Why Workiva Rocks!
What do you like best about the product?
Workiva is a one stop shop for all users of an organization. Through Workiva, financial reporting, internal controls, internal audit, and GRC can share information and documentation.
What do you dislike about the product?
Getting users to get used to Workiva takes a little time if they are unfamiliar with the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Linking documentation and enhanced permissions.
Easy to use and understand
What do you like best about the product?
Workiva is easy to use, easy to understand, and intuitive to the user. It provides a centralized and easy location to prepare your filings and is a great user experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not have any real negatives about Workiva.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They are trying to make life easier on the back office, and they provide a wide breadth of resources to help facilitate this. I am very excited about the new AI feature.
Great product

Don't know how we would do our SOX testing without Workiva
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it is a little slow. We also have the audit module and find that a bit clunky

We do our SOX testing and it works great.
Great Financial Reporting Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Workiva allows us to seamleslly collaborate across various business functions and file directly with the SEC.
What do you dislike about the product?
Workiva's functionality for blacklines could improve in order to narrow down changes to certain pages.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workiva helps us to ensure internal consistency across our documents and within documents.
Financial reporting for Fortune 500 company
What do you like best about the product?
Workiva is very easy to use and super intuitive. I could not imagine doing the work I do without it
What do you dislike about the product?
Opening documents can be somewhat slow at times, but it's very that bad
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workiva solves the efficiency problem of assembling financial reports. It also mitigates risk with the linking feature
Saves time and reduces errors!
What do you like best about the product?
My favorite Workiva feature is being able to link numbers throughout the same document to limit the human error in manually placing those numbers in. I also love how easy it is to collaborate with my team members through the Workiva comment feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think an area where Workiva could improve is adding a track changes feature to the Presentations document.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gen AI sounds like an amazing resource to help brainstorm disclosure, at least as a starting point for our team.
ESG Program, new Workiva user
What do you like best about the product?
I like that we can tag our ESG metrics to various framworks and add unique program tags. I also appreciate the ability to link across WDesk workspaces to ensure consistency in public disclosures.
What do you dislike about the product?
The onboarding training is a bit cumbersome. May just be how I learn, but I would prefer more hands on training with the application
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The platform provides an organized/centralized place for all of our ESG data. We did not have a controlled environment prior to onboarding Workiva and it is helping us to mature our program.
Innovative

It is a great platform that helps to complete our ACFR

Sometimes it id diffccult to create links and formilas

It facilitates and simplify my ACFR preparation

What do you like best about the product?
This is truly a one-stop shop, with outstanding customer support. I am in the system day in and day out with my team. New hires enjoy how easy it is to use. The company is constantly making improvements, and it’s impressive to see how much innovation they add to the platform each year. I’m continually surprised by their commitment to progress.
What do you dislike about the product?
The page load times are slow, although I have noticed some improvement each year. I would have liked to see AI improvement as a baseline for all the models without having to pay for Wdata.

Currently our main platform for Sox testing. ESG on the horizon as well.
