Results Delivered Quickly Despite High Maintenance Costs
What do you like best about the product?
I find the ability of SAP S/4HANA Cloud to process huge volumes of data in memory incredibly beneficial. This feature significantly aids my decision-making by providing real-time dashboards that deliver results quickly and efficiently. The scalable infrastructure of the platform is another standout advantage, accommodating growth and changes in my project seamlessly. Moreover, the unified data view across departments enhances collaboration and helps maintain consistency in operations. I have a high appreciation for these aspects, as they collectively enable streamlined and effective project management.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel that SAP S/4HANA Cloud is expensive to maintain and involves costs for manual scaling, which I find burdensome. Additionally, I believe there is room for improvement in the user interface and the ease of customization, making it more user-friendly and adaptable to specific needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use SAP S/4HANA Cloud for real-time decision-making with quick results and data processing of huge volumes. It offers a scalable infrastructure and a unified data view across departments, despite its maintenance costs.
Effortless Setup and Simple Configuration Out of the Box
What do you like best about the product?
Its easy to use out of the box. Configuration is much simpler than on premise. Also the interface is smooth. Subscription fee seems lower than other solutions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Its a bit rigid, some document types cannot be created (such as maintenance order type). Workflow seems a bit underwhelming, we can only do simple flow. The most disappointing feature is Jouille, the AI is hard to set up and it’s capability is not as good as ChatGPT or Gemini. Even clients are not found of this feature
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It can give a much lower costs compare to other SAP products but meet the expectation of some small or middle size companies. We can do quick implementation as well.

Plus, the flexibility of being cloud-based means easy scalability and reduced IT overhead, which is a big win for growing teams.

While SAP S/4HANA Cloud is powerful, I do feel there’s a learning curve — especially for new users coming from non-SAP systems. Some of the navigation paths can feel a bit complex initially, and certain customizations require more technical support than expected. Also, occasional system lags during peak usage can slow down workflows. That said, once you get used to the environment, it becomes much smoother to operate.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud is helping bring together multiple business functions that were previously scattered across different tools. It centralizes finance, procurement, and supply chain data, which makes tracking and reporting much easier. Real-time insights into operations mean fewer delays and better forecasting accuracy. It’s also reduced manual work — a lot of repetitive tasks are now automated, which saves time and minimizes human error. I'm impressed by its SaaS model with efficient data center management that doesn’t require in-house engineers. The pricing, functionality, and licensing options are appealing. Its integration with BTP solutions enhances ease of use, and the simple UI aids both business understanding and collaboration. I value its regular updates, keeping us aligned with market advancements and utilizing new technologies like AI effectively. The impactful support system and fair pricing options further ensure I would choose this product again.
