Must Have for SEC Reporting
What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy how easy it is to import data and link data between spreadsheets and word documents, tag XBRL and file our documents all in one platform. Maintaining historical data and rolling forward periods is super simple and can be done in a matter of clicks. We recently started to use Workiva for our internal, management reporting as well as our SEC reporting and have seen fantastic efficiencies!
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have any specific complaints about the platform itself. At times, during high volume periods we have experienced some slowdowns in use, but that's about it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workiva links directly with SAP S4 Hana and brings our data into our filings directly and eliminates manual effort and mistakes. We are also able to create a single source of data that links to various internal and external reports that prevents reporting inconsistent or incorrect data and elminates the need for duplicative checks.

Can be clunky and a little messy in editing documents and presentation of data.

We look forward to automating our GRC processes with the help of Workiva.
Workiva Experience
What do you like best about the product?
Workiva is user friendly, efficient for our team; multiple people can be in a document and be updating things at the same time
What do you dislike about the product?
There is sometimes a lag time in Workiva; blacklines do not always load and produce in a timely manner.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Financial reporting needs.
Mostly great but a few kinks
What do you like best about the product?
I like how I can get everyone into one system, people can see what they need to see, edit what they need to. No more and no less. It keeps everything in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
The stickiest part of using workiva for me is getting new members on to the system. Sending a welcome email with a link that expires after 24 hours means that I send the link to them at least twice, often three or four times to get them to log in on time to the system. I often tell people "getting an account is the hardest part I promise".
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are collecting data from about a dozen business units across our ESG metrics and are able to consolidate all of that information into one set of data for reporting (on varying reporting frequencies as well).

Very intuitive in how to use. Makes collaborration a breeze.

There are no items that come to mind insofar as to what I dislike.

It is solving our reporting functions issues, and it is making data easy to access and generate reports.
Workiva is a application is a great tool to centralize Audit Processes
What do you like best about the product?
Workiva is an application that has helped our team centralize data and reporting. It's user-friendly for Auditors and Control Owners. With Workiva our team has been able to collaborate more efficiently and streamline our process and controls.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Workiva application is constantly being updated. It's hard to keep up with the new features. There needs to be a monthly newsletter or something that will provide the businesses with the new features of the application.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workiva is helping us solve streamlining our documentation and improving our relationship with external auditors and controls owners. It has allowed our team to have one platform for all control owners, external auditors, and internal auditors to have access to.

It'sallowed me to grow my personal tech skills as well as automate our data/reporting processes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Little quirks to get used to, nothhing major!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us have one "source of truth" data location as well as work collaborativley as FP&A with our business areas to automate our data and use one source of data for all of our reporting needs.
