Workiva, the best flexible and multi purpose tool
What do you like best about the product?
Flexibility and cooperation between users and admin.
Chance to create connection with source EPM/ERP system securely.
Easy access to support in case of needs and for everyday use.
The implementation is lighter and faster than a normal project.

What do you dislike about the product?
Costs of licence still too high compared to others systems in the market.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Time saving accros multiple topics and possibility to integrate data from source system. Offers also history tracking, XBRL and linking bewtween multiple files.
Workiva for SOX Compliance
What do you like best about the product?
We are in our first few years of using Workiva for SOX and so far it has been a great tool for our team. We really enjoy the user interface and that it can be personalized for our needs/preferences. This year we are most excited to build upon the reporting functionality and create live dashboards/presentations that can be used for our executive reporting. We are also looking to expand using the compliance manager for other audits on the IT/PCI side.
What do you dislike about the product?
Exporting things out of Wdesk, especially on the reports side can be a bit clunky and requires some formatting once downloaded. We understand there is a push to encourage users to view reports directly in the platform but there are often times where an export is needed. We have put in help tickets and provided feedback and look forward to reports exporting cleaner in the future to reduce clean up work before providing ad a deliverable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One stop shop for our SOX compliance. This greatly streamlines our work and has once source of truth that the different team members can view at any time.
Workiva is a great tool for efficiency
What do you like best about the product?
Workiva has created so many efficiencies in our quarterly and annual reporting processes. The linking and automation capabilities allow us to spend more time in other areas, and allow us to have comfort over the process. The comments tool has also been very helpful in performing live reviews and being able to track. I use the blackline feature non-stop and it is a quick way to compare the document to a previous iteration or to a historical filing.
What do you dislike about the product?
The workbook is slightly different than excel and doesn't have all the same capabilities. I also wish it was simpler to perform a blackline to a separate folder within workiva.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

What do you like best about the product?
Workiva has a great dashboard and set-up for Financial Reporting. With the different Wdesk add-ins its made our data upload much quicker and more accurate. As well, whenever we do run into any problems they usually resolve our issues in the same day.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the software can run a bit slow during peak hours.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ease of data entry and organizatoin.
Seamless and collaborative
What do you like best about the product?
Ability to collaborate with preparers, reviewers and external auditors seamlessly and in real-time and still maintain version control with proper audit trail for all changes made.
What do you dislike about the product?
Wdata maintenance requires technical expertise and can be challenging when organisations go through changes or mergers and acquisitions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Annual reporting obligations required by the corporate regulator in Australia, New Zealand and Hong Kong.
Workiva is fantastic software that continues to stand out relative to the other options
What do you like best about the product?
Workivas continues to deliver results at scale for programs/projects involving many users dealing with sensitive data. The capabilities it has do not seem to be possible in other software platforms.
Additionally, I continue to be impressed by how Workiva seems to continue to change for the better every year. There always seems to be something to look forward to between new tools such as Process, Workiva Generative AI, and more.

What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest downside I have with Workiva in 2024 is that lag can still happen on the platform. The "Process" tool was exceptionally difficult at times last year.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workiva solves the dilemma of how to store and actively work on many sensitive documents at once, especially when the documents are tied to each other.

What do you like best about the product?
HAVE A SINGLE SOURCE OF TRUTH FOR THE NUMBERS IS KEY TO REDUCE ERRORS AND AUTOMATE PROCESSES. WORKIVA ENABLES A COLLABORATIVE ENVIRONMENT IN AN INTUITIVE WAY. BEING ABLE TO SHARE THE FINANCIAL REPORTS FOR THE AUDITORS TO REVIEW AND GET THEIR COMMENTS DIRECTLY INTO THE MASTER FILE MAKES THE REVIEW/REWORK ROUNDS PROCESS VERY EFFICIENT.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is still room for improvement on the presentation/side creation as there are many features that the platform lacks compared to other programs like power point.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Human errors when transcribing content: single point of truth and automation in the numbers

Workiva is the best tool for SEC Reporting
What do you like best about the product?
Workiva allows for seamless collaboration across Finance orgnaization. The organization capabilities are helpful for Form 10-Q/K filings and ad hoc 8-K filings. Workiva is a system we use daily in our group.
What do you dislike about the product?
Workiva can improve by expanding its features to create a tool for project management and PBC collation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workiva solves our external filing problem.
My favorite SOX tool
What do you like best about the product?
Currently we are using the SOX database and controls management solution. It saves so much time to have data points linked throughout our workspace - from controls directly to documents, flowcharts, and narratives. The interface is easy to use and we always can get customer support quickly when we need it.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some additional features that would be helpful in the SOX testing environment, and sometimes it's unclear when improvements are coming down the pipeline. Would be helpful to know if something is an existing ticket that will be a future feature.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps us efficiently manage our SOX controls testing.
Easy to Use!
What do you like best about the product?
It's very easy to use, especially linking features between platforms. There is also so much great documentation online to help with learning about new features. I also really like the Workiva conference where they unveil all the new features.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice to be able to pre-schedule a filing istead of having to do it live. Customer support also tends to struggle with answering questions quickly and efficiently.
