It’s a great tool and helps to streamline all the data privacy process
What do you like best about the product?
I really like how easy it is to remove user data from third party systems. If we needed to manage all of the necessary steps to do that ourselves, it would be much harder.
What do you dislike about the product?
The tool is delivering what we expect in a very good and easy way, so nothing to add here.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a company that deals with user data, we need to make sure there is a way to process user requests to remove their personal info from our records, and as we have a lot of integrations with third party systems, and it's when Transcend comes to the rescue.

What do you like best about the product?
The team at Transcend has been incredible at supporting us and delivering value.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not something that I directly dislike but a feature that I wish they had was monitoring around opt-outs. Our executive team has asked us in the past if certain design changes in the opt-out flow has a noticeable impact on opt-outs and it would be nice to be able to track in the dashboard especially by certain key demographics (region,language,etc)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The major problem we're solving with Transcend is ensuring compliance with all privacy regulations but specifically personally identifiable information handling compliance. We also use transcend for deletion requests.
Generally easy to implement in the code, I have only used the cron integration type.
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to understand how to use the cron implementation.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of parameters that can be passed to the Sombra URL. For example, we have a 'cluster' field in the data, being able to filter results on this field would have been useful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Maintaining a list of completed/pending compliance requests in one central location acorss all silos is helpful.
Orchestrate privacy requests and reduce development time/resources
What do you like best about the product?
Transcend helps us orchestrate a high volume of privacy requests across our databases and technical infrastructure while providing a sleek interface for users to exercise their privacy rights. Transcend is built for engineering teams to quickly implement and offers easy tools for non-technical teams (i.e., Legal, Customer Success) to manage on a day-to-day basis. Transcend's customer service team has been immensely helpful and creative in helping us design a flow tailored to our business's needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Transcend provides the privacy orchestration piece, keep in mind that Legal and Engineering will still need to partner closely to identify the personal data that will be actioned via Transcend's services. Transcend recently released a product to facilitate the detection and discovery of personal data to create greater automation, but it's a separate offering.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Transcend helps us ensure that our data silos (i.e., internal databases and third-party vendors with whom we share personal data with) are responding to user privacy requests in a quick and organized manner. It removes the need for our engineering teams to build this orchestration engine themselves and makes it easy for users to have a Privacy Center where they can take action and learn more about our company's privacy practices in a digestible way.

like the way it control over user data and its privacy

lack of information in some cases where user data is modified and I have to refresh it to get the results

for me, it helps to keep a track on user data and gives a platform to say delete a user data if user wants it
It is a smooth experience though I have not worked on the integration

Easy to use UI. Does it's functionality very well.easy to integrate with other software services.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times the consents don't get stored. No the solution pretty much solves the entire problem. I think it's already good. It's fine as it is.

Consents of users to delete all their data with Groupon to ensure gdpr compliance.
Wonderful product and responsive team
What do you like best about the product?
We evaluated several privacy vendors to help automate our privacy compliance process, and when we came across Transcend, we knew we'd found the tool for us. In no time at all, we transformed our manual, time-consuming process into an automated process that virtually runs itself. And the setup is so simple, even a lawyer can do it! The team at Transcend is also phenomenal, and we've gotten quick and helpful responses any time we've reached out with questions. Transcend has helped free up hours and hours for our support, legal, and compliance teams, and we couldn't be more appreciative.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's hard to think of anything because I feel like the product is great. But if I had to identify anything, it would be that there isn't an API integration for every tool we use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Transcend has helped us automate our previous manual and time-consuming privacy compliance process. By implementing Transcend, we have freed up many hours for our support, legal, and compliance teams. Our customers are happier too!
Great Support and Incredibly Flexible

The support team - when we have run into roadblocks, Transcend always comes up with a potential solution

Haven't yet come across anything we haven't been able to tackle

Automation of RTF, Reporting/Metrics/ appropriate communication to the consumer
I find Transcend very user friendly and self-explanatory.

I really like the setup and placement of features. If I ever need additional assistance, the Transcend team is also quick and responsive

There is nothing I dislike at the moment.

Transcend is personally making privacy requests easier to handle quickly and in an organized fashion.

What do you like best about the product?
The core challenge for privacy work at a startup — how do you deliver high-quality privacy experiences, without slowing down product teams? Transcend makes deletion and subject access requests straightforward and seamless, with hundreds of integrations and a simple point-and-click process to setup. The data mapping product makes it possible for us to track what teams are building without needing to be in the way. When we've had ideas about ways to improve the product or areas where we needed support, the Transcend team was incredibly collaborative, jumping on a call right away and suggesting multiple approaches that might meet our needs, and always put us at the center of the decision making. Transcend is absolutely delightful to work with.

Transcend has been great to work with — excited to continue partnering with them as they continue expanding the product to cover more and more of our data privacy needs!
