, but after a test post, everything is pretty clear. There is also a good help section onboard, and Hootsuite is popular enough that you can get additional help via the internet at large. You're not going to risk anything by trying it, but you will get a major reward.
