S4HANA Private Cloud Experience
What do you like best about the product?
It provides the rigor and discipline that is necessary in a leading ERP. The functionality and availability is solid. Some integrations and custom development are more challenging.
What do you dislike about the product?
Cost considerations could be a factor. There are also frequent product and technology "adjustments", which can make it difficult to execute a roadmap or strategy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Consolidated view of all business transactions. Solid controls integrated into the system.

Integration between different solutions. Adopting to the SAP P2P Process is not very user friendly

What do you like best about the product?
Allows for faster implementations, more standardized approaches and fast innovations.
What do you dislike about the product?
Debugging is hard, or not possible. I sometimes miss SE16N access.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
FIORI interface forces users to abandon GUI. Most issues in implementations are because existing users (or sometimes consultants) refuse to use the new FIORI apps. Public cloud does not have this issue, as it is FIORI only.

S/4HANA Cloud help customers to optimize their processes by adopting the Clean Core provided by SAP Standard best practices

Scope items can be challenging to accommodate to fit customer specific needs.

I liked how easy it was to create new clients, perform client copies and the speed and performance of the database.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are still some aspects of ECC that are there and some Fiori apps need additional functionality.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Fiori applications create a more personalized user experience with instant reporting and dashboarding.

Being a cloud based tool allot of controls are in the background and its difficult to monitor performance when your unsure what should be checked in the backgroung
