Highly customizable customer education platform

What do you like best about the product?
It was very important to us that our Academy felt like an extension of our website and our product. Skilljar is highly customizable and provides us this capability to create a seamless experience for our customers.

Implementation process was wonderful and our IM, Logan, served as a fantastic strategic partner for us!
What do you dislike about the product?
Dependency on coding to do some of this design. However, this is something that's being worked on!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Unlocking self-service education for our customers at scale.

We love skilljar!

What do you like best about the product?
Wonderful customer support! Easy to get in touch with and always receptive to feedback.
What do you dislike about the product?
It was a bit of a learning curve at first but now the muscle memory has kicked in.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Skilljar is a great place to house our e-learning and recorded VILT.

Great platform for customer learning

What do you like best about the product?
I find the most helpful aspect of Skilljar is the ease of use. Creating engaging lessons that can be broken down into chunks of content is key for adult learning. I also appreciate the ability to create small assessments that can be embedded through each couurse. Sending out course links to our customers is easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that Skilljar had scorm capabilities built into the platform. My company doesn't hae the resources to purchase an additional platform, but having the ability to do that right in skiljar would be an option that my company would consider purchasing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Skilljar is allowing us to create and deliver learning experiences for our customers. We can easily clone master courses that we can then deliver to hundreds of school districts throughout the US.

Good platform for customer education

What do you like best about the product?
It's been a great tool to create courses to support customer education. Course design has been simple to learn and easy to replicate across courses. Their support team is responsive to communication and work with you to problem solve when questions arise.
What do you dislike about the product?
In the way in which we are using the platform, when updates to courses need to be made it requires a great deal of effort. It's also not as seamless to integrate data into other platforms as we would like.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Skilljar is solving the problem of offering asynchronous professional learning is a way that is easily replicable across our clients while giving us the data and insights district leaders are looking for.

Skilljar's Platform Continues to Drive Success For Our Company

What do you like best about the product?
I like how intuitive it was to figure out. There is a bevvy of documentation for just about everything you could think of. For the concepts that are a bit more confusing, the support staff has been very attentive to our company needs. I use the platform very frequently and have become very familiar with the many features that are offered. I also want to point out that it was very easy to integrate our own services, such as single sign on, to create a seamless user experience. Implementation of our own CSS was very easy as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main thing I didn't like, from a developers perspective, was that there isn't much documentation on each individual page you may encounter when implementing your CSS and styling rules.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Yeah so we are a small company and we rely heavily on sales from customer education. With a team of five developers and 4 web applications (including our Skilljar LMS), we found Skilljar empowered us to do much more with a lot less resources. We use the platform to host course materials, manage student enrollments, track and monitor purchases, and the monetization of our courses.

What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy the ease of use in building content and the ability to easily share content with those needing to enroll in the program.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like more functionality within the learning path (the ability to clone a pathway and more data readily available in this view because I love the addition of the enrollment section).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Northpass has helped us stay organized and save time. We have a much easier way to track and support our customer education experience.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that we get to meet with our CSM on a recurring schedule. or request meetings to review any questions or assistance. I love that we can use the reports and analytics to make data driven decisions.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish Skilljar had the ability to read SCORM files or accept xAPI files.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
User adoption and increasing the implementation process of our product.

What do you dislike about the product?
The only knock is that when our customers & partners complete a certification, the certificate they earn doesn't populate into the automatic LinkedIn post because LinkedIn doesn't support PDF files in posts - perhaps this is more of a knock on LinkedIn :-)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Educating our internal employees, partners, and customers. We have tons of great content and certification programs. Skilljar - in conjunction with our software - enables our customers and partners to really master their BillingPlaform skills. Users are guided through step-by-step instructions in Skilljar to build out use cases in our software; when users finish the module, they verify their work via a widget within our software which runs checks; when successfully completed, our software calls out into Skilljar to unlock subsequent modules. Skilljar was super easy to integrate with.

The administration is great and the user experience is one of the better that I've seen. We also had a very positive implementation experience.

Excellent experience from implementation to launch

What do you like best about the product?
We migrated from another LMS to Skilljar. The Implementation team made the entire migration process very simple and straightforward. Within a few days, our entire team was proficient using Skilljar - the dashboard is clean and intuitive. The Skilljar Academy provided all of the training we needed to get started.

We received great support throughout the entire implementation process, and good advice to steer us in the right direction with our new customer education site.

Now that we are live, we've received very positive feedback from our learners. They report that the interface is clean and easy to navigate, content is easy to find, and they are very happy with the new experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
Skilljar is designed primarily as a customer education platform, but we use it for both customer education and internal training. There are a few limitations when it comes to managing internal training. Our previous LMS supported the use of due dates, reporting on overdue training, and manager notifications. We have found workarounds for each of these gaps, but it would be nice to see a self-serve reporting option, where we could tailor our own reports or analytics.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Skilljar makes a great first impression with our customers, improving customer experience and satisfaction with training. It also enables greater scalability for us, supporting self-serve account creation and management for our customers. It has reduced our internal administration for content and user management by more than 75%, and enabled us to focus on content development instead.
