Reliable and visually appealing product that allows great collaboration across our team.
What do you like best about the product?
Reliable product with appealing aesthetics. Easy to collaborate across our organization to complete SEC filings. Excellent client service from our customer rep as well as XBRL team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can't think of any at the moment. Product and service teams are all great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Writing and maintaining financial statement disclosures. Collaboration across various team members to edit and update statements in real-time. Also solves the logistical process of filing with the SEC.

What do you like best about the product?
Workiva has the best-in-class XBRL and filing solution, with experts who are always just a phone call away. Workiva's filing solution is intuitive and provides order where other solutions fall short.
What do you dislike about the product?
To get the most out of Workiva, the entire organization needs to buy-in and get their work in it, which can be a challenge. However, once the organization gets in and begins using the tool, its hard for them not to love it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workiva gets us all in the same place, using the same information and collaborating in real-time. Having a single source of truth ensures that our executives know where to look for the right numbers.

SEC reporting is easier now using workiva
We have really enjoyed the functionality of Workiva for 10-K/10-Q reporting.
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to create links within the document is helpful because it makes rolling forward and updating information much simlper.
We also have a created tabs to ensure that different parts of the document balance and tie out, so the accuracy and cohesiveness of the document is improved.

What do you dislike about the product?
The spreadsheet functionality can be somewhat clunky at different points. I have been frustrated at the inability to paste over a cell if there are source references in it. Also, it's really weird when you're using the arrow keys to navigate when writing a formula it doesn't work the same as Excel.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's definitely improving the reliability of our reporting process. I'm glad in the last year they have made improvements such upgrading their linking functionality (now we can link within a cell), which is very helpful.

The functionality of workiva is simple and user friendly.

User integration from other areas of the business can be a bit difficult at first

Financial Reporting
Workiva is a great financial reporting and ESG tool.
What do you like best about the product?
The linking functionalities are very helpful in maintaining accuracy.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can get very slow at times and crash when there is too much content or too many users.

Being able to collaborate with team members on reporting needs in an accurate manner.
Section 16 Reporting
What do you like best about the product?
I file Section 16 forms using Workiva, and the new updates make the process easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Form 144 is under the SEC instead of Section 16.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workiva makes filing Section 16 forms easy. Our previous vendor was very clunky.

-The only issue I have with the platform is the XBRL tagging for 8-K cover pages. I wish it was more automated.

the ability for several users to work in the platform at once, version control, and linking of numbers and dates assures consistency and accuracy among documents or reports

there is nothing that I dislike about Workiva.

the XBRL review function has been a significant improvement and a great help. we are also currently exploring chains and connections functionality which will help to import data into our spreadsheets.
