Best tool for SEC reporting
What do you like best about the product?
I have used Workiva at my public company for SEC filings for over seven years. The product (and professional support teams) have never failed to deliver. What I love about Workiva is that they constantly update and improve product functionality. It is easy, intuitive, and reliable.
What do you dislike about the product?
Compared to other solutions such as RR Donnelley, Workiva does not have a robust "outsourcing" service to quickly prepare document edits on a last-minute basis. Typically an RR Donnelley is used for an event like an IPO, but after the company is public and simply needs to file recurring reports with the SEC, Workiva is the best solution.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workiva has been my company's solution for SEC reporting, including Form 10-K, 10-Q, etc. and Form 4s. It greatly increases our ability to collaborate among team members, prepare track changes and share drafts.
Great organizational tool
What do you like best about the product?
Workavia streamlines the review process in an organized and coherent fashion.
What do you dislike about the product?
Requires training to use - not all of the features are user friend.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It provides a good resource for many different stakeholders to provide comments.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like the most about Workiva is that it helps me carry over the filing documentation work that was done in the previous quarter, saving me time!
What do you dislike about the product?
There are few things that I dislike about Workiva, one of the things that could be improved would be to automate the updating of dates to a new period

Workiva is helping my team file our SEC reports on time and with less work

What do you like best about the product?
Workiva makes something as meticulous as SEC filings approachable. I have appreciated the prompt responses received from Workiva support a few days before filing and even the hour before. I would highly recommend Workiva to a colleague, especially if they want to streamline all earnings cycle processes (Earnings Release, Shareholder Letter, etc..)
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have many complaints about Workiva other than the assistance one could receive with an ERP/GL system integration. I have worked with Workiva at two companies and neither Workiva contact has pushed or mentioned the possibility of ERP/GL system integration. This is a service I would definitely pay for if it was pushed more often and/or at the beginning of the client relationship.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workiva has been great at offering full-desk services around XBRL assistance with key filings. Additionally, the prompt response of help desk agents has helped ease my mind on many occaisions.
I often use workvia to review and create financial documents.
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to work remotely on a project with my team. There are aspects to comment on and monitor progress on different sheets.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the features available are not well known. This is partly user error, but also challenging to find explanations on specific features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ease of financial preparation. They make it easier to continue on the year by easily pulling old information in.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that the tool allows for collaboration across different members of various teams. It allows for real-time views of edits and we also use the comments feature very often.
What do you dislike about the product?
Workiva tends to be pretty glitchy, especially during the times when it's being heavily used by other clients, which is when we need it to perform the most (i.e. during quarter end busy seasons).

Great product
What do you like best about the product?
It's very simple and easy to use, just like Excel.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it can be slow - I will have trouble copying and pasting data, sometimes it takes a long time to load or does not paste the data at all.

It helps us file our 10-Q, 10-K and earnings release with ease.

What do you like best about the product?
Workiva is easy to use with different modules- it's easy to assign access to different modules, and the reporting is easy to build out out of the box

The UI in terms of design could be better and easier to use

Consolidating different Business functions onto a common platform instead of using different technologies
A solid financial reporting disclosure platform
What do you like best about the product?
Workiva is highly flexible in producing comprehensive financial disclosures in an efficient manner.
What do you dislike about the product?
The portal is in the process of developing new capabilities around ESG reporting. There is an opportunity to make these more comprehensive, similar to the financial program.

Workiva helps ensure financial disclosures are consistent and are reportable in compliance with rules and regulations.
