Workiva makes preparing financial statements and other tax forms easier than ever.
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Workiva allows multiple people to work within the system simultaneously, making the preparation process more efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wouldn't say I like how quickly Workiva logs you out of the system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workiva helps us put together our quarterly and year-end financial statements by allowing us to work as a team to complete the process.
Review of Workiva
What do you like best about the product?
Workiva is an ERP system used for financial reporting purposes and the automation of data.
What do you dislike about the product?
Use of Workiva (other than demo) requires a license to be used.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workiva provides automation of the books from different sources. The user can upload spreadsheets to budget and forecast financial data.
Workiva is a great tool to use throughout your finance organization.
What do you like best about the product?
One of the standout features of Workiva is its ability to automate repetitive tasks and improve collaboration across teams. I love the features such as real-time data sharing, automated data linking, and customizable reporting templates.
What do you dislike about the product?
I had difficulties with certain features, such as the formatting of reports and the platform's search functionality.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping provide an easy way to manage our external reporting and auditing needs throughout the business. This is an integral piece to our success as a public company.
Good tool but not completely fix all
What do you like best about the product?
The linking technology to make the annual report dynamic.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cash flow model is not built in to feed in from the balance sheet and income statement. We have to build it ourselves.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Linking numbers to make it dynamic to changes in the trial balance.
This program is effective in managing data securely and tracking outstanding items.
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate how user friendly the program is.
What do you dislike about the product?
I didn't get automatic reminders for outstanding items.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our company struggled to track items needed for tracking data related to SOX controls. With Workiva, we did not run in to this issue.
Difficult to run samples on big files
What do you like best about the product?
Reports and control of work phases. Its very helpfun on this.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not runs samples on big files (Excel with many lines). There are many processes with a big quantity of samples (like billing, payments...) and we cannot use Workiva to run samples.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solve need to tracker work in excel files and many e-mail to cumunication deficiencies.
Helpful, but limited
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to track audit tasks and having the ability to go back and forth within the task is beneficial. Funneling all requests that used to be handled via emails and instant messages into a single tool has been helpful. I also very much like the reporting capabilities for open tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't know if it is just our environment or not, but the inability to copy and paste contents of a request is extremely frustrating and limiting. For back and forth comments, the fact that it is all in a single field and not saved/filed separately seems like an opportunity for improvement.

Creating a single flow of requests has cut down on duplicated requests and lost requests via email or other ticketing systems. It's been great for dashboard reporting at an executive level to s

What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to understand. It is smooth and more like a mobile application . More you use it more comfortable yo get.
What do you dislike about the product?
Accessing previous years testing becomes difficult. It should have a option to open last years testing in different tab instead of opening in same.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Workiva for audit purpose. We get to the point testing template and our testing becomes easy. In grc based template which are excel spreadsheets takes lot of time in manually filling.
Excellent reporting tool to enhance efficiency and reduce human error
What do you like best about the product?
Ability to link support to workbook and capability to automate by connecting to internal accounting system.
What do you dislike about the product?
Word document downloaded or when convert to a google doc, the format can look funky
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It eliminates efforts needed for version controls and provides a platform allowing users to view/edit real-time changes. The linking function is so essential for reporting that I highly recommend replacing the manual process. In addition, Workiva continues to launch new features that will further automate the reporting process with 24/7 customer support that is always there to provide the best solution.
Efficient, effective, impactful
What do you like best about the product?
Single source linking that eliminates duplicative work/inputs, rollforward of information for ease of preparation in subsequent periods, enhanced collaboration across teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are certain limitations like drag and drop and some advanced formulas that are not available yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workiva seems to always be working to improve the product and encourages user feedback to facilitate progress.
